Basically, I have a trip coming up in April, and I called LaserAway to see if they had any specials going on right now for Botox and filler. When I called in, the representative transferred me to the manager Amanda to talk about the specials and to book the appointment. We then booked the appointment and I immediately paid for the service because Amanda said that the discount would not last long, so I made sure to book it so that I wouldn't miss out on the discount. Anyways, a few days went by, which allowed me some time to think about the purchase, and that's when I realized that I should call to cancel the service for right now and request a refund. I get work done at LaserAway all of the time, so I could come back at a later time to book something else if I choose to. Anyways, I spoke with a representative about canceling my appointment and to request a refund. The rep. reassured me that a refund was possible as well since I did not use the service at all, but she told me that I would need to speak with Amanda since it was her that scheduled the appointment. I then spoke with Amanda to cancel the appointment and to request a refund. Amanda told me that she can give me store credit, but not a refund. I asked why she didn't tell me about the no refund policy before charging my card and she really had nothing to say about it. Overall, this is horrible customer service! Be aware of this place and of people like her because they're incredibly desperate for money and will scam you for anything.

She noticed I had some scaring (my body scars very easily) from the last time I visited her so she fixed those areas and made sure I wouldn't scar this time around. I recommend going to her even if you have to travel a bit out of your way, it will be worth it.

At that point, I was informed that they would not be able to perform the microneedling treatment because there was no nurse available due to a call-out. While I completely understand that staffing issues happen, the office knew about the nurse's absence before my appointment. A phone call beforehand would have saved me the trip and allowed me to make other plans. The main reason I scheduled the appointment on that specific day was because it fit my schedule, so it was very disappointing to learn only after arriving that treatment would not be possible. Based on this experience, I won't be returning. Perhaps it was a blessing in disguise, but I expected better communication and respect for my time.

I went in for a…read moreconsultation and got talked into getting a dermabrasion facial and was told I'd probably need 10 to clear up my skin. I was told as well that my skin would get worst but slowly get better as I had facials. Well it definitely got worst after the first one. Vivella has a cancellation policy where you need to cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment. That being said, for my second facial they e-mailed me I believe a day or two before my next appointment to confirm. They then emailed me the night before my appointment to cancel. I didn't see it till the next morning and came to my appointment anyways and waited outside for maybe half an hour before I checked my email. The following time Mary who did my one facial and consolations came late and talked me out of getting a facial. Once again my skin was pretty bad and said I didn't need it. I honestly think she just didn't want to do it. I ended up never coming back and ended up going on acutane, against her advice, and my skin has never looked better (with some scaring still but no acne or redness). Vivella has been very unprofessional in how they handle their clients by forgetting about them and emailing last minute when their clients have to pay a fee to cancel their appointments in advance. Service wise I couldn't really say because I never completed my treatments but unprofessional in how they conduct their business.

The locker room is luxurious with lots of amenities, including 2 showers (they have on-wall shampoo/conditioner/body wash), 3 bathroom stalls, 1 steam room, oodles of lockers which have your robe and rubber slipper shoes and space to put all your stuff during your treatment, and all of the self-care goodies near the 2 sinks (mouthwash, body lotion, makeup remover, hair spray and gel, clean combs and brushes, an aromatherapy machine) as well as flavored water. They use nice towels to dry your hands, and they have body towels if you take a shower. The lounge space is co-ed, with loungers, chairs, 2 flavored waters, 2 types of small bite-size pastries (blueberry bread and cranberry orange scones), and they offered me hot tea. The wall nearby appears to be stained-glass. Wowsers, what an experience. It's absolutely worth it. Spend the money on yourself, indulge, and you will never regret it. I was surprised by how few veteran-owned nail salons there were, so when I found Trendy Nail & Spa, I knew that was the place. I stopped by in person to make a reservation for four. The owner was was incredibly welcoming, and even though they were fully booked on what looked like a very busy Saturday, he made room for my group. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was warm, welcoming, and relaxing. Even with a full salon, the place never felt rushed or chaotic. Everyone was friendly, professional, and were genuinely happy to be there, which I knew it would contribute to my friends' experience to be even more enjoyable. The ladies had an amazing time, and their manicures and pedicures turned out absolutely beautiful. The attention to detail and customer service were outstanding. This place gets a 10 out of 10 from our military family. If you're looking for a salon with great people, a great atmosphere, and top-notch service, Trendy Nail & Spa is the place to go. Semper Fi! I am thrilled with Skin Nirvana and thought I would let others know! This center is very high-end, not only in appearance, but in quality of care and service as well. Having worked for doctors for many years, it was refreshing to have a doctor that was so thorough in answering questions, so well informed, and that had the latest and greatest technology at affordable prices. I have been to Dr. Han about 5 times now and each time I have always received a follow-up call a few days later to see how I was doing and to see if I had any questions or concerns. It is evident that he genuinely cares about his patients. If this weren't the case, he wouldn't be as booked as he is! As an added bonus, Dr. Han understands that elective procedures can be costly and he always will tell me what is the "best bang for my buck", what current incentives are being offered by the manufacturers, and what we can do to give me my desired results within my budget. Luckily, I live very close to the center but I would certainly drive quite a distance if I had to because Dr. Han has earned my trust. In my opinion, Skin Nirvana deserves nothing short of 5 stars. I am currently 37 y/o Asian who has a lot of sun damage and acne scarring from years of playing on the beach and french fries from IN and OUT. Both Dr. Hans were completely professional, honest not to mention really nice-- and their staff too! They recommended Deep FX/Active FX a resurfacing fractional laser. I had so many questions and they answered them all. They let me take my time. I called around and found out they are the premier medical office that performs this procedure in orange county. They also told me because of my darker skin type there was a chance of developing a darker skin " hyperpigmentation" which thank God did not occur. My acne scar has improved significantly and skin is smooth and fresh. I am schedualed to come back and repeat the procedure in 6 months. I am continuing to use the Obaji skin lightening kit as well which supposedly keeps the pigment down. I love the results. It has been a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend ! I have been going to Skin Nirvana for over 2 years with great results. I did a series of Levulan IPL too but had really great results. My skin is smoother and tighter with most if not all the sun freckles gone. Its much better procedure than IPL for sure. Let me also say that I am also a patient of Dr. Han at his private medical office for over 8 years. He is the most caring and compassionate physcian, I have ever met and I consider him part of my family. He saved my life in 1999 by diagnosing a breast cancer that 2 other doctors told me was"nothing" I ended up having a masectomy and chemo therapy afterwards. Dr. Han was with me and my family through the whole ordeal. read more
