The staff is a bit inconsistent. Some are friendly and helpful and some aren't They keep the bathrooms quite clean. The parking situation here is not very good. Of you are lucky enough to snag a spot it's good but the lot fills quickly. Overall I would come back to more events here in the future.

My experience here left a lot to be desired…read more If you are attending a large conference here, please be advised that they DO NOT have sufficient parking for all attendees. You will likely have to take rideshare or find somewhere else far away to park. When I attempted to park upon arriving at the Classic Center, an employee who was stationed outside the parking garage (to let people know it was full) pointed me toward parking for the courthouse a couple blocks away. When I drove over there, a courthouse employee told me that parking there is not allowed unless one has official courthouse business. So not only is their parking area very small, but they do not even give accurate information about where alternate parking can be found. It was incredibly frustrating. I ended up driving around for 30 minutes and finally settling for an expensive lot nearby just so I could get to my conference. Signage within the venue is virtually non-existent and employees are few and far between if you happen to have questions or need assistance. It's like they expect that everyone visiting this place has been many times before and knows the lay of the land, which is decidedly not the case. The sole reason I am giving two stars is because they did not skimp on air conditioning. It was on in full force the entire time I was at my conference, which is beyond necessary given the outdoor temperatures averaging 95 degrees with 80%+ humidity when I was in Athens. I would not have expected the air conditioning situation to go off without a hitch given the remainder of my experience here, but sometimes there are small silver linings.

When you book tickets online, you cannot reserve a skating plastic helper/assistant for children. We arrived 15 minutes early to check in and was greeted with a lengthy line, by the time we got to the counter all the skating plastics helpers were gone, as there were only eight available. There were many teenagers/grown ups using them as MANY KIDS struggled to pull themselves around the wall of the rink. It was a rather warm December day, and while I know the city cannot control the weather or the fact that ice was melting the rink was nasty. I went to the Noon Year's Eve event they held yesterday and had a blast! I brought my younger…read moresiblings and we were unsure how many people would be there but it was a great turnout. We were there for 4 hours and there was a steady flow of people of all ages the whole time. The staff is very friendly and helpful from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. There was also a DJ that got there around 5 and he was great too! He was willing to play songs that we suggested even though he had his own mix to play. They also played tag a few times and a couple of employees hopped into the game too, it was great! The staff were also very interactive with the kids. While skating, I noticed that it looked like a piece of the skate was missing and when showing it to an employee he immediately had me take them off and provided me with a new pair--no questions asked. The facility was clean and well organized, it included a skate rink, arcade, jungle gym, food, and laser tag-- I will definitely return. Just a heads up, you have to pay admission and show rental separately, but they have a lot of events and deals. For me and my siblings, it totaled to about $44.
