At no point did Louie and his partner, Elijah, cut corners or rush to finish. Louie methodically tested everything, tracked down every issue, and made sure every light, outlet, and switch was working before considering the job complete. He also completely replaced my old electrical panel. The difference is incredible. Everything is clean, organized, and meticulously done. He even took the time to clearly label every breaker, something my old panel never had. It may seem like a small detail, but it's the kind of thing that shows how much he cares about doing the job right. What impressed me most was how much pride Louie takes in his work. He treated my home with care, explained what he was doing whenever I had questions, and genuinely wanted everything to be right--not just "good enough." It was also a messy job by nature, but Louie and Elijah left every room (I swear) cleaner than it was before they started. As an unexpected kindness, Louie even helped me with a new ceiling fan while he already had everything open. He not only installed the fan, but also added a very convenient wall switch. This additional item was negotiated on the spot and he was transparent about the cost of the new part and the additional labor. Daniel was good to his word that he would be able to get through everything listed above in one day, which he did. Additionally, he left the areas in which he worked spotless. Daniel guarantees his work for a year and he also checked in a few days after the work was completed to ensure we were happy with his work and did not have any issues. These are small but reassuring measures that would make Daniel my first call in the future for any plumbing repair needs. We have used Lubera most recently to install a humidifier and a new gas furnace among other minor…read moreservices over a number of years. When the humidifier was installed, he quoted us in the $300.00 range. It ended up over $700.00. We paid and bit our lips. In May 2021 the furnace was installed and paid for. In November 2021 we had a problem with a computer board and blower motor after a power outage. According to the manufacturer the parts were covered by warranty. It took our intervention to get the parts needed. We were without heat for a solid month. Finally, on January 26-2022 Lubera came to our home with the part needed to restore our heat. Lubera insisted on being paid for the board. He subsequently got paid over 800.00 for labor and parts. we asked him to go to the manufacturer to be reimbursed for the part and give us credit for what we paid. His answer was "you are lucky they covered the motor". We have crossed this plumber off our list. We will never use him again. He did nothing that is demonstrable to get the parts needed. I had to call the manufacturer and do a conference call with Lubera's wife to get the part shipped. Lubera did not honor his commitment to us.

My hot water tank was leaking so I called Reichert and Sons to come out and help. As usual, they were extremely nice when I called. I paid the service fee of $175 and someone came out the next day. The technician inspected my unit and told me that my pipping was getting old and I could replace the pipes or eventually replace the hot water tank. I asked him how much it would cost for each option and he said he would need to talk to the main office and they would send me a quote and I could decide. The next day I received a $4,000 quote to replace the hot water tank. I called to ask about the quote to just fix the pipes. The woman on the line said she would need to speak to her manager and get back to me. Two days later they sent me the same $4,000 replacement only quote with the last sentence changed to "Tank can not be repaired - replace is the only option." This is not what the technician told me. To be thorough, I called a different company who came out and told me the tank isn't that old and I should replace the pipping. He fixed the pipping for $300 and that was over 4 months ago with no problems since. I am glad I went to a different vendor because trying to cheat people out of money is a horrible way to do business. I haven't asked for my $175 service fee back because I don't want to communicate with unethical people. If you do go to Reichert & Sons, I suggest you get a second opinion.
