What a fantastic experience and I cannot wait until my next hydro facial! While the outside medical center is a bit old school and rundown looking, the inside of her spot is so open, welcoming, and nicely fragrant. She instantly picked up on how I was kinda hoping for a quiet facial and told me to just relax and be peaceful - then her technique was so rhythmic and gentle that I honestly almost fell asleep! I was so amazed and satisfied with how my skin looked afterwards that I booked my next appointment right then and there. I'm so happy I trusted the reviews of other Yelpers and came here - please give Robin and the other owner a chance and you'll become happy loyal customers. Thank you so much, Robin!! read more

I've been seeing Robin and Shelby for a little over a year now, and my skin has completely transformed thanks to their care. When I first came in, I was dealing with pigmentation and melasma, dullness, early signs of aging, and occasional breakouts. Now my skin is healthy, balanced, and genuinely glowing, my pores are tiny, my breakouts are rare, and I finally feel confident without makeup. Friends have even commented that I look radiant and glowing, and more than one has told me I look younger now than I did in photos from five years ago. That alone speaks volumes about the results! Robin has such a positive, calming presence that instantly puts you at ease, and Shelby is wonderfully down-to-earth and easy to talk to. They're both fantastic listeners and truly take the time to understand your skin and your goals. I never feel pressured into extra treatments or products, everything they recommend is thoughtful, personalized, and based on what will actually benefit my skin. Another thing I love is how they walk you through every step of the process. They explain what they're doing, why they're doing it, and how to care for your skin at home so you can maintain results long-term. Their educational approach has made a huge difference. If you're looking for estheticians who are knowledgeable, gentle, and genuinely invested in your skin's health, Robin and Shelby are absolute gems. I couldn't recommend them more! read more

I've been going to Skin with Robin for over two years now so I'm a loyal client. Both Robin and Shelby are amazing. Robin healed my skin. Her treatments are relaxing and fantastic. And she knows exactly what my skin needs with easy to follow skincare routine. I was constantly dealing with mad deep breakouts despite the thousands of dollars I've spending on skincare. It was red and sensitive all the time. Fast forward to Sept this year I just got married at my destination wedding - my makeup artist and hair stylist complimented on my skin nonstop. If you want to invest/treat in yourself with glowing unmatched results - this is the place! read more

I found Robin a few years ago when I was struggling with some hormonal acne. I had felt like I tried everything -- accutane, prescription topicals and other meds, etc-- but decided to give this program a try. I had biweekly facials and received a full skin care regime to do at home. The program worked wonders!! Robin was there every step of the way providing adjustments to my skin care routine as needed. I came to robin after years of relying on accutane. I was off of it for about two years and trying products from Sephora that others have recommended. My skin was really dry and dull, while still having acne. I was just about to head back to my dermatologist when I found robin on Yelp. Her approach is very holistic. I did her acne treatment which may seem steep at first but you get to see her 6x with products provided for the most part! You also get 24/7 access to her for the 12 weeks you're working together. (-: I ended up paying less than I would at my derm and my skin has never felt better without taking meds. She also sent info on how to heal acne from the inside out. She was always on time with appointments and really sweet. You can tell she cares about your skin health. Her room is so peaceful I almost fell asleep through extractions (which were always very painful at the derm- but she has a magic touch). I can't say enough good things about her. I highly recommend her! She's very knowledgeable and loves what she does and it really shows. The single photo is what my skin currently looks like. I've never had a glow this good! read more

I had another skin treatment with Robin yesterday. Let me assure you that she is the real deal of skin care. Previously, I had a facial that was awesome.....yesterday, I went for a back treatment and I am so glad I did. Black heads and clogged pores going in and fresh skin and the deep cleaned feeling coming out. Robin's attention to every detail is what makes her so different. Her studio is so cute and clean, I felt at ease immediacy. She also follows every Covid 19 protocol. If you are looking for the very best in skin care, this is your place! You can thank me later!! read more

I feel compelled to write a review because Robin is the best. I decided to get some affordable insight from a nutritionist this year for the first time in my life and I'm so glad I did. She's been helping me with my nutrition virtually this year and changed the way I approach diets in the future. I was always back and forth as an all or nothing kind of guy in terms of my nutrition but Robin helped me find a sustainable balance and helped me stay on track and helped me not feel so guilty when I slack so that I don't lose sight of the end goal. She has wonderful insights. Can't recommend enough. Also her head almost exploded when I told her I haven't washed my face since the 90s. My lack of skincare knowledge is astounding, but it's 2020 men, we can get pedicures and facials and there's nothing weird about it! Definitely recommend connecting with Robin if you're in the Long Beach area. read more

I am new to the Long Beach area and was referred to Robin by a friend. Due to Covid I was only able to get a face and Brazilian wax, which she made me feel so comfortable during. I expressed some concerns that I have with my skin, and she explained a lot of skin problems start in your gut and offered me a virtual nutrition consult so we could talk more in depth about it. I'm excited for the consultation and to create a nutrition plan with someone who doesn't feel pushy and shows she genuinely cares. read more

Robin is the best esthetician ever! I am quite the skincare junkie and Robin's wealth of knowledge and expertise in all things skin is truly marvelous. She has the touch of an angel and every time I've had a facial with her my skin glows for days.I have been to so many different estheticians and Robin surpasses them all. I don't mind driving from the SFV all the way to Long beach because that's how good she is. She uses great products, has a very holistic approach to skincare and gives out free samples that would benefit you. She is not only an amazing esthetician but she is also an incredible, sweet, caring, kind, beautiful person inside and out. I have seen incredible results from getting treatments from her... after my first facial I saw a very marked reduction in redness on my cheeks. Her products are never irritating to my skin even though my skin is very sensitive/irritation prone. She is truly special and one of a kind. Love you, Robin! read more
