Went here as this was considered 'Pepper Lunch' like in US but it's totally different as there was no Salmon or noodles plates, and it was not a full restaurant but at a food court or fast food kiosk in the Greenhills Shopping Center by the garage. Per Emma's first review of this place, they used to serve Salmon. That was a disappointment as I was craving it.
My next craving was for meat or steak. They actually offered rib eye so I took that as that didn't look too fatty and I was right. It was served on a hot iron plate with a big cup of rice, three pieces of sweet peas and three carrot slices for 645php. It also had herbed garlic butter in top but that made it hella salty but still ok to me. It was cooked almost well but meat but was little tough. Not bad price if converted to dollars but expensive to the Filipinos. My mom and aunts ordered their Beef Belly rice plates for 269php. They didn't like it much even if it had the same veggies as mine. It was very salty with the gravy and herb garlic butter. The beef belly was cooking on the iron plate but not charred a little to get rid of the fat. It just had too much, they brought it back home to recook it.
Not sure I would come back here as I know my mom didn't like it. Even their Iced tea was super sweet! If I was to come back, rib eye steak would be my choice and I will omit the butter or have them give it to me on the side. I hope this place offers Salmon again as they only offered tuna rice plate. I know that would cook too well on the iron plate which would not be good in my book. Good solid two stars as everything was salty. [16/100] read more
