Made an appointment yesterday to make sure I didn't have to wait. I showed up on time and said I have an appointment at 11 am and they looked at me as if I had two heads. Had me sit and said nothing. I asked a few minutes later as is there a wait as I had an appointment she said 10-15 minutes I'm here on vacation and if I wanted to wait for an appointment I would have walked in and asked is there a wait. One star ONLY because I have to give some rating to write a review. This was the weirdest most horrible nail salon experience I have ever had. The guy was all over the place. No foot soak, cut my nails 2 times. Then proceeded to tell me it would be $10 dollars more to remove my callouses on top of the $45 they already charge???? Not a single employee helped or came to my rescue even when I asked to speak to someone in charge. Just insane!!!! Do yourself a favor and run from this business. Never ever going back. read more

I am a regular customer here only because of location. I have been treated poorly many times but today was by far the worst. I arrived at 5:25 and closing is at 6:00. I asked for a pedi for myself (the pedis are timed at 15 minutes) and a polish for my 4 year old daughter. They said no to both because they were closing at 6, which makes absolutely no sense. So I asked if they could just polish my daughters nails and forget about my pedi, since the polish takes only 5 minutes. The owner looked at me and said no again. My daughter was so upset and left in tears. There were at least 5 employees in the salon and only one customer. This is not the first time something like this has happened. I will never return to this establishment. read more

If I could give this place a zero for service, I would. No greeting when I arrived, and the nail technician scowled at me and chit chatted in Korean with another nail tech throughout my pedicure. I tried smiling and making a comment or two--- which were completely ignored. Not relaxing, not a treat-- just a basic, adequate pedicure. I did notice that people getting gel or "spa" pedicures (more costly) seemed to get a smile and a word or two out of the nail technician. Definitely do not recommend this place. read more

TAKE HEED: I have never had a pedicure in less than 45-60 minutes with people who CARE about their customers and their business. this place took 20 minutes total!!! from soaking to finished polish and the guy was soooooo bad, I had polish smeared on both my baby toes, on my sandals etc. He was in a hurry to get his lunch OR he couldn't see! The lady next to me said" omg!" After paying $30.00., which I shouldn't even have done, I went to one of the other girls and showed her my toes. it took her 10 minutes to fix his mess! Plus, the leg massage took all of 15 seconds!!! I don't know how this place stays in business,,,, except for all the unsuspecting tourists that come here. Made an appointment the day before for a Wednesday at 4pm. I'm glad I did because it was nicely busy right after I arrived. Clearly this is a go-to nail salon in Skaneateles. Pedicure is terrific, attention given to my rough heels (thank you!), and shaped as I preferred. I recommend this salon. read more

I came here today for my first pedicure since the COVID pandemic began and it was very disappointing. The place was clean, they had sanitizer everywhere and staff were wearing both masks and a face shields. But I had an 11:30am appointment t and was clearly taken by the "boss" or head lady for my pedicure. I don't think she was ever sitting down for my pedicure for more than a few minutes. She was up and running everywhere, checking people in and even did an eye brown waxing. My leg massage was about 2 Minutes and then about five minutes after that I was done with my pedicure. I undoubtedly seemed to get the worst worker in the facility, because looking around the salon, every one else appeared to have someone that was not rushing around or texting or busy. All in all I timed her and my pedicure lasted less than 20 minutes. She also forgot to mention to the entire salon that it was cash only because their credit card machine broke. I only will return due to location, but I will try to a kid in the future. read more

I thought this place was really great! I got a foot massage with my pedicure and hand massage with my manicure. The massage chairs were awesome. My technician was completely professional and did a great job. They even put three coats of nail polish on your fingers! Highly recommended! read more

Overpriced and poorly done. I got a gel manicure and pedicure for $50. The manicure chipped THAT DAY and the pedicure looked like my eight year old did it. I will admit that both my fingernails and toenails were very short, which I'm sure made them more difficult to polish, but they are supposed to be professionals. I could have done just as good of a job and I pay others to do it for me because I DON'T do a good job at painting nails! I have given this place several chances because I live nearby and like the physical space (despite it being costlier than most nail salons) - it is large and comfortable with a lot of available staff. However, this time was the last shot and I will not be returning. read more

I don't ever comment on these reviews, but this is one i couldn't pass up! This salon needs to shut down!! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT EVER COME HERE!!!! I have never in my life been treated so badly by the owner, who gave me the absolute worst manicure! She was the rudest, most unprofessional person! They do a fine job, but missing some basic steps of the process (such as soaking nails for a manicure). What I dislike and will not tolerate is how I have been treated. I visit my family from NYC and we have gone here each time. One time an older man was doing my nails. He would not speak to me and became so angry by my asking him to file my nails more that someone else has to take over. I felt very uncomfortable and not safe. My mom loves it here so we went again this weekend. I received the same man and the same thing happened! This time though I felt the other woman was not friendly either. Honestly, both time my requests have been very minor. And even if they weren't, this shouldn't happen.My sister commented that she had no idea what I did to trigger them- assuming the issue is me, and not them. I'll never go back. And will be investigating a way to explore this further beyond yelp. My suggestion? Go somewhere else! read more

