To start off, this office is busy.. so don't be surprised that there will be a wait to schedule. From my perspective, I see the hold time as more of a stamp of approval for a surgeon who is well sought after. And he surely is! Dr. Healy was on my radar for 13+ years before my surgery. After 2 children and the aftermath of breastfeeding, I have always wanted to correct the remaining "two problems"... haha! Of course, having cosmetic surgery is a huge decision, due to the risk and high price tag, so being extremely picky about your surgeon is the most reasonable thing to do. Now that I've reached my one year anniversary, I can say with full confidence - I AM SO BLESSED TO HAVE FOUND THIS OFFICE! My gosh... I have read reviews for other surgeons and I am so grateful for Dr. Healy and his staff for holding up their end of the bargain. From IG, I was taken to Indulge's website where I was able to book my appointment with one of their LMTs, Terry. She's been with Indulge since the beginning and I think that says a lot about the company, which actually seems more like family. Terry is phenomenal and wears multiple hats; she can even do your lashes! Don't wait until the last minute to book, though, she's in high demand, especially for her lymphatic massage. Terry took the time to listen, made sure I was comfortable, had warm hands (who doesn't love that during a massage?!), and made me feel relaxed almost instantly. Love her personality and glad I booked a bundle with her and can't wait for my next appointment. The spa is clean, nicely decorated--pampas and fringe pillows sure jeuje a place up, free parking (handicap accessible stalls and ramps as well), and outside the hectic activity downtown Honolulu and Waikīkī offer. I do not recommend Dr. Ky Le or this office based on my experience…read more I initially came in for significant shoulder and spine pain. X-rays were ordered, but the results were never properly explained or reviewed with me in a meaningful way. Instead, I was quickly recommended a steroid injection in my shoulder and was told it would resolve the issue. I was even told he would give the same injection to his own wife if she were in my condition, which strongly influenced my decision to proceed. I moved forward based on that confidence. At one point, a lower lumbar steroid injection was also suggested, but I declined that treatment. I also specifically asked if I could continue going to the gym and was told "no problem." Based on that guidance, I signed up for a one-year gym membership and paid for a personal trainer. Within a few months, my pain returned and worsened. I scheduled a follow-up appointment on 10/22/2025 but waited approximately 55 minutes with no communication or update. I ultimately left without being seen. Despite this, my insurance (HMAA) was still billed for the visit, which I am now disputing. The office environment also raised concerns. The practice is located in a retail-style complex rather than a traditional medical setting, and the front desk area felt disorganized and overcrowded, with multiple staff members/helpers gathered around the main desk without a clearly structured office setup. I also had concerns about patient privacy during check-in. During my visit, at one point, the doctor took out his phone and showed me information about another patient he had assisted, which felt completely unrelated to my care. The only positive part of my experience was one medical assistant (a young male staff member), who was professional, respectful, and efficient. After seeking a second opinion, I was advised to immediately stop going to the gym. That physician identified a significant calcium deposit in my shoulder (about the size of an almond) and ordered further imaging, including an MRI, I had a lavage treatment to remove the almond-sized calcification. I was also informed I have lumbar stenosis (L1 and L2), which had not been clearly explained to me previously, and I was referred to physical therapy. Looking back, I regret not trusting my instincts about Dr. Ky Le and his office from the start. I also feel that the Hippocratic Oath to do no harm was not reflected in my care. My condition worsened and I ultimately required further treatment after his care. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Dr. Ky Le or this practice.

I decided to schedule a one-hour with Kalani since my usual masseuse wasn't available. The beginning was fine; she was friendly & asked what my primary concern was. I explained that I was moving furniture around my home & was pretty sore from it. But for some reason, she didn't believe me. I don't know why I would lie about that, but she kept reiterating that my back muscles were too tight to just be from moving furniture. Okay... Then my massage quickly turned into her therapy session. She complained about her husband getting a new dog that she didn't want, about her son not visiting enough, about her clients mom getting hit & killed by a car, etc. I couldn't get a word in edgewise! At that point, I honestly thought she either had far too much caffeine, or was on the effects of speed. Eventually, the conversation veered towards me. And every single thing I told her about my life was belittled or just plain ridiculed. At one point I mentioned eating spam, which made her state she didn't eat pork because she didn't want to become a porker. Good to know. She also emphasized my butt was very small like I didn't have a butt, and that I should do squats because people like big butts now. Wonderful thing to hear when you're naked under a very thin sheet. At the end of my session, I pasted on a fake smile, thanked her, told the receptionist the massage was amazing to avoid any further conversation, and quickly left. I was too tired, too worn out, and too despondent for a confrontation. I just wanted to go home. I left my session stressed, self-conscious, and like I had to defend my own life choices to a complete stranger for an hour straight. My sincerest apologies to all the other amazing massage therapists I've had in the past, but I will not be returning to Body Mind Spa.
