We needed new locks on our house and we were hoping to get it done the same day. We were thrilled that Sixx could meet with us that morning! He was very informative, especially when he gave us "story time" to teach us about some old locks we didn't know we had! It took the better half of the day to complete, but the keys fit very well in their locks. We felt very comfortable having him at our home and would definitely call his local family business for help in the future. read more

Sixx was very knowledgeable about the work he did for, as well as professional. We did think his labor costs were high.

Sixx was the prime example of professional service. I had him perform rekey of a set of deadbolts. He was punctual, communicative, and very knowledgeable. I don't often have needs for a locksmith, but when I do I will absolutely be calling Pixx by Sixx. read more

Highly recommend! We have an old Cadillac and needed copies of door and engine keys. I didn't bring the car in at first and the engine key didn't work when I tried it. Sixx did not quit until he got it right. Very honest and hard working. We will always go here first from now on! read more

I was fortunate to find Pixx By Sixx by random calling companies after google search for Tucson Locksmith. What a blessing!!! All the other companies could not help me until next week. Not with Pixx by Sixx Lock and Key. Sixx was waiting for me at my new commercial building 15 minutes after I got off the phone with him. He assessed the problem and fix it professionally. Also, I had him make extra keys for all my locks. I would use Sixx again for any lock issues. I highly recommend Pixx by Sixx Lock and Key!!! You will not be disappointed. read more

The door between our house and garage would not open. The dead bolt and the service door handle was not locked. My husband took apart the service door handle and it appears that the mechanism was damaged and he could not remove it. After 2 hours of trying to remove the piece, I called Pixx by Sixx Lock & Key. I spoke with Heather and she said they could be out the next morning (which was fine with us). Sixx called and said he was on his way, arrived at the designated time and accessed the problem. The mechanism had to be extracted which required a bit of work. Sixx was professional and explained everything he was doing step by step. He also brought another handle and had the door fixed in less than a hour. We couldn't be more pleased and will definitely use them again. read more

I called Sixx on the strength of the reviews and now I can add my own 5 star review - Sixx came out on time after calling to confirm he was on his way, and prior to his visit he asked me careful questions about the state of my misbehaving lock so he could be prepared. Once on site, he quickly diagnosed that my lock could not be rebuilt and did need replacement, and he was able to diagnose and fix a separate problem on a different door that was misaligned leading to lock stickiness though that lock was fine. He observed every precaution against COVID and his price was truly fair. He will be the first call I make if I need lock service in the future. Thanks, Sixx! read more

Very knowledgeable, quick and efficient. Gave handy tips on if you get locked out and in need of replacement keys.

I somehow jammed a copy of my house key I had made at Lowe's in the door. I tried fruitlessly to get it out and called Pixx by Sixx for last minute help. After a lengthy helpful conversation and a scheduled appointment, I was able to get the key out myself. While I did not use their services, I really appreciate the in-depth questions about the lock, his willingness to stop and pick up an new better lock for me and get her as soon as he could. I will use them for sure any time I need lock help just for their sheer willingness to help and professionalism. read more

If you need a locksmith in Tucson, Sixx should be your first call! He answered right away early on a Sunday morning after my toddler accidentally locked us out. He quoted the price over the phone, and arrived 20 minutes later and had the door unlocked in a few minutes. Our house is older and over time had accumulated four different keys to different locks, and was missing keys for others. He offered a few different solutions for us and our budget. He came back two days later and rekeyed our whole house so now we only have to use one key! And don't have to worry about our toddler fiddling with the locks. He also went out of his way to help maximize the life of our locks so the doors that get heavier use got the better locks put on them rather than just putting the locks right back on the same doors. Hopefully we won't need a locksmith again for a long time but if we do, I'll call Sixx. read more

Excellent, knowledgeable, and professional service! Sixx knows locks, and was really helpful. Highly recommend.

Spoke to Sixx about getting a replacement key for my newly purchased vehicle. Sixx went above and beyond !!!! He could have had me purchase keys , services , waste time , waste money and still not resolve the issue of a replacement key . Sixx did not do that . He explained every option available and even offered to walk me through self help . If I could give him 10 stars I would !!! Honest , professional and courteous! read more

Sixx arrived on time, with the right color and style locks we agreed on by text/photos. He explained in great detail what he was doing, possible issues and gave me choices about keeping or removing old hardware. The new locks look good and work smoothly. I'm glad I chose him to do the work. And, I'd hire him again if/when a need arises. read more
