My massage was amazing! I could tell Cristine was an expert. Not only did she work on my shoulders the most because it was where it hurt, she massaged me from head to toe. It was the first time I experienced cupping and hot stones. I felt like jello at the end of session. Massage is a necessity, not a luxury if you are in pain. I just came back from a trip. Due to airport delays my flights were long- 20 hours one way! My chiropractor suggested that I get a good massage and I went to Christine at C and S Bodywork MedSpa. I'm always on the lookout for new spas on the west side, so I was happy to hear about the opening of C&S Bodywork MedSpa earlier this year. Located in the Aiea Shopping center, the medspa offers facials, massages, laser treatments, medical peels, injectables and more. They also offer discounts off packages of 3 or more as well as VIP memberships. For Christmas, I gifted my daughter a 3 package session for laser hair removal. I was easily able to schedule all three sessions in advance. We arrived to her first appointment where she filled out new patient forms and then was taken to the treatment room where they applied the numbing cream. After about 15 minutes, the doctor came in to complete the treatment. The procedure was quick, pain free and the communication with the doctor was great. This place opened Sept 2025 and Ive seen it and have been meaning to see if they take my insurance because I saw on the door they accept. Ive had the benefit added to my HPH HMSA insurance plan for a couple years now but always felt too intimidated to figure out where to go and if it would work with my work schedule. They open until 8pm, have weekends available so that is a game changer. I finally feel like I can so maintenance massage monthly thats covered by my insurance with a $20 co pay. I have to say Ive had my share of massages and Sophia was one of the best ive had. She was very skilled, treatment was deep but also relaxing. I have booked 60-120 minute deep tissue massages with cupping, twice a month, with Tomomi for about 1.5 years. Since living in Hawaii for about 3 years I have gone through A LOT of massage therapists to find the right for me and I feel as though I'm an expert at this point because I've been getting deep tissue massages for 10 years, twice a month; massages are a mandatory for my self care. I can always rely on Tomomi to give a literal deep tissue massage, for her to be diligent in finding all of the points of tightness and taking the pain away after every appointment. I am military, so... I have severe muscle tightness from neck to toes and severe plantar fasciitis that has led to tearing my left plantar tendon. For the last 3 weeks I had this severe dull ache on the right side of the back of the neck to my right shoulder that no massage gun could reduce the pain, after a 120 minute massage all of my pain was once again gone with Tomomi's expertise. When I have to PCS I will be devastated because I may not find as good of a massage therapist as Tomomi. She is always consistent, positive, bubbly and honest - qualities I now appreciate in a massage therapist.