The people and staff were very nice but the service was poor. I had a manicure and it was very rough. Two fingers were bleeding after I told the manicurist many times I was in pain. They do not soak your hands in water to soften them, which would help a lot with this. It is now less than 6 hours later and all of our (3 people) have chipped nails. We were completely rushed, they did not give massages, and seemed to be trying to get us out as soon as possible. In addition, we had 11am manicures and we were not seated until about 1130, which is frustrating when you have plans directly after. What is the point of appointments if you do not stick to them? When this establishment first opened the quality was outstanding. After a few years I have noticed a steep decline in service and quality of manicures. read more

Not a very good experience. The work was sloppy and they seemed to have all sorts of problems. The hot water wasn't working when I went and they were heating up water for the pedicures. They gave me my manicure without soaking my cuticles. Also the polish is poor quality, it started chipping & peeling within a day or two. Wouldn't recommend. Also was over priced, I live in Manhattan so I'm used to overpriced....but at least expected quality. read more

I had maybe the worst pedicure I have ever had. My feet were barely soaked in the tub. The old nail polish was removed and my nails were clipped. My feet were quickly rubbed with an exfoliant, rinsed and dried. New polish was applied. End of pedicure! My cuticles were not pushed back, the underside of my nails were not cleaned and my toes looked worse than when I walked in. I had removed a bandaid from a toe the day before and the adhesive that remained on my toe was still there when I left. Bottom line? I can change my own polish. read more

My Mom and I came here for a mani/pedi and had a great experience. We live about 15 minutes away, but we heard about this place and decided to give it a try--it was worth the trip. The salon is clean, the staff is friendly, and our nails came out great =) I had a gel manicure and the tech made sure to get the polish all the way up to my cuticles (I hate when they leave a gap because they grow out so quickly). I'm graduating next weekend, and fingers crossed, my nails will still look great for it! read more

Second time here. The first time was last year for a wedding. It was HORRIBLE: unfriendly, poor pedicure & painting- but t was remedied by a manager. So I thought I would try again while visiting this year. I bought a half price 'spa pedicure' and was so excited to relax and get pampered. Well thank GOD I only paid the cost of a basic pedicure because that is all I got! Not friendly, nothing special, no 'extras', I get a better. ASIC pedicure back home in Florida. Quite frankly, they suck! It's "express pedicure". I am not kidding from beginning to end, 15 minutes. They don't scrape feet and callouses unless you pay them $10 more. They spend time massaging your feet instead of tending to cuticles, nail clipping, etc. I only went here because I had a gift certificate. Trust me, drive down the road to Auburn, T&K or J&L, way better! Worst pedicures EVER. read more

While I was at the salon, I overheard someone saying they messed up their newly polished nail while drying and the nail tech happily fixed it! I love this place! They have brand new spa chairs and nail tables, with the latest technology. The technicians are very nice with strong hands. I received complimentary foot massage and shoulder massage during my manicure/ pedicure. So nice to have this in the village. We take a ladies trip here each year on our vacation! read more

I was in Skaneateles for a wedding and found this place by accident. The service was amazing and beyond my expectations. Being from the DC metro area, I am use to good looking nail salons that charge too much for little or no service. However, this place went above and beyond. I got a mani and pedi and it took a little over an hour, but well worth it. Yo-Yo did both for me and she was really good and polite. The owner of the salon even let my boyfriend sit in a pedicure chair to get a chair massage while he waited for me. This is a really nice place to go if you are in the area, I can't wait to revisit the area to get another mani-pedi! read more

Awful place and service. I waited an hour and a half in a pedicure chair and did not recieve service. I had my 2 daughters with me, who were also waiting. When we walked out we only got a short apology and were told they had a big bridal party and could not accomodate. I will never go back. This place wasted my vacation time. I've given this place 5 chances - given it's the only gig in town, we don't have much choice, but its days are limited if the service continues to be unacceptable. The first chance was my wedding - 8 months in advance I made a huge appointment for my bridal party and proceeded to confirm it multiple times including 2 weeks before the big day. I showed up for the appointment and not only was every chair taken, they had no record of my appointment. They scrambled and gave us all subpar treatments. Following that, it's been one negative experience after the next. Don't bother making appointments here, as they either lose them or don't care (I'm currently sitting in the pedicure chair at 9:45 soaking and soaking waiting for my technician)... The job is mediocre. The problem is, there's nowhere here to get your nails done for a reasonable price! Maybe another shop will open up and these guys will have to step up their game. read more
