Then re-rang the sale and said, "$2.50." I was late for work and wasn't really sure how to respond, it was obviously him trying to pocket $. I paid and left without comment. Tyler has been a client of mine for some time now, and when he mentioned that he was starting up an environmentally friendly car wash service I thought it sounded very difficult to deliver. For the price, I had very little to lose. I told him to give me a call or email about setting up a wash for Saturday (today) and see if he follows through... One-hour later I get this email from Tyler: Hi Dave, Just getting back to you on the car wash. We are washing cars with weekend on Saturday and Sunday. We are available anytime after 4pm on Saturday and any time after 2pm on Sunday. If these times do not work for you we will be available next week also. Thanks, Tyler To get this from a kid in high school who actually follows through on his word was a great start. but when they showed up a few minutes early to their appointment ready to go on Saturday they asked which car, I pointed it out, and off they went. They worked on it for some solid time and came back, and I paid them... Hours later I walk out to my car in the parking lot after work and it was GLOWING! I couldn't believe it! I have taken my car to Brushless Car Wash and Matt and Jeffs in Novato for years, and they haven't done as good of a job as these two young ambitious Marin boys did WITHOUT WATER! I can't wait to let my clients know and get these guys some business. They are professional, friendly, and detailed - what else could I ask for?!
