If I could give another terrible review of this place I would. These are predatory business practices. You should be ashamed. Rides are always closed, employees are underpaid, miserable, and understaffed, food is disgusting and expensive, parking is unbelievable ($35 to walk a mile to get in), service numbers won't answer you and will not help you whatsoever. When it comes to a Vekoma Boomerang there really isn't much to it up the hill down the hill through the station into the corkscrew down through the loop up the other hill then all of it again in reverse! This Boomerang was originally from Six Flags Over Texas moved here a few years back to let everyone enjoy this dying clone I say dying because a lot of these are being replaced by better coasters which are smoother however this Boomerang wasn't too bad when it comes to some of these! For those who don't know Vekoma is the company that made these they have a good amount of them at parks all over the world it's the exact same design so once you've ridden one of them you've ridden all of them kinda as some are rougher than others it just depends on how it's been taken care of over the years! Overall there really isn't too much to say other than this is another older coaster that's still drawing a crowd to find out what they are all about either way I hope some of these will continue to live on as no matter what park I'm at it reminds me of when I was a little girl at the park being super stoked to take the Boomerang on! read more

Let me start by saying When I was younger our family always had season passes.. We loved it!! There was always employees sweeping and cleaning, it was always so clean. Everyone was so friendly. But a few weeks ago My daughter and granddaughter decided it would be a great weekend to go... We were all so excited... Our experience was terrible.. The park was so dirty as well as the bathrooms and restaurants.. The paint was chipping off of the building, The gutters were full of trash.. The trashcans were so full we couldn't even put out trash in them. The employees were so rude... We bought the day cup... But spent most of the day in a line to refill them. The only highlight of our day was the girl that worked at Mr Freeze.. She was very entertaining while they had to tend to someone that passed out after riding... Please get it cleaned up... And maybe get some PR training for your employees. read more

Six Flags was fun for the most part. We had some feee tickets, so that was a plus and incentive to go. I was surprised to see that so many of the rides, shops, and concessions were shut down. Some of the areas were like walking through a ghost town. The rides that were operating were a lot of fun! Plenty of great rides for all ages. Instead we had found out the park was closed after driving five hours to get there, six flags seems to have an issue with informing customers about the delays and cancellations of the park. Absolutely awful experience. I already bought two season passes, one for me and one for my THREE YEAR OLD son, at $96 EACH. I show up today for the kids Fright Fest and on my way in am informed that the passes I purchased included 4 blackout days which include 3 saturdays of Fright Fest (which was absolutely NOT made clear upon purchase) and that to get in, I need to upgrade my passes for $30 EACH. So $66 later, we get in. While there I found someone's credit card on the ground and brought it into that chicken place by Bugs Bunny Park. Owen the cashier tells me he doesn't want it and I can take it to lost and found. When I asked where that is located, he rolled his eyes and said, down in the park somewhere..... Then I buy a pretzel from Colonel Cobb's. Whatever little girl was working there around 1:15 today (she wasn't wearing a name tag) should not ever be around people. She was in the back when I came to the counter and rolled her eyes when she had to come take my order, didn't even speak to me, just walked to the register and stared at me. Then I ordered and she didn't even fill the cheese cup half way. I asked her to fill it up, another eye roll. Then I paid and she said nothing else, just kept staring at me like I was putting her out. This place used to be so good! Really gone downhill... read more

You have an IT and app support department, right? If the park is closed due to power failure on a holiday weekend, it's pretty simple to update your online platforms with this information. We waited more than an hour in traffic, waiting to enter the park, only to be diverted at the entrance with no explanation. We overheard exiting employees tell another car about the lack of power. Do not EVER become part of the membership programs they offer!!! I have had a membership for me and my family (6 people) for over 3 years. I did not wish to have it that long. It took me over 2 years to cancel the membership and will not get a refund even though it was Six Flags fault that I could not cancel it. I called corporate several times and the customer service is one of the worst I have ever dealt with in my life. I was hung up on several times, passed around and disconnected several times, this was after it took MANY attempts to even reach someone by phone. I even drove 50 minutes to go to the park to cancel them and they could not assist. Even the supervisor could not assist and told me to call the corporate number. After finally getting my membership canceled but no refund of any kind, I am now getting calls from their collection department saying I owe money. I reached out to corporate again and waited days for a response, just to be told to disregard the messages and not to worry. It has been over a month now of getting a call and email every other day saying that I owe them money. The customer service of six flags team is absolutely horrible and the park itself has gone downhill as well. Half of the concessions are always closed and it least 2-3 rides are closed every time I had visited. The fact that canceling my membership could not be done online without the original confirmation number was an absolute nightmare. Six Flags St. Louis was a very good experience . The Weather was decent. It was the middle of July when he went. We had a party of 10. I only went for five hours. The park is only open from 11 till seven. During this time the water park was only open on On Monday Wednesday and Friday. It was closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The food at the park and not good though . Otherwise the rides and the Wait times for great period I enjoyed right in the Batman. The cat women ride was the best. The wood roller coaster the boss was awesome. Super fast. And super girl was pretty good for a little kids. Would recommend this place. read more

