Honestly solid spot in New Bedford. Small, clean bar with a couple of TVs, and fun decor. Cold day and started off with the chili. Great flavor, little kick exactly what I needed. My girlfriend got the chicken wings, liked the bbq sauce on them, wings were very big compared to other places we have been. The selection of smash burgers, hotdogs, and sandwiches were awesome. Ended up with the bbq smash loved it. Burger had a nice char too it, great flavor. The onion rings cooked perfect and loved the bacon too. Service was quick, believed to be the owner, was friendly as well. Would definitely come back again. Atmosphere was Fantastic. Service was fast and friendly. Prices were in line with items on Menu. The bar is large U-shape and great for watching a game. Definitely had to get some wings, they were very good and sauced well, but I will say I was surprised they don't offer many choices for flavors compared to their sister spot the Speedwell . We all ordered Smash Burgers and they were great. We all had either a single or double . We had onion wrings and French fries with our burgers. Great selection of Micro Brews. 1st time getting food from here. We did take-out. We were both happy with our food. I got the No Cap burger (with no mushrooms or onions) and hubby tried the Chili Con Carne and the Big Kahuna burger. My burger was with fries and he chose the onion rings. I like the look of the place, it's not big but it's nice. It seemed a little noisy with everyone chatting, but that's fine. Maybe next time we'll dine in. My only complaint is that the fries that the have are shoe string ... I really do not like shoe string fries cause they get cold too fast and once they're cold they're basically stale. I wish they did more of a seasoned fry or even a fat steak fry ... but whatever. Everything else was great. read more

Like most New Bedford restaurants, this is a bar that serves food. The decor is newer, with TVs, bar, hightop & booth seating. Service was very helpful. They have a big menu, with specials like a custom sea breeze on tap. I had a cup of chowder, a Cuban sandwich and a salad: all very good. The chowder is not your traditional New England clam chowder; it's better. They use just enough linguiça and spices to make it very delicious, and it's thick, with a luscious consistency. The cubano had been pressed a bit too long, but the fillings were excellent. It's a little pricey, but I think this is a better choice of than most others around here. read more

Possibly the worst meal I've ever had ! The waitresses are pleasant enough but the food was terrible! hot but terrible! The chowder was tasty but thick as mud.
