I found Inky's back when they were in the shopping center on Calhoun Mem Hwy. I'm from the Philly…read morearea and when I saw them prepping the sandwiches I knew I was home! Their Cheesesteaks are superb either way; "Wid or wideout". Now, if they could just get Frank's soda (black cherry .... Mmmmmm). I tried their hoagie one time and I wasn't super crazy about it. Could've been an off day. One problem with parking at their place in the Silos, it is very limited and neighboring shops are not too friendly to non customers using their parking.

Ok, you ready for this one, hide the woman and children. So was supposed to end up at Silo's…read morebrewery which is right Nextdoor but, Google Maps had it listed as being open and it was not. So decided why not I here, let's try out Inky's you can't go wrong with a good Philly Steal sub. OK here's the bad part no special microbrew beer on tab or in bottle, stuff they have on tap or in bottles is that domestic crap? You know it Bud, Miller etc.. suggestion get some local brew. Just saying. Now back to the food I had ordered the pasta salad. I was thinking it was gonna be more of an oil base or basil pesto type not sure, but it might've been more of a mayonnaise base. Philly was good. I thought the steak had some great seasoning and I enjoyed it. Definitely recommend ordering the small anything bigger than that you are busting a gut or taking a lot home. Onion ring were freash dipped which is a good thing. Size for the steak I really did enjoy the Philly steak and I think you will too great seasoning wonderfully put together beautiful presentation. So when you're thirsty for a grade local craft beer and you find out, the brewery is closed because it's a Monday. Come on over and enjoy some good food.

Stopped into Lefty's West End Tavern for lunch before a concert and had a solid overall experience…read more The location and atmosphere are a big draw. Right by Fluor Field with a fun, lively vibe. We sat outside, which was clean, comfortable, and a great spot to hang out before an event. Service was fantastic. David, our server, was friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable, and really helped elevate the experience. For food, we started with the wings (dry rub and Jamaican jerk). The flavors were decent, but the wings themselves were rubbery and a bit underwhelming, especially considering the price point. One standout though... the ranch dressing. Easily some of the best I've had. The breakfast tacos were good overall, and the chimichurri was fresh and flavorful. I think adding a creamy component would have taken them up another level. The sweet potato fries were fantastic. The chicken and biscuit was decent. The Nashville-style chicken had good flavor, but the tenders were on the smaller side, making the portion feel a bit lacking. The biscuit itself was solid. The tallow fries were also well done, and the Lefty's sauce was a nice addition. One unique touch at the end. You're given the option to send a postcard, and they handle the postage and mailing for you. A really fun and memorable detail. Overall, a good spot with great service and atmosphere, though some of the food execution and portion sizes could be improved.
