I'm beginning to wonder if perfect quality matters to any of The Woodlands nail techs. Having a lengthy conversation before Tina started my set, I explained to her how awful an experience I had at Elite Nails Bar just down the street, a couple days ago. I walked in at 9:30am, told the gentleman I wanted a dip/nexgen set. We discussed how I like my nails narrow and he understood what I wanted. Tina met me to start my nails. I was very clear that I wanted narrow dip/nexgen nails in bright white that were not bumpy/lumpy and I was very picky because if they are wide or have bumps/lumps my OCD will drive me crazy until the nails are removed. She made it clear she understood what I was talking about. She gets the tips glued on and breaks out the acrylic and starts to proceed to apply it to my nail. I stopped her right away and said no, I wanted dip. Acrylics are too thick for me and the dip or nexgen kind are more natural looking to me. Guessing I slightly offended her, she wasn't as pleasant as before I commented. She seemed fine after a little while. Now, my nails are as narrow as I like, but each one of them are so lumpy and I didn't notice (or looked as closely as I should have before she put on the top coat) it until I got outside in the sunlight. I didn't go back in because, at this point, I have spent far too long in nail salons in the past 2 days getting crappy manicures. I took photos this time. I went in when it was busy.. and Jennie did a good job with my nail itself. However, my fingernails was bleeding because I had cuticle work done. And I got an infection. I don't think she knew how to do cuticles at all because now they look infected, dry and the skin is peeling. The total cost was $60 with $20 tip. My cuticles were bleeding and very red two days ago. I'm writing this review 1 week later. Overall my nails look cute, some are crooked but they're cute that's why I gave two extra stars. But the cuticles were really bad. read more

After finding this place on Yelp we decided to try it. Jenny and Kevin was very welcoming. We were celebrating my aunts birthday. We got 3 pedicures, manicures and eyebrow wax. I came do get my nails done both acrylic and pedicure. The pedicure was not as good as I hoped. The nails looks pretty but I mention several times one of my toes was hurting due to an ingrown nail, he said okay got it and did nothing pretended to fix it but didn't. Then when I did my acrylic nails the blue was not the one I wanted blending was not good the application was not good as well and I felt over charged for the work that was done. read more

Me and my friend came in together they had her feet in cold water and broke her toenail and tried to put an overlay on top of a broken toe nail. I have seen Jenny for my amazing nails for ten years at least and her and kevin are the absolute best! I bring in my service dog Kingston and Princeton before him and we just love them! Worst experience ever. The lady who did my nails was so fast she hurt my nails and skin. My nails have different length and shape... unacceptable. I also got nail polish for my feet and I had to ask for the whole nail to be painted and still, it doesn't look good. I went to get a pedicure the last minute. Six Pines did a wonderful job. I definitely recommend them.

I was a walk-in for a pedicure. It wasn't busy and these guys were quick and attentive instead of being so focused on their phones. Everyone was kind and there was no chit chatting back and forth in native language. My pedicurist spent extra time on foot and leg massage not charging more for basic pedicure. This place could use some decluttering/ more modern feel but I'm mostly writing this to share my most recent experience . I don't usually complain but now that I have a bruised finger I think I should. The tech was a male with gray hair . He cut my finger while trying to do my cuticle clean up . He apologized but didn't really offer any kind of discount or something to make it up . Now my finger has been bothering me. Do not come to this place of business if you like to feel like an inconvenience. My friend and I walked in to get a pedicure and was not greeted. They asked for her to come to the back and for me to wait I informed they that we would like to sit together. My water was cold and they took their time to provide me with hot water. My friend had to ask them to turn on the massage bubbles for my pedicure which they also took their time with while my feet were still soaked in cold water. Now here is the part that behooved me. The tech broke my toe nail and tired to cover it up as if I did not notice and once I did I informed her of it and she tried to put an overlay on a broken toe nail w/o removing it. So my friend and I came here to try somewhere new and I noticed they had almost 5 stars so we thought it would be safe to try it out. We were wrong! Walking in and we immediate felt like an inconvenience. I wanted a manicure and pedicure but my friend just wanted a manicure. We asked if we could sit near each other and they told us no. We said we came together because we wanted to get them done together. They agreed but acted annoyed about it. Then when my friend asked the prices they gave us their price (which was expensive, but whatever, they are allowed to charge however much they want). They had very little choices for color and acted like they were so annoyed with us for coming. When my friend asked me if I wanted to go to our usual place they intercepted our conversation, angrily took the color choices from my friends hand and told us to leave if it's more convenient for us.
