The loooong line of cars coming into the park
    Olystacy B.

These fields may be ok but access to and from fields is HORRID during tournaments. There is literally one road into these fields. The back up from arriving cars is literally 50-100 cars - taking 25 minutes to drive a quarter of a mile. While waiting I got rear ended!!! And we saw several young kids get out of their cars and run down the roadway to make games on time. Poorly placed and poorly executed place for tournaments. They charged 15 to park for the weekend and we had to walk half a mile to fields. At one point on Saturday after we paid 15 dollars for parking they told us the lots were full. Won't be doing Crossfire Select tournament again. Ridiculous in so many ways.

Could you PLEASE change your pet laws so I can play in just a fraction of the 60 acres at Sixty Acres Park?? I PROMISE not to leave poop!

Grass is really full and thick. Needed to be cut a little shorter. There was good parking and a nice hiking trail as well.

With parking lots and bathrooms on either side of NE 116th this is a great place to leave your car while you enjoy the Sammamish River Trail!

    - dog paradise!!! -…read more It's insane how long I've live here without ever really visited this park other than the two times that I was here for cirque du soleil lol. First of all, this park is HUGE! We walked around the center or the park and we passed by 3 playgrounds, one huge dog park and a garden. There was also a climbing area and they have ropes there for that too. It doesn't look too fun since it was burning hot. The dog park though .. OMG it's amazing! There are tons of little bushes for doggies to pee and jump around... Or play hide and seek. I love seeing all the doggies run around without a leash. I think it's just so wonderful and they all look super happy. Two huge doggies came to play with us and I got to pat them. They are super fluffy!!! I can't even tell the breed but they are huge with long fur! My daughter was in a carrier on me and she was a bit nervous when the doggies sniffied her feet, but overall she was fine with it. I also think this is also for dog owners to meet and mingle... Dog friends anyone? The garden is mostly for people to plant stuff, so it wasn't too interesting. There was also a performance area with a ticket booth, and several spots for picnic. Ps. Pay the $1 parking fee, or worry about the possible fine when you are spending time at the park.

If giganticness were a thing then this park would get full stars. However as the giganticness is in…read moremany cases quite empty then I've reduced the stars. Much of the giganticness is used for events, which I can't rate the park itself on; also at least from the sign when you enter, you have to pay to park here (everywhere? I don't know) which is a huge thumbs down from me. Pay at a park? No thank you. There's a cool/cute farm thingee on the right when you drive in with a structure that looks like a windmill without the rudder. There's an also cool totem pole near the entrance. After that it's....a lot of grass, walk and bike paths, great to take your dog I'd say - including an off leash section. There's a lot to offer and incentive to get to know the park better, which I aspire to do. In spite of the giganticness the (south?) entry off Lake Sammamish Pkway is fairly nondescript so just make sure you obey your gps lol.

He took a claim along the banks of the Sammamish River and eventually became Redmond's founder and first postmaster. His nearest neighbors at the time were a group of Native Americans living along Lake Sammamish. Now that you've made Luke's acquaintance I invite you to experience the lovely park named in his honor. Just off Redmond Way and in the shadow of a high rise hotel, is a small parking lot that I've never seen fully occupied. The covered picnic area shelters several tables and the grassy area is perfect for lawn games or running children. Not far down the adjacent, paved Sammamish Trail is water access for splashing or communing with the water fowl, as well as a fishing pier for specially created those with disabilities. Fast food is available nearby if you forget your picnic lunch. Come, sit a spell and relax! Jan 20, 2019 The river level was down yesterday so I'm adding a new photo that shows the fishing pier area when it's not submerged.

The Redmond Downtown Park was completed not long ago in 2018 and is in the perfect location surrounded by businesses, apartments, and also is not far from the town center. It's a wide two-acre park that features a wide circular grass lawn, landscaping and gardens, active splash pads from May to September, plus a pavilion and stage. The dining groove is especially pretty in the springtime when all the cherry blossom trees are in full bloom! Most of the tables generally become occupied around lunchtime, but many people like to host a picnic on the grass lawn as well. Events would be held at the park prior to the pandemic, and sometimes art sculptures are left on display. Park has always been well-kept. Street parking, bicycle racks, and public restrooms are available. There is plenty of clearance, but still do be mindful if you bring your children as two major roads border the park.
