My stylist, with whom I believed we had a good relationship, CALLED ME AT HOME, following my making the appointment and told me my ideas were "stupid." What she was suggesting doubled the price of an already price-y haircut. Ladies, you can do better and save yourself the grief. Management cares ONLY for filling "time slots" and is totally indifferent to the very real harassment their greed inspired phone calls cause in a home dealing with severe illness. Cold, avaricious, unresponsive to customer needs and unique situations. Aggressive marketing tactics by mngmt. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Will not forget either the rude, presumptuous UNWANTED call or the equally self immersed, totally selfish attitude of management. Wish all we were dealing with was hair. Mine was a very difficult experience and we were stunned at the highly unethical, unconscionable marketing tactics directed toward senior citizens. read more

My hairstylist, after being with her over 20 years, had to leave the business so I had to look for another stylist. I just happened to find this place by chance and my wife and I gave it try. The owner Karen, gave me a great cut and they even offered me a beer and snacks. I never experienced a salon like this. Then I got a back massage with hot rocks. I couldn't believe it. I was definitely going back. Fast forward about two months when I came back I was told that Karen doesn't normally work in the Salon and I would be getting a different stylist. Obviously I was a bit concerned but Alicia was the bomb! Great cut and she really worked to get my color right. I writing this review as I'm sipping a beer after a great back massage by Hayley. I had an absolutely great experience at sky crafters. The staff was all welcoming and greet each person who walked in the door with a smile. I scheduled an appointment with senior stylist Alicia for my cut. She was extremely helpful and was able to explain her recommendations clearly without trying to push other services. We talked the entire time, which at some places can be very awkward, but she was very natural with it and it was good conversation. Even just stepping into the salon there's a very homey and welcoming, as opposed to the awkwardness of some salons. They are open Sundays and such a relaxing environment. When my go to Salon closed I thought I would never find a new salon... but Stylekrafters has it! read more

I don't like giving negative reviews, however the continued inconvenience of haircuts not coming out even close to what was asked for is very frustrating. To start, I did get one cut here by a master stylist that I loved! When she was not available, the receptionist encouraged scheduling with a different stylist, and I did - I take ownership of this decision. I decided to schedule my wife for a haircut as well as a nice treat for us. I used to do hair and understand the challenges of making someone look like the photo they bring in dependent on their hair thickness, texture, etc. My wife's haircut was so NOT what she asked for we were literally crying from laughing so hard at how poorly it came out. Her stylist seemed rushed between doing other hair to take the time her hair required to finish appropriately. It took me 45 minutes of recutting to get it somewhat like what she wanted. My hair was a pixie cut, and unfortunately ended up shaped more like a men's cut, way too short in the crown, and poorly blended lines on the side and back. My ears were not cleanly cut out. So I'm waiting patiently for mine to regrow, and my wife is just grateful it wasn't too short to fix. I specified I wanted someone experienced in short women's hair, and that my wife has very thick hair... I think we were just put in where they could fit us without considering this. I loved the first cut and the shampoo girls are great! Be wary of who you schedule with! read more

My bridesmaid, my mother, and I used Skippack Stylekrafters for my wedding day hair styles and makeup. I recommend this salon for everyone, and especially brides, for all hair and makeup services. All of the stylists that worked on our hair and makeup were incredibly talented and professional! Lindsay Lovett did my hair and make up and I looked the best I ever have! My mom and my bridesmaids also looked wonderful. The makeup artists and stylists knew exactly how to enhance each woman's natural looks. We all looked like the best version of ourselves and we all felt truly beautiful that day. My friends and family complimented both the hair and makeup during the my wedding reception, and I cannot wait to get our pictures back! Our hair and makeup stayed in place all day long, from the time we left the salon at 12pm until 12am when the reception ended. Every stylist and makeup artist was extremely talented and really easy to talk to. They kept a fun, low-key vibe in the salon so that we all had a really fun morning! There was no anxiety at all. Most importantly for me, this salon knew how to style women with natural curly and frizzy hair, which both my mom and I have. The stylists helped us smooth out our natural curls so that they were a beautiful shape without the frizz. I am still blown away at how well they styled my mom's notoriously difficult corkscrew curls--other salons we have been to were no where near as talented with her hair. As part of my bridal package, we got a breakfast buffet with juice, pastries, and donuts. We brought the champagne with us for mimosas and had a great morning! Comfortable atmosphere; very reasonable pricing for the types of services they offer; great service all around; my hair is smooth and soft and manageable from the brazillian blow-out treatment; Gina was amazing--sets comfortable vibe and actually taught me HOW/WHEN to use products when styling at home. I SO wanted to love this place. Tried it 3 times with 3 different stylists. This last time was by far the worst, with the most experienced stylist. First, the hot stone massages are the best, but the time spent seems to go down with each visit, and definitely varies from person to person. Maybe you should set a timer so that it's the same for all. First stylist, very friendly, said what I wanted, didn't get what I wanted. Tried stylist 2, very nice, added more detail to what I wanted, got even less than from stylist 1. Ok, took 6 months to grow everything out and very excited for my new cut. Get a stone massage for like 20 secs. Boo. Get to stylist, state what I want, show a picture of what I want, she confirms, and then she just cleans up the last mess. Can you imagine growing out your cut for 6 months and getting exactly what you were growing out, even after showing a pic of what I wanted? And for $45. I can only assume that she either doesn't know how to cut or she blatantly ignored my request. For the owner: I am assuming you know that she can cut, so it's up to you if you want to keep someone who blatantly ignores customer wishes. Also I liked how she rolled her eyes when I told her what I do. So rude. If you want to know how to make this up to me, tell me how I can instantly get 6 months of hair growth back. Oh and since she was the manager that day, nice example for the Jr stylist and wash girl. read more

I use Lauren Then Lovett who is a master at coloring and cutting, she always makes me feel joyful when leaving the salon and my haircut is always fresh and sassy.