This was my first trip to Six Flags and I went with a friend who it was also her first time. We got to the park a little after opening and someone waved us to the far right lane. When we got up closer it said that was premium lane only so it was stressful trying to get over. Parking is really steep when you're already paying for an amusement park. It's $35 for general parking. When we got in we tried the Batman roller coaster first and it was definitely the best. We also enjoyed the Ninja coaster. The longest line was Catwoman we waited 45 minutes. It was intense and made me really nauseous the rest of the day. The Screaming Eagle was extremely rough we were both miserable. The Boss was the best wooden coaster but it was pretty painful as well. We tried the Justice League interactive ride which malfunctioned and shut down mid ride. We had to wait for them to repair it so we could make it back to the front and get off. It's also a pretty small park for the price. I can see why people prefer to pay for a season pass than all that money for one day. read more

This is a great park if you like walking all the way to a ride to discover it is closed. 5 of the rides we were looking forward to were closed for no apparent reason. I got the dining passes and regret it. The staff didn't know how to deal with it and when I finally got a pretzel, it was bad at best. I was a passholder for a dozen years, but let it lapse the past few years. I renewed this past sale. We spent the day in Hurricane Harbor. The entire back of the park was closed - 5 attractions. No lazy river, the 3 tube slides were closed, and the Big Kahuna. I cannot carry the huge 4 person rafts up the stairs, so that left me with Wahoo Racers, the wave pool, and the kiddie area, where I was refused to use the slides because I did not have a child under 54" tall with me. We moved on to the main park to get food with our newly purchased meal passes. Despite being able to see them on our account, the restaurant couldn't redeem them and we had to go to guest services. They stated it was a known issue and immediately gave us a physical pass, but if they knew about it, why hasn't it been fixed? I'm not much on spinny rides, so I looked for my favorite calm rides. They were all closed. My child was in line for Mr. Freeze before closing, and as told he couldn't ride because they were closing the ride early. All in all it was a disappointing visit and I wish I had stayed home and caught up on laundry and cleaning bathrooms. read more

The fact that I have been a paying member for years and spend hundreds of dollars a year just to come here for the weekend to encounter closed rides due to shortage of staffing ... day after day..And the haunted houses were the worst they have ever been and we have been here 4 times before for fright fest. Not worth the money at all. They should be ashamed of themselves for charging such amounts knowing the fact that the haunted houses this year has minimal scares and barely any actors. I don't like to write negative reviews, but I feel it's called for here. St Louis is my hometown so I always loved going to Six Flags as a kid. It was just a magical place, always fun and different. Decided to take the better half and her boy to Six Flags back on 7/15, since the weather wasn't too hot. Wow, what a mess. Seemed like more rides were closed than open. What's up with maintenance? So the lines were ridiculously long. The place just looks so dated and old. The workers are undoubtedly not being paid fair wages, so I can't fault them. Just seems like this is a business that needs management cleaned out and get some people with vision and understand how to deliver top notch service. (Think City Museum, a FAR better experience IMHO) I'll be back sometime and will update this then, hopefully with a better review. read more

My family and I all have memberships to Six Flags, and visit the parks often. For us, Six Flags is the closest. So, it is our "home park", and we go often. The kids always have a blast. On top of the normal theme park rides, games, and food. Six Flags also hold events such as "Fright Fest" and "Holiday in the Park". The staff is always polite and willing to help, even if they are unable to accomplish what you want. One thing unique to this location is that if you have medically necessary equipment in a bag, you can get a medical sticker at the bag check. This allows you to leave your bag with a ride attendant, even on rides that don't typically allow it. For my family, we carry Epipens, which allows us to get a medical sticker. As far as the rides go, other Six Flags are better. If this park is the closest to you, enjoy it. If you live closer to another park, however, go there. read more

