Japanese food + Reggae = "Raggatori"
One of the newer establishments in Cubao Expo, it definitely catches one's eye as it looks like one those tiny Japanese street bars I've only seen on animes but this one comes with a Reggae twist. Reggae music plays in the establishment which comes as a welcome uniqueness compared to other Japanese establishments out there.
The food is a variety of what I'd like to call "Japanese Pulutan." Choose between the likes of Yakitori, Wagyu Beef Cubes, Tsukune, etc. Other not so Japanese pulutan like longannisa and cheese sausages are available for you to purchase and munch on with your alcoholic beverage. Plus, they also have Donburis for those who need their rice fix. The food was grilled on the spot so it's served to you hot and fresh and it tastes good especially with your cold beer (and the beer was definitely served cold).
Overall, Raggatori is a nice place to visit with your friends but it's more of a drinking place than a place to have a nice quaint dinner at. It's a unique place to visit in an already unique Cubao Expo and it's definitely a place you should check out. read more
