Found it a little odd that there was a guy in street clothes just working on a laptop in there esp since they say no cell phones. Hot tub is very small but heated pool is nice. Outdoor fireplaces and chairs as well. Reception area isn't confusing like some have mentioned. When you enter, there is a check in desk straight ahead. They DO tell you to bring a swimsuit if you check your voicemail. But also, who doesn't check spa amenities before you go. Tips Signage isn't great - Spa is past the main hotel building (turn right and follow signs to self parking) Make sure you check your locker combo before you lock it. I didn't and then didn't know what it was and had to ask for help. I do think individual keys would be easier just bc I'm the type of person to forget which locker number I am

Unfortunately as I was pulling in the manager called the let me know my masseuse had called in sick and they could only rebook my massage to start 1.5 hours after the original time. I was disappointed, but I made the best of it and thankfully had a flexible schedule that day. I ended up ordering tea and lunch from the Tea Bar. Unfortunately the matcha was out of stock, but I opted for another green tea and the crab cake. It was raining the day I was there so I didn't end up using the pool. I really like my facial with Ruth. She was amazing and had lovely energy. I would definitely rebook. My massage was okay, but despite a few requests for more pressure, I was told that was the max she could do. I have had a lot of massages, but have never encountered that before

Was referred to this practice by my former cosmetic dermatologist in San Francisco after they…read morerelocated. Have been to this office several times to enjoy their Signature (and Deluxe) Hydrafacials. The process feels great and my skin looks great afterwards. The offices are so bright and clean, it's a very relaxing atmosphere. Aesthetician Mae (and previous aesthetician Patricia) are very good at what they do including making suggestions/recommendations about your skincare. Highly recommend coming here for hydrafacials and other skincare needs.

My family of four has been going to Southern Marin Dermatology for years, and we have generally had…read morevery good experiences with the doctors and nurses. Unfortunately, our experiences with the front desk have been consistently frustrating and seem to be getting worse. The most concerning experience occurred when my husband was diagnosed with melanoma. After receiving such a frightening diagnosis, we waited and waited for an appointment and for information about what would happen next. We were frustrated by the lack of communication and ultimately contacted UCSF, where we were able to get an appointment quickly and received a clear explanation of the diagnosis and next steps. We've had other frustrating administrative experiences as well. I handle the medical scheduling for our family because my husband has a demanding work schedule. When I called to make an appointment for him, I was told that he needed to sign a HIPAA authorization form. I asked if they could email the form so he could sign it, but I was told he had to come into the office in person just to sign it. This seemed unnecessarily difficult. More recently, before making appointments, the front desk required us to pay outstanding balances immediately--including one bill we had not even received yet. We use an HSA to pay our medical expenses, so being required to make an unexpected payment on the spot was particularly frustrating. We have stayed with Southern Marin Dermatology because we appreciate the doctors and nurses and believe they provide good medical care. But dealing with the front desk has become increasingly difficult. I hope the practice takes these concerns seriously and improves its communication, billing practices, and overall administrative experience. Good medical care deserves an equally professional and compassionate front-office experience.

This place is terrible. Ritual Spa is not a spa, it is a room on a busy street in Sausalito located…read moreabove a clothing store and a cafe. We were surprised to discover there were no amenities, no wellness center, no hot tub, no sauna, just a room that reeks of chemical air freshener. (Other yelpers have also noted the stench in this place.) The environment is not relaxing as advertised. Quarters are very cramped. Perhaps most concerningly, while most massage places have allowed us to select our masseuse, Ritual prohibits it. I was required to book via a third-party website and there is no option to select your massage therapist. They just assign you someone. If you want a woman for purposes of safety and comfort, too bad, you get who you get. If you book here you will pay $250 (with taxes, tip etc) for a cheap, oily massage, as I did. According to the menu we were handed, things that are normally included in massages - for example, targeting places of pain - are an extra cost "add on," which is absurd. The massage itself was terrible, we were soaked in oil afterwards and so was our clothing. Pants were ruined. This place is a total rip off. Be wary of anyplace that has many 5 star reviews from "new" yelpers who have never written reviews before. They have no actual details or info and may not be legit. P.S. The owner routinely harasses yelpers who write authentic reviews. (There is no rule that reviews have to be from this week. Nor are yelpers required to disclose the time and date of their visit. That's just creepy. The owner would be wise to heed constructive feedback rather than abusing reviewers.) Skip this place.

We both got swedish massages with medium pressure. The pressure was very light for both of us and it didn't feel like it truly relieved much tension. Neither of us felt very relaxed after the service. However, the biggest thing for me was the sheer amount of oil used. I left with my skin feeling wet and my hair became incredibly oily from all the oil on my shoulders and neck. I want to feel moisturized after a massage but I was literally soaked in oil and I spent the rest of our anniversary with my hair looking practically wet from all of the oil. I went to a nearby cafe and used their sink to wash the oil out of my hair and it was still so oily. I've taken a shower now and I am still oily!! My phone is covered in it too. Lastly, I also got the jet lag eye treatment and it was just a small eye sheet mask for $15. Needless to say, we don't plan to come back. Very sad it didn't work out better.
