I came here on a Saturday evening around 7 PM for dinner. We sat at the bar which wasn't very crowded at that point and the bartenders were friendly and attentive. I ordered the chicken sizzle, one of their signature dishes. The portion size is very generous at only $13--you could easily share it between two people and still be full. However, it wasn't terribly flavorful despite its appearance. If I had some Creole seasoning and hot sauce it would have been great. The dj started doing his thing around 7:30 and was on fire all night. Note that the place becomes a nightlife venue after 9 PM and they charge a $10 cover. Man listen, this place has never been on my radar. I've never even heard of the place. I don't frequent east Baltimore county often so that's another reason I never heard of the place. Bad Service, Mediocre Food, FALSIFIED BILLS I'll start with the most important descriptor that surely caught your eye. The Saturday Happy Hour at this wretched place featured drink specials that included $1.50 off drinks and appetizers. I ordered a $3.50 domestic and a $7.00 Nacho Supreme. So for the non-math wizards in the house, the bill was supposed to be $7.50 plus tax. When my bill came back to me for $11.60, I immediately took my receipt back to the bar where a manager so happened to be present. After her looking at the supposed deductions listed, she proceeded to explain to me that the listed deductions where on the receipt. I advised her, yes the receipt LISTS the discounts but the total CLEARLY doesn't reflect them! After waiting for her to grab her cell phone to add it up, she took my receipt, called herself manually adding in some type of discount that still didn't add up and also wasn't the amount that was supposed to be discounted (she ultimately only took ONE DOLLAR OFF). I'll let you take a look at the math on my photo- maybe you can help me "Make it make sense!" There were two other individuals in my party that had receipts that were incorrect as well. PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR RECEIPTS, THEY WILL TRY TO OVERCHARGE YOU! If that alone isn't enough to make you think twice about going, I had to literally stalk the bartender for service after the waiter at our table kept forgetting about us. Normally, if it were a busy night, I would give some understanding but when there's a total of 3 tables in the restaurant, 8 people at the bar, and only 1 table + 2 people were not with my crew and all of us are having the same issue, something's got to give. To top it all off outside of that, I ordered nachos with no meat, no cheese, no sour cream and had to send it back twice because it kept coming out wrong. How you get an order of tortilla chips with jalapenos and olives with a side of salsa wrong is beyond me but this place was batting 1000. Also keep in mind that meat was extra so they were trying to upcharge me without me requesting an add-on item. Save yourself a trip and find somewhere else to go! read more

I've heard a lot about Sizzle, so I was willing to check it out one week night with a friend. My amiga says that weekends are typically packed up, but this Tuesday night is pretty chill. Bartenders were friendly and helpful, and not overly attentive. The bar menu was ample, and there were not an overwhelming number of food options. My friend and I ordered the same thing: Angry Orchard ciders and fish sandwiches. The cider was just a cider, no big deal. The fish sandwich, however, was pretty delicious: crispy and flavorful fish and fries. I would definitely consider coming back soon to try other menu items. read more

I'm giving 3 stars because I actually like the facility. I love on the west side of the county, so it was a bit of a hike for me to get to Sizzle. It would be nice to have a place like this on my side of town. The atmosphere is nice. The dance floor is big and the crowd was mixed. The drinks are good and well priced, and the food is good but took forever to get to our table. An hr and a half of drinking and not eating... There was an incident that occurred on the dance floor which resulted in a young lady hitting her head and bleeding. The area was cleaned up but the party wasn't stopped for the matter. Bodily fluids like that should be sanitized, not mopped. And I can only imagine where that mop will end up! This is not a place I would frequent because it is so far from me, but I did enjoy myself. If the food came to us sooner, my only complaint would be the way the situation. With the young lady was handled. When the food finally came out, it was good. The reviews were terrible but i didn't want to go too far to grab a bite to eat. It's really nice inside. Very spacious with a lot of tables (downstairs) and 2 long bars on opposite sides of the room. When we arrived we were asked if we were there for the comedy show (upstairs) or just to dine. We sat downstairs but it's nice to know that they do have shows. The restaurant was practically empty so we didn't have to wait to be served at all. The waiter was pretty attentive, not warm and fuzzy though. I ordered a mango margarita which wasn't that great (also it wasn't served 'up' which is important to me.. this isn't impacting my review though.. am i terrible for wanting my drink to look pretty in a pretty glass?? I digress ) . I got lemon pepper wings and my friend Asian wings and southwest egg rolls . I thought the Lemon pepper wings were good. Nice and hot and crispy. I tasted an Asian wing and it was average (one really bad point.. one of the wings that was on the plate was covered in feathers. Came here a couple of months ago with my crew for a fun night out. Love pretty much everything about my time here. Ladies were free before 11pm and then I think cover is $10. The vibe is great. The DJ had us lit the whole night. There a dance floor and it's good amount of space. Drinks were reasonably and the menu had a good variety. The food was really good too. I had chicken tenders and fries and I sampled some of my friends' food, mainly the seafood flatbread, and the Southwest eggrolls. Checked out Sizzle yesterday & I only wish that I would've checked them out sooner. They have a nice outside space, which included a bar, hookah and a stage where a live band was playing. The inside is pretty spacious with a large dance floor and 2 bars. Upstairs also have a bar where they were playing reggae music. Every area played something different. If I could give this place no stars I would. Went here for an event and although that was ok there was not enough seating for everyone so many people just had to stand. Ordered two drinks a Long Island and a Ginger ale and Cranberry (for someone who doesn't drink alcohol). He was given a gin and cranberry which made him sick to his stomach after the first sip. I was at Sizzle March 23rd. The best thing about the evening was THE BAND!!! NU BAND featuring Tim Obassi was slamming!!! The food and drinks were disappointing1 The kitchen did not have many items on the menu. The drink sizes were small and not exciting! The food's presentation wasn't enticing! Service was nice, but had to make apologies for shortages. But, the Band was Slammin'! Don't get me wrong. I ordered the Fried Cauliflower, which was good. But I really wanted the Fried Avocado (I never had it before and wanted to try it), but they didn't have it. But, I willing to come back when 'NU Band is playin' and try some other items on the menu. Here with a group for the Sunday Brunch (reservations were made a month in advance). Arrived at 1:00 and there is little to no food; the food that is available is cold and hard. There is a person on the omelette /waffle station who is super slow (this is the only food available). The coffee is cold, we have plastic forks (no spoons or knives). Ice buckets on the floor. This is located in the North Eastern part of Baltimore County in White Marsh, not the mall area but on Pulaski Highway, so be warned that the police are heavily present on the weekends. There is a public lot for free parking, early arrival is suggested on large event nights. The lot fills up very fast and soon they have security come out and they start to charge people. Mind you, these are the owners of the old Iguana Cantina that was located in Downtown Baltimore, so they are all about that dollar. If you get there before 10pm, I do believe that there is no cover charge... there are drink and food specials available before 10pm as well. On Fridays they have 92q Jams playing after 10pm so if you are there with family and small children it is best to get there before 10. The dance floor is very large and can accommodate large parties, there are seats around both bars and outdoor seating. There is a second floor for private functions as well. The bathroom is rather small compared to the size of the venue. The bar tenders are often bombarded with orders because there are only 2-3 at the bar waiting on several people at a time. The food was ok, it did the job if you were just trying to eat to absorb the liquor. My father told me about this place last month. I live in West Baltimore so this was definitely a hike for me, but man was it worth it! The atmosphere is so nice with their laser lights and fog effects. Moreover, the DJ was killing it that night! I believe the DJ starts spinning at 11pm Thursday through Saturday.
