My sister wanted a salon closer to us so we tried salon 312. We had Alexis give us our haircuts. We both love it. She kept asking if the length was ok to make sure she doesn't cut too much off which has always been an issue for my sister and me. She was quick and straight to the point. Kara does the best men's haircut handsdown. it took me a long time to find someone who could do a longer men's cut without it looking like some atrocity from the awkward 80's stage, so i highly recommend just saving a lot of time and effort and going straight to her. read more

I'm very surprised at all the great things I have heard about this salon. For a Saturday mid-morning, it was dead in there. Dana did my hair, eyebrows, and pedicure. Hair was cut okay, but not styled good. She left the bang flopping in my face even though I told her that I want the bang swept to the side. When she did my eyebrows, she didn't trim them with little scissors to get the stray hairs to lay correctly. Told me that I have a colic on my right eyebrow and there's nothing she can do about it. Well, I've had other places do it MUCH better. Then, she did my pedicure. For $38, I was livid that my calluses and heels were not scrubbed to remove the dead skin. She told me that would be the spa pedicure for $45. What??? I have never ever NOT had my calluses taken care of even when I've had the special pedicures for $25 at other places. Doesn't matter that they gave me 15% off for my next visit. I am not going back. Even if I have to drive 25 miles one way, I'm going back to Scissorhands in Oak Lawn. They have much better stylists and services. read more
