On 09-8-15 had patio and decking around the pool done by Skeels Resurfacing. After having the work done we noticed the sand sealer lifting from the cracks that was placed in to seal. Also, the decking is showing through. The materials did not stand up as guaranteed and the coloring is wearing and cracking in my driveway, patio and pool decking. The last decking lasted over twenty years before this work was done. I requested that he come out and reseal the sand seal and review the colors that are fading and washing out. Jon was very upset and didn't want to be bothered as he got angry and argumentative. I explained that he needed to take a look at the mess we now have been left with and review what needs to be done to fix it all. He sent someone else (his brother) and wouldn't come to the property because he was mad. Professionalism really lacks here, I wasn't looking to argue I was looking for resolution for the thousands I spent! The sand seal was redone, and is still not holding up. The color couldn't be matched because they ran out of the old product. Everything looks worse that before I even started this project. I can not recommend this company for any work regarding resealing and or materials used seems to only last about a year before more work is needed. After 10,700.00 spent, we gave Jon an opportunity to fix the problems. He said he would have the manufacture evaluate sand seal separating. The reply we got was "DUE TO HEAVY GROUND MOVEMENT THE PRODUCT SEPARATED" This was a fabricated story to get us to think his products were quality and the ground shook so much the product separated. I have never in my life heard of such a thing!! The colors were to be Spanish Brown and Sand, Jon claimed they would darken over time, the driveway and back patio is Orange and Tan. The decking was to be the same, it clearly is Rose and doesn't match at all. Jon also said the deck would be 10 degrees cooler with the application. It is not, there is no difference. Then to add insult to injury Jon told me by phone and email that he would only come out the one time to see if he could fix the problem because he takes no responsibility for the work provided.
