Came in for my FIRST EVER Botox injections for my "11's" (the 2 vertical lines between my brows). Laurie (I hope I spelled that right) was SO kind and explained everything. I never felt rushed or pressured. You can tell she knows what she's doing. I was in and out within 30 minutes including: filling out paperwork, asking her questions, getting numbing cream & the actual injections. Pain was a 1 or 2 on a scale of 1-10. I was able to go to an interview an hour after w no marks. Their overall salon vibe is clean and cute & they offer many other things ~ I'll attach a picture. DO NOT GO HERE! I went to see Lori in June for lip and cheek filler to even out my cheek bones because one side is higher than the other. When she did the filler, she did it at a poor angle, my cheek bled profusely, and would not stop. Once I got home, the area she filled where continued to bleed and turned into a huge scab within a day or two. I took care of the scab by putting neosporin on it daily. Eventually the scab came off and left a scar on the left side of my face. I tried to give a chance to heal, and after the scab healed, I used a compounded cream of hydroquinone and trentonin which I already regularly use on my face. A few weeks after filler with Lori, I followed up with Dr. Cook to even out my lip filler, and rather than fixing it, he just tried to sell me on filler on different areas on my face. When he asked about the scar, I explained what happened. He told me if it didn't clear up to come back to them to get it corrected. I gave the scar 6 months to heal, but it still did not clear up. I went back in November to see Dr. Cook to see what we could do about the scar. He basically told me to go online and order hydroquinone, and then tried to sell me on filler again on different areas of my face. I told him I was already using hydroquinone and it wasn't helping. He did nothing about the scar, and wanted me to spend hundreds on hydroquinone online to correct the scar. I already invested over $1500 at Skinsense on filler. I am not upset about the fact that a mistake was made on my cheek filler, I am upset that I spent this much money already, and they want me to spend more money on correcting a mistake that was made on Lori's end. Dr. Cook also did nothing about it except trying to sell me on more filler. Never go to a medspa that cannot take responsibility and accountability for their mistakes. I will not be returning. read more

First and last time at this salon if I could give a negative star I would! I found a Groupon offer for this place and since, I was in search of a local salon to save on some drive time it was perfect. I made my appointment as usual and received the usual spill about what they offer at the salon and had a pleasant time at the end of the session the stylist(Christen Smith) of course raved about how wonderful the highlights and cut looked well it was bad in fact; it was horrid the highlights looked a bright rust orange and I have dark brow hair so, you could imagine the contrast. I expressed my discontent profusely and she offer to redo on the spot but I was pressed for time and I also did not want to embarrass her around her coworkers. I told her that I would keep it for now and contact her at a later time to reschedule an appointment. I got home that day and my husband laughed so hard he could barely speak I was not happy. The next day I called her no answer and left a voicemail and voice my discontent yet again and expressed the urgency to resolve this issue since; I had a job interview in a few days and wanted to look my best the end of day came and went and no response the next day I called her again and did not get a return call instead she returned a text on Sunday day 3 stating that she would have find a babysitter for her child in order to help me soon. I replied by letting her know not put herself through any inconveniences and to call me on Monday to fix the issues I never heard back I kept calling and no response. I called the Salon directly and they kept telling she was not in. I physically when to the Salon and was going to wait until she should up at this point I was extremely upset words can't describe. I entered the Salon and another stylist was there and I explained the issue the stylist took one look at my head and took pity on me and offered to fix the problem free of charge awesome professionalism but I can't say that about Christan Smith her rudeness and disregard for her profession is unreal. PLEASE BEWARE CHRISTIAN SMITH HAS ANOTHER GROUPON OUT THERE It was clear she could not manage her time properly to the response the coupon/Living Social/Groupon had produced. Oh... the Salon manager did make an attempt to call me and get details she did apologize for her behavior and confirmed my conclusion. I did get some money back but at this point I was owed much more. read more

I am very picky about my hair, it's thick, curly and hard to manage, but I have been going to Skin sense for several years, and used Christian Smith, and she does a fabulous job!! I have many people stop and ask me who does my hair. She goes out of her way to get me in when I need her to, and she helps me out anytime without hesitation. I now am going to her just to style my hair weekly, and do a protien treatment to keep it healthy, as well as my routine color every 6 weeks. I have come to love this sweet girl. She is a very caring and loving person! I would recommend her to anyone with confidence! If she moves away, I'm going with her!!! Lori also is an expert at what she does, I am amazed that we have such top notch services and don't have to drive all the way to Dallas. I have got facials, Botox, spray tans, and even lip injections, (that I thought I would never do), and absolutely loved them all. Lori does everything professionally and keeps me at ease the whole time. I have been more than satisfied with all of the services and love the way my skin looks and feels now! She too is stuck with me for life!!! I now am getting my lashes done there by Veronica, and loving it too.
