This place was my childhood home basically and the fact that it's still around just brings so much joy to my heart. Roller skating is something I've been into for a while and I like to come here to continue supporting the business. $10 skate seshes, but I'm not too sure the price of renting skates since I have my own. You will need $1 in quarters to get a locker. But have multiple just in case you need to open it and close it again. You will need to pay every time. The music is oldies but still a bunch of bops. And they have adult skate nights! It's pretty cool. A little run down and definitely needs an update. But whatever. Still vibey.

I had such a great time last night. The managers are very professional. Also, the DJ was amazing for the adult night on Sunday 8 Pm- 10:30 PM. My husband and I are from Louisiana and trying to keep skating alive! We bring our own Harlick Roller Skates made in California, USA. For the past 10+ years we have made it our goal to skate in each state! We love to JAM, slow walk, free style, and couple dance skate on Adult Skate Night. Also, I enjoy a smooth hard wood floor to dance skate on. This skate floor is not wood! I am not sure what this floor is made from. It is a white hard floor. I was surprised but the floor was exceptional for dancing. Though it was a very busy night the positive groove was intoxicating. The crew here is talented and amazing. I loved the music and enjoyed the snack bar ($5 for 2 pepperoni pizzas and a coke). The Denver area is my favorite place to skate in AMERICA.

Came here for a birthday party for one of my sons classmates last weekend. Pretty dirty place-what do you expect with this type of place? Felt like I went back in time which was cool. The place isn't in the best location and it seems young teens run the place LOL!! Scary!! All the rental skates seem to be falling apart and it's just super grungy. Honestly I think it's cool this place is around still since where I'm from they closed all the skate rinks since it's not "cool" anymore. But man they could crush it if they revamped the place and gave it a nice sanitizing scrub down. I would only go here again for a birthday not willingly on my own. I prefer to stick to ice skating. But if you are looking for nostalgia then this is your spot:).

    Fun!

Twinkling lights, cheerful music, families laughing--it's the kind of place where you half expect Santa to stroll by sipping hot cocoa. The people are wonderful, the setup is magical, and the vibe screams "holiday postcard." And then... there are the skates. These skates aren't just bad. They're a medieval torture device disguised as footwear. I'm convinced Satan himself forged them in the fiery depths of hell, cackling as he added dull blades and ankle-crushing plastic shells. * The boots: Imagine strapping your feet into rigid plastic buckets, lined with inserts so worn they might as well be tissue paper. * The blades: Calling them "blades" is generous. They're more like butter knives that haven't seen a sharpener since the Bush administration. * The experience: I made it a quarter loop before realizing my ankles were auditioning for a horror movie. Every attempt to recover from a slip sent pain shooting in all directions. By the time I reached a bench, I was ready to gnaw through my own shins just to escape. Getting the skates off was its own Olympic event. I tugged, pulled, and prayed, but those boots clung to my feet like a demon possession. * Atmosphere: 10/10 (Hallmark perfection) * People: 10/10 (Friendly, festive, full of cheer) * Skates: -666/10 (Spawn of Beelzebub) If you want holiday magic, The Pond delivers. If you want functioning ankles, bring your own skates--or prepare to sacrifice your soul to the rental counter.

I really appreciate how the rink is set up. The center is clearly marked off, which helps keep people practicing doing middle work from drifting into the main traffic flow. It makes the whole floor feel more organized and safer for everyone. The rink itself feels like it's on the larger side, so there's plenty of room to skate without feeling cramped. Adult nights are especially fun. They lean more into electro and dance music, which keeps the energy up. Pricing is reasonable, and I love seeing how they give back to the community. The last time I was there, they were collecting food donations for a local pantry, which says a lot about the kind of business they are. There's also a back room with video games and a smaller practice space that's separate from the main floor, which is a huge plus if you want to work on something. Around the rink, there's plenty of seating for breaks, with storage cubbies underneath, which is super convenient. Overall, it's a really solid rink with a great atmosphere and a strong sense of community. Definitely worth checking out, especially for adult night.

My wallet appreciates the low $6.75 admission cost for the 1ish hour public skate session. Add another $6 if you plan on renting skates. +2nd star is for the hours. They are one of the few rinks that offers several public skate sessions throughout the day, even on weekdays!! +3rd star is for the league game hours. Sounds silly but when the latest game I have to worry about my BF playing is at 8 pm, I'm a happy girl. Over all the ice is alright. It has it's good days and it's bad days. Weekends are definitely crowded!! I tend to go on weekdays during either the 10 am session or the 1 pm (all depends if I sleep in!) to avoid the crowds. Though during the weekdays you run the risk of school field trips. For the adult rec hockey league experience I would be tempted to lower my rating if this was all that I was basing my review on. I have definitely experienced better. The stands almost always have trash strewn about. Several of the refs just don't seem to pay attention to what's happening on the ice, while another was on a power trip one night calling I don't even know what (he extended a penalty by two minutes because the door to the box was slammed closed, WTF?! You have to slam them to close them.) It seems they let things get a bit out of hand with the games. They offer an online payment option for fees that the team really enjoyed. I'm sure that I'll continue coming here because of the hours public skate is offered, but I look forward to my BF's team moving to some new ice.

A group of six of us went on a Sunday afternoon, and it was crowded, but we didn't have to wait long to get our skates. The way it works is that the ice skating rink is free, but you have to pay to rent skates. If you own your own skates, then, the experience is completely free! To rent skates, you wait outside in front of a little booth and get a wrist and then go to the window next to that one and say which size you'd like. Despite the rink being crowded, the wait for skates was very short. Service was friendly and efficient. The skates weren't the highest quality, and they use ski boot like buckles rather than laces, but I can't complain given the convenience and price. The ice rink gets smoothed over/cleaned using a Zamboni every so often, and when that happens, you can stand by fire pit stands (I'm not sure what they're called?) or sit on the benches right outside the rink. We stayed for about an hour and a half to two hours and had a good time. This is a great activity for families and friends alike!
