I thought I knew what I wanted but he really helped me figure out what I needed. He was super knowledgeable about each model and what the features were that would serve me best. He wasn't pushy at all and I know I tried on at least 7-8 different pairs and sizes. I have run and hiked for 30 years; but I still learned something today. I highly recommend the foot scan they use. I knew my right foot was a little longer than my left but the scan affirmed that and that my left foot was a little wider. I did though and then I asked for an item which I was alerted before I could finish that it wasn't in stock, and wasn't even an item sold there. I asked out of confusion, "why didn't your store sell them?" She replied because nobody wears them. Immediately I knew this employee had an issue, with something or someone probably herself because I'm somebody and I'm asking you for the item so apparently somebody where's them. Your comp right next door was outta of stock or they didn't have the sizes I needed. I was buying for my entire family. Maybe it's because I wasn't wearing her favorite color because she had red coloring all in her head that looked stank with clearly a stank sarcastic attitude to match. FYI if you are in the customer service business and you refuse to give good or choose rather poor customer service just get out of the business. Times is already bad economy wise. I'm spending money that definitely doesn't grow on trees. The last thing you want is not only for money to not come in, You also don't want people running your future sales away. It's ok maybe it's not for you. Businesses will continue to go out of business unless the management checks the employees bottom line, especially considering the times. There's someone else who needs a job but more importantly actually likes what they do. Not sure if I'll ever be back to shop here, unless desperate.

I went in & wasn't greeted by either of the staff members. They were in their own personal conversation, so I just browsed. I couldn't find anything cute or in my size. I just needed plain black tennis shoes. The one pair I saw looked like someone was walking on the back of the heels, so there's no way I was buying them. I ended up leaving and going to DSW only to buy those same black tennis shoes minus the run down heel. I'm disappointed. There wasn't anything that caught my eye this time around & the staff wasn't even friendly enough to speak when I entered or when I left. So much for customer service. The store was neat and clean though. So, that was a plus.

I guess it's time to be a grown up! Jeans are really funny and you can be completely different sizes depending on brand and cut. So, as much as I hate trying things on, I decided to pop in and give them a test drive. Well, people definitely aren't lying! The jeans are soft, supportive, and definitely high quality. They're thicker than some others that I have from a different brand and I really enjoyed everything about them. I was surprised to find that my normal size fit me very well. The young lady who was working today was very nice and helpful, without being overbearing. My favorite kind of employee interaction! I thought maybe I caught him on a bad day but this has happened EVERY time I've visited this store. He greets non- Black folks with a cordial hello but Black people he just stares at them or walks around the store watching them. I'm guessing he must be the owner because he is always in there. This African gentleman seems to have a disdain for Black people. I will no longer support this establishment. It can seem subtle but having worked in Corporate America for over 40 years, I recognize prejudice no matter how someone tries to cover it.

I find them to have fashionable plus size clothing, that I generally like or even love at times. My only complaint would be the pricing. I only buy from them when it is either on sale or I have a really good coupon (which you can get simply by being put on the mailing list or sign up for emails/text msg.). I find that most of the staff at this particular store are VERY HELPFUL and go out of their way to assist you. They will bring clothes to you in the dressing rooms, hold items that you are going to purchase on the back counter for you, and always greet us with a smile. Great Service! That gets ***** 5 stars!
