I had an amazing facial with Joy. I wasn't sure what I needed other than my face felt as though it needed more "vibrancy" to it, for lack of a better term. She evaluated my skin under a magnifying lamp and suggested an Oxygen Facial for my needs. It is now the next day and my skin feels plump, soft, hydrated and glowing. I cannot stop touching it and this is my go-to facial and skin expert! She recommended the HA5 for me as well which I feel will maintain results or at least improve hydration until my next appointment in 4 weeks. I highly recommend Skin Renewal Center and Joy. I had Botox done here for the first time locally wanting to give my $ local. I had maybe 10% difference couldn't tell at all that I had Botox done. Paid 400$ with little to no improvement. I have had it done in Sacramento previously and had AMAZING results. Returned a month or so later for the injector to look at it, the owner Sharon (Hanna) I was told incorrectly by staff her name was contacted and she held no responsibility at all. The owner would not help with the situation other than me paying more for more Botox. Do not do business with this company. The saddest part was I have been going through cancer treatment for the past couple of years and wanted to do something for myself, the injector knew and they still wouldn't help after spending $400 bad customer service! Melissa was fantastic! The massage was very relaxing and I felt rejuvenated afterwards. She helped my chronic back pain. I had my first facial in a long time, and chose Skin Renewal based on Yelp reviews and a yelp coupon. My face was congested, I was breaking out, and I just needed a little treat. The room and bed were very comfy, clean and serene. I am picky about cleanliness - if a place doesn't seem clean, it's hard for me to relax and enjoy myself. No problem with that at all here. The facilities are a pleasure to be in. Tess did my facial, which was very good, both relaxing and effective. She talked me through each step, closely examined my pores, did a good cleaning, extractions, mask and a peel. Over the next couple weeks my skin became noticeably more luminous and even. Tomorrow I go in for round 2, which I'm really looking forward to. Update: maybe they were having a bad day, or maybe I just seemed like a sympathetic listener (which I usually am), but during my second visit the two employees I spoke to both shared some of the stresses or irritations they'd had with their day. I purchased a groupon for the IPL laser and peel combo. This laser treatment made zero difference in my skin. I had an IPL laser treatment at a different Medspa years ago and the outcome was much better. My skin actually turned darker in my hyperpigmented areas and sloughed off over the course of a week or so. I had nice, fresh, new skin revealed. Not sure if the laser machine at Skin Renewal Center is old or turned down to the weakest setting, but it did nothing to my skin for my hyperpigmentation. When I go for a skin treatment, I'm expecting a relaxing experience. During the laser session, the nurse was trying to sell me on buying a package. I understand that a business needs to up sell, but wait until after the session is over to try to sell me on more treatments. It was even worse when I arrived for the peel. The esthetician handed me a brochure within 30 seconds of me laying on the table. It was a rather rough and lazy technique when applying the products. She was rough with the towels in my face. At the end she swiped a giant blob of Vaseline type product across my mouth and it felt like a mountain of sloppy petroleum just dumped on my lips. I didn't want to open my mouth to speak because that would mean I'd get it in my mouth and in my teeth...it was that much. Just such an unpleasant experience. On top of that, the peel "treatment" lasted less than 10 minutes! Not relaxing, very rushed and I would not return. I just got the impression that they are pumping mass Groupon deals through this business and don't care to attract repeat customers. read more

It was a great price and great way for me to try both the laser and peel for the first time. The laser is for people who have sun damage. The esthetician said that another 20 min are for cleaning the room for another customer. ????? During the procedure she didn't wear gloves, or wash her hands before starting the facial, and it's really shocking! Extremely unprofessional esthetician and environment! Gloves reduce hand contamination by 70 to 80 percent and prevent cross-contamination and infection. While the risk seems relatively remote in a spa or salon setting, pathogens cannot be seen by the naked eye. Simply unacceptable!!! read more

I would have given zero star if I had the option. This place is horrible unprofessional and poor customer service. If it was not for the package of 6 sessions i purchased I wouldn't have returned back after the first visit. I have laser hair removal done there. I live in Vacaville and working full time so my optimal visit hour would be on the weekend. But they said they only have one opening on Saturdays every month. Sometimes I couldn't not make it on a particular Saturday then I had to wait for a whole month. And It was a nightmare to make an appointment with them unless you have to call them 1000 times a day then maybe they will pick up the phone and answer you. Changing appointment will be even worse because the limited opening and hard phone calls. And this is not the worst. The worst is the service they provide especially for laser hair removal. I had SUMMER as my operator during the week. Yes, sometimes I couldn't make it on a weekend so I had to run to there after work from vacaville before they close their door. Summer is so unprofessional. Since my appointment with her was the last on that day. So every time when I got to there for my session all she wanted was to get it done within a second so she could get to go home. Every time she left earlier than me after my treatment. Because her lack of patience and care, I still had like 80% hair left after 6 sessions because during each treatment the operator should go over the area couple times with different laser power level. But she only went over once and fast. I requested her to go over twice. All she gave to me was excuses. I had laser hair removal done somewhere else so I'm pretty familiar with it and how it works. But her excuses were that the area is different, hair grow differently, I did not return to the last session within 8 weeks or so. Her attitude was so rude until I couldn't tolerant anyone and changed my last session with a different nurse. So I would not have wasted my $500 on this scam. I've since come back for massages from Melanie, as well as a facial with microdermabrasion before my wedding. Staff members are nice. Melanie, the massage therapist, is superb! I always unintentionally manage to doze off during a *deep tissue massage* no matter how hard I try to stay awake. Hurts so good!
