First timer . We went all the way from cummings GA . I think it was OK. A regular skating rink but a little crowded. It wasn't very expensive though. About 11$ per kid with shoes. Lighting was good and so was the music. There was a small food shop inside , which was ok . They charge 5$ for skate help thingy , which is useful for someone not knowing to skate. Customer service was slow .. lots of parking available outside . Overall an average experience..

Love this skating rink. I come once a week. I just started roller skating again after not doing it for 5 years and this is a great place to learn. Ive come on a Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday and see alot of the same faces so alot of regulars who are very friendly. Staff is also very nice. I'd definitely recommend this location to anyone!

This place is amazing. WAY cleaner than other local rinks and the customer service is amazing. The owner, Mr Chris, went way out of his way to allow a special day for my kids with a private skate since we are still in quarantine. The ladies who work there are great and very accomodating. I highly suggest this as an option if your kids really need to get out, exercise, and have some fun. Its very affordable (you can split it with your pod) and the kids had the best 2 hours since quarantine began! This may be a regular event for us until the pandemic is over.

This place is located in a semi-dilapidated area. As you enter the main floor, you can feel the humidity overcome you because there is absolutely NO air conditioning. I am not exaggerating. This place is only cooled by large fans. My friends and I were literally sweating as we skated for 3 hours. The whole area was dimly lit as well with flashing lights. Unsure if this is a gimmick to keep lighting costs down. The price was indeed cheap. $7 total ($5 admission + $2 skate rentals). Would I visit this location again? Probably not since it was so hot to skate. By the way, they play really inappropriate music (sexually sensual rap songs) little elementary kids shouldn't hear. (We were there when a kiddie birthday party was in session.) Other than this tid bit, there was a mix of modern pop and 90's songs.

They really should have a height limit to those adjustable roller skating trainers especially if you have a limited amount. The rink never have any available as they rent them on first come basis. Most of the time older kids aged 8 and up are using them to play when my 2 & 3 year olds desperately need them. Management is rude when you inquire about it.

If you're ever looking for something fun for the kids to do, that's also inexpensive Skate Along is one of those places to go. For the 7 of us we got in and rented skates for $42 bucks. Not bad for a group that size. The kids had a blast and want to go back as soon as possible. We went on a Thursday, early afternoon. They were not crowded at all. As a matter of fact we were the only ones there for about an hour. That gave us time to take time teaching and helping our little ones. They opened from 12-5 and then from 6-9. From 12-5 it's perfect for kids, especially if they are beginners and are really young. You don't have to worry about them falling down and getting trampled on or losing them in the crowd and you are still able to get your skate on if you choose to. It wont be my first choice of skating rings to go to as an adult, this was strictly for the kids and their fun and entertainment. So by way of an adult, don't expect too much. The music was good, good enough for the kids and at one point I made a special request just to hear something my grown ears would appreciate. They happily obliged my request with no problems at all. If you get hungry they sell hotdogs and pizza, drinks and slush's. The kids will have fun and you will get cool points. It's a win, win for everyone!

There was also a DJ that got there around 5 and he was great too! He was willing to play songs that we suggested even though he had his own mix to play. They also played tag a few times and a couple of employees hopped into the game too, it was great! The staff were also very interactive with the kids. We looked up different places and Have An Ice Day had the best online presence, and was geographically attractive for all parties in attendance. Conveniently located in downtown Sugar Hill, we had no issues finding parking and making the short walk over to the ice skating area. We waited in a very short line and were able to make payment and immediately obtain our ice skates. We didn't have to travel far to swap our feet out of our shoes for the ice skates, and we were steps away from the rink. There was plenty of seating all around for those who would rather watch than brave the ice. The area was clean and hand sanitizer was strategically placed and never far away. The rink itself was well kept and easy to glide across. There were many families and all were grooving to the music. When we needed to take a well deserved break, we decided to order snacks from the concession area. The snacks were affordable and the folks were very friendly. We stayed for several hours and while there were many people there, we felt it was never overcrowded. When we finally finished, we returned our skates and headed up the stairs in the amphitheater area of downtown Sugar Hill to grab dinner. We made lots of memories and took plenty of great pictures. We hope to go back next year!

Only dislike is the the skate trainers they offer which was metal, low and not too supportive for my little one! We'll definitely be back! Had a great time!
