Brittany styled my hair, and she did an equally amazing job. I couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out! Both Camryn and Brittany were incredibly professional, friendly, and talented. They made the entire experience so comfortable and enjoyable, which made my special day even more memorable. I highly recommend The Beauty Studio Inc. to anyone looking for professional hair and makeup services, whether it's for a wedding, special occasion, or any other event. They truly did an amazing job, and I'm so grateful to both of them for making me feel beautiful on my wedding day!

Beauty Studio Inc.'s website advertises a "backup guarantee" and "national coverage with backup…read moreoptions" for weddings and events. Do not take that at face value. Our makeup artist canceled the morning of my sister's wedding, and despite their team scrambling, no replacement could be found in time. My sister, the bride, was in tears hours before her ceremony. Several of us lost part of the morning trying to solve it instead of finishing wedding prep. We were only saved by a friend who happened to be nearby. When I pushed back afterward, the CEO responded personally, explained the timeline, and issued a full refund plus a credit. I'll give them that -- the response was better than most companies manage. But none of that changes what the morning of the wedding actually looked like, and none of it changes that their website promises coverage they cannot always deliver. If you're booking them for a wedding or any event you can't reschedule, ask directly what happens if your artist cancels same-day, in writing, before you pay a deposit. Don't assume the guarantee on their site means what it says. I want to correct the public record here. In response to my review, the owner stated that I "didn't respond" to their email, which is why she posted the CEO's full response publicly. That isn't accurate. I replied to that email on 9/22 at 2:53 PM Eastern, the same day I received it. I'm noting the exact time so there's no ambiguity about what happened. On the original issue: our makeup artist canceled the morning of my sister's wedding with limited notice, and despite the team's efforts, no replacement could reach us in time. My sister, the bride, was in tears hours before her ceremony, and several of us lost part of the morning scrambling instead of finishing wedding prep. The company did refund the service in full and extended two service credits, along with a personal apology from the CEO, and I want to be fair and acknowledge that. But their website advertises a "backup guarantee" and "national coverage with backup options" without disclosing that a same-day emergency can fall outside what that guarantee can actually deliver. If you're booking for a wedding or any event you can't reschedule, ask in writing what their same-day contingency plan looks like before you pay a deposit.

Due to various and unforseen circumstances, I had to change the date of my wedding 3x. If you're a bride, then you know the madness I speak of. In her contract, there was the ability for wiggle room and I was more than willing to pay whatever price (she's beyond reasonable and a total saint in my book). Once it was day of the wedding, she came to my brother's house and we got going. We chatted while she got to work and it felt very comfortable. She took my inspirations to heart and really brought my vision of a bold bridal look to life while still maintaining a delicate softness. I have never felt more beautiful in my whole life. I did a ton…read moreof research and decided to go with Tayjah for my hair after seeing her work on previous clients. I felt nervous about my hair even before I went in because her texts got increasingly dry and short the closer it got to my scheduled appointment. I wanted to cut my hair short by a few inches after having long hair for a while. I had to tell her that I want to see how my hair looks by cutting an inch at a time. I stopped asking her to cut it shorter because it was not looking any better. After she cut and blow dried it, my hair looked uneven and choppy. Usually hair stylists give you a mirror to see your hair from behind but not this time. I didn't know how it looked from the back until after the appointment. After she blow dried my hair, my ends were heavily swayed to the left. I grew more suspicious that she didn't care about my hair. I asked her to curl it hoping it would fix the uneven cut but my hair looked even shorter after curling. I thought it looked okay at the salon but after washing my hair and seeing it in its natural state from behind, it's actually more uneven and choppy than I thought. I felt horrible and still regret trusting her with my hair. As for color, I asked for a brown dimensional balayage and showed her pictures before the appointment and day of the appointment. She disregarded any of the pictures I showed her and left streaky random highlights from the 2000s around the base of my head that's not blended in with my hair. I had a bad feeling going in, and it only got worse. I feel embarrassed about my hair and my confidence plummeted. I want my long hair back.
