The door between our house and garage would not open. The dead bolt and the service door handle was not locked. My husband took apart the service door handle and it appears that the mechanism was damaged and he could not remove it. After 2 hours of trying to remove the piece, I called Pixx by Sixx Lock & Key. I spoke with Heather and she said they could be out the next morning (which was fine with us). Sixx called and said he was on his way, arrived at the designated time and accessed the problem. The mechanism had to be extracted which required a bit of work. Sixx was professional and explained everything he was doing step by step. I called Sixx on the strength of the reviews and now I can add my own 5 star review - Sixx came out on time after calling to confirm he was on his way, and prior to his visit he asked me careful questions about the state of my misbehaving lock so he could be prepared. Once on site, he quickly diagnosed that my lock could not be rebuilt and did need replacement, and he was able to diagnose and fix a separate problem on a different door that was misaligned leading to lock stickiness though that lock was fine. I somehow jammed a copy of my house key I had made at Lowe's in the door. I tried fruitlessly to get it out and called Pixx by Sixx for last minute help. If you need a locksmith in Tucson, Sixx should be your first call! He answered right away early on a Sunday morning after my toddler accidentally locked us out. He quoted the price over the phone, and arrived 20 minutes later and had the door unlocked in a few minutes. Our house is older and over time had accumulated four different keys to different locks, and was missing keys for others. He offered a few different solutions for us and our budget. He came back two days later and rekeyed our whole house so now we only have to use one key! And don't have to worry about our toddler fiddling with the locks. He also went out of his way to help maximize the life of our locks so the doors that get heavier use got the better locks put on them rather than just putting the locks right back on the same doors.
