Jewelry that was put in was the type that inserts from the back and has a ball that screws in from the front. After they had healed and I went to change the jewelry one of the earrings had been screwed on so tightly I couldn't remove it. Stopped in to have them unscrew it. 30 seconds total (using a hemostat to clamp the earring to remove) and she charged me another $10. Nobody mentioned this charge at all when I asked if someone could try to unscrew it or when I was called back to have it done. Great way to drum up extra business. Secure the jewelry so tight you have to return and they have to remove it with a hemostat. Then tack on an additional fee. I've had other friends with bad up-charge experiences too. One friend called to see how much it would to have her ears pierced and was told $50 over the phone. She ended up getting double piercings thinking it would be $100 and walked out with a bill over $300! Be sure to ask what the total charges are before you even sit down and get it in writing if you have to use their services. Or better yet, go somewhere else.

I asked for forward helix and rook, and he explained I don't have the anatomy for a rook. Ok, settled on cartilage to balance out other ear. I've had 12 piercings, numerous being cartilage and never once have I gotten 18 barbells in them? The ones he put in were way too big. Catching on everything. Thought the fwd helix looked odd, so I went to where I've gotten All of my other piercings to have them change the jewelry and look at the helix. The cartilage location and gauge was great, it just needed a flat back post so it could swell, but not move around that much or risk being caught on something. I had to have the helix taken out because it wasn't going to heal in that spot, with a barbell, and it's not what I wanted.

I was having a procedure done shortly after and she also helped in giving me options of coming in to get a glass stud temporarily so my hole did not fill up. I was able to see her to get the glass stud and then to reinsert my original nose stud. She was so kind in explaining everything and helping me with this whole process to allow for me piercing to not close up but also allowed me to be able to get the piercing thru the whole process.

I had been thinking about doing my nose once more, so when we went in with my young niece to get her ears pierced and I saw how calm and chill Morgan was, I decided to get it done. I did inform them that I had gotten a bit faint during past piercings, but forgot about a few other times during blood donation and a skin biopsy when I did totally pass out and was told I had a "bit of a seizure," during those occasions. The piercing went smoothly, but ever since having a child and getting older, I do think my anxiety can peak higher and right when the piercing was done, I felt my body "whoosh," into profound nausea. The next thing I knew, I was waking up out of a quick dream and found out I had passed out and seized pretty dramatically. My sister-in-law and the kids saw the whole thing, so it really meant a LOT that Morgan was calm and assertive through the whole thing. I call ahead the very next day; the individual that answered (around noon) said she had availability if I came up in an hour; I came up a few minutes prior to an hour, to be safe; the piercer greeted me and let the artist know I was waiting. Forty minutes of waiting, the artist finally comes to acknowledge me and tells me it'll be at least another hour, maybe two. (You can leave if you want or wait.) again, very disinterested. I've Now booked the tattoo 40 minutes away with an artist that actually seems to want the work. I would not recommend this place, at all. *I do have names of each person I spoke with, however, I'm not going to sit and name drop; if you like this place, good for you.*

He added that he likes to "put a little of my own art" on every tattoo that he does. Within the tattoo, there was an image of a world map in which he left out a chunk of North America. I asked him why he did so, and the response was "this is the google stock image" (remember- couldn't use AI but apparently uses google). Would not recommend this artist whatsoever. (Pictures added- black & white AI vs. actual skin result). Erika on the other hand, BEST ARTIST I'VE EVER HAD. Hands down. She completed my Star/moon design on my back & my dreamcatcher on my shoulder. Our conversations were great, she added or changed every detail that I asked for before beginning the tattoo, and was very intent on making sure I liked the final product. Today, I finally decided to get my septum pierced, after wanting one for well over a year. I have a…read moredeviated septum which means that it's slightly crooked and I knew that it was going to require somebody that had skill. I have broken my nose two times in the past in just ridiculous situations that I won't mention and I went in for a consultation with Joey Caminiti today to see what he had to say about the possibilities. I have spent a lot of time at tattoo and piercing shops as my ex-husband was a tattooist. I was very impressed by the shop. It was super clean- even the bathroom is spotless. I wasn't wearing anything that showed that I happen to be heavily tattooed and probably looked like your basic soccer mom walking in the door. I was treated just like anyone else would be treated - everybody there was incredibly kind and Joey was fantastic. Unfortunately, despite surgeries before, my septum is just crooked enough that it threw him off by a millimeter or two. He wasn't happy with the placement and so we went ahead and took it out and made plans to try again in a week. In the meantime he insisted that I if I wanted some other sort of piercing that he would really like to do one for me for free for my trouble. I have never seen a piercer do that before and I thought it was incredibly good business and by doing that I ended up getting started on an ear project that I have had planned for years. Now he's going to have me coming back to him at least three more times for that. It was good business practices and he was honestly the coolest piercer I've dealt with and I've been dealing with piercers for over two decades all over the country from San Francisco to Miami. The tattoo work that I saw at the shop really exceeded my expectations! I will definitely be coming back there for much more work as I have a cover-up I need to do and I need to get started on my long awaited sleeve. I think I made a new friend and definitely found a new place that I am very comfortable going to as a female and without feeling a need to bring a friend for "moral support". It's just a kick ass joint! Go see Joey! He is a really well-versed, very smart and very talented piercer! I can't wait to get this septum taken care of! And I love that he's not worried about trying again. He's very confident in his abilities and I really find that comforting as I am the proverbial pin cushion in this situation. As stated before, he also did the piercing gratis because it didn't work out the first time. I will definitely be going back there!

They set me up with Kat and she explained the whole process, the pain level of the area where my tattoo would be, and explained the pricing. She accommodated me on a non-traditional work day. The facility is beautiful and clean. I felt the materials used were safe and the environment sanitary.
