Sizzler is good in California?! As an east coast person, Sizzler has all but disappeared or morphed into a place you would go out of your way to avoid. Somehow in SoCal we are still in the 90s and Sizzler is a solid family restaurant. The buffet was clean and well stocked and fresh. Server was super nice and great with refills and the restaurant was clean. It's not gourmet but it's a fun reminder of when quality mattered in restaurants like this. read more

When we came in there was 2 servers then later on we only saw Darla..I told my husband I bet they sent the other server home because I hadn't seen him and she had alot of tables. She did a great job still trying to attend to everyone. She forgot my water a few times but considering her situation that was alot. By the time we were leaving more guests were coming and she had 15 tables at 215pm. She was a very attentive and a really nice server.. Food was decently good. We did the salad bar. They replenished as we were dining.. My only issue and I know it can't be fixed is the super small stall in the woman's restroom. It is not accommodating for tall or wide people. Is this a top tier steak house? No, but it's pretty decent. Since soup plantation closed down this is my go to salad bar spot. Great fresh options and I like that there is a taco bar section. The salad bar includes a drink, but the cashier didn't inform us and tried to sell us one. The best part is LEO. Leo has the trait of someone who loves his job--genuinely kind and sweet. Salad bar is excellent with huge selection and consistently fresh food. Smaller portion senior dishes are great value with salad bar and drink included. Came for lunch on a Monday. We really just wanted the salad bar but decided to get the 6 oz steak and take it home and add on the salad bar as it's only a few dollars more. We enjoyed our meal and the server Leo was phenomenal and seemed to read our mind- give that man a raise! We might come back if we were craving the salad bar but would likely return at lunch and order the lunch special with add on as the 20 bucks for the salad bar at dinner plus 4 for a soda seems a tad too highly priced. We paid 56 plus tip for 2 lunch specials, salad bars and 1 drink but we're able to make 2 meals each so not too bad. read more