First timer Rides are out of this WORLD !! Would definitely come back. BUT They need some help with there food services. Bought the meal kit (2 meals, 1 snack, and day pass endless refills for drinks). They service was horrible, when we got lunch they double charged us and so when we tried to get dinner we didn't have are pass. They people helping us were using the same gloves.. watched one girl cash us out at the register follow us to our food. I watched her touch her hair multiple times while handling our food (no glove change the entire time). We were given no sauce after asking multiple times for them while standing in front of the station where the sauces were. Also had the endless refills drinks, stood for 10-15 mins in front of the soda machine and no one came to help us. No hairnets are used so the employees wear their hoodies over the top of their heads, but the girls long hair still tangle out of the hood and down to their waist dragging against the food counter. read more

I made a lengthy review about my family taking a trip here and their employee Jason, who intimidated myself, my family and some random strangers as well. We spent over 2k on tickets and parking alone. I received a comment on here (3 months later) and they offered me "two complimentary" tickets for the 2021 season. I stated that I lived in the Midwest and it gets cold here super fast and requested tickets for the 2022 season, they denied and stated they could only do two tickets and that does NOT include parking. I rode 3 hours on a bus with my friend's school expecting to have a great weekend before Halloween. I entered the park smoothly. No one stopped me to tell me my costume was inappropriate. After a hour at the park, we exited to go explore STL until the Fright Fest festivities began. Upon re-entry, sexist security team members Fred and Ross profiled me for wearing a costume that said Pussy Power during Fright Fest. I was denied re-entry into the park. Ross refused to allow to turn my shirt inside out. Ross refused to escort me to gift shop to purchase another shirt. Ross refused to allow my friend to purchase me a shirt so that I could put my costume in our book bag. Security gave me the option to throw away my shirt, put it in the car, or leave the park. The bus had left the property so I did not have the option to put my shirt in the car. These sexist team members refused to allow me to speak to a manager of sales or guest services. Instead, I was threaten to be arrested for trespassing for wearing a costume that was not deemed inappropriate originally. read more

At the a bbq place wasn't bad but wished they used Mexican chips. For the rides there not bad but not sure why the back half was closed they claim it was due to the cold. Wasn't busy which is good. The membership is pretty cheap 54 dollars for the season and you can use it any six flags. Idk if this is a short term promo deal or just the regular price for this season I believe my passes were 75% off either way it was pretty affordable for my family of 4 and I. Unfortunately that was the only thing affordable and you can not bring in your own food or drinks. The price gouging here is ridiculous but to be expected as most theme parks over charge for it ALL! It's only worth it if you have a few bucks to spare or actually live in the area or if experience is most important to you!! Overall pretty good rides and fairly clean park. Horrible customer service. I lost my phone on the Batman ride. Walked around the park for 20 minutes trying to find security because apparently not one vendor had their number? How scary if actually a really violent situation breaks out and no one can actually contact security? I asked game workers, retail workers, ride works, not one worker could track down security for me. Once I finally found someone they told me to fill out some lost and found form I could find online that's run by a 3rd party vendor in a completely different state. It was as if I had lost a $1 fanny pack. That office didn't give a rip I lost an iPhone 13 pro that cost $1,000. Since no one was helping (or even appeared to care!) I decided to look for it myself. After walking around I finally found it just over the fence in the restricted area. I informed a manager who was nice, but not helpful. She took a picture of the phone and said they would get the phone after close. Which sounds nice but I live 6 hours away and was traveling with 50+ people leaving on a bus. Even though it was a bummer the phone was in broad daylight and just over the fence. I'd be thrilled just to get it back, or at the very least get an update on the situation. Yet I've made a phone call, filled out the lost and form link, used the chat featured and while in the park talked to security, I've still yet to be notified of anything. I get not having much communication if you lose your $10 hat. Happens all the time. I get it. But to lose a $1,000 phone and then be told "the best we can do is to have you wait for an email" from a 3rd party company? Hate to right this review but that's pathetic. Want to know the kicker of it all? I always take out my phone and put it in my hat on roller coasters.... Did it on every coaster I rode that day. Yet the Batman ride doesn't allow you to? All you can place to the side of the Batman ride is your water bottle. Sad that this was a solvable problem before it was lost. The reason I wrote this review is that one I obviously hope to get my iPhone 13 pro back. But 2, someone higher up needs to know about the horrible security situation. Horrible if true the workers can't even call security. Mind blowing how bad the customer service has been, but unfathomable if workers can't call security. I was either lied to by all the workers for some odd reason? Or there's a SERIOUS problem workers can't contact their own security. A nice, mid-sized Six Flags park in mid-America. I made a trip from Chicago (roughly ~5 hours) just to visit this park, and I'm glad I did. Having a season's pass allowed me to visit two days in a row, and both occasions were pleasant with minimal wait times for rides. Six Flags St Louis [a.k.a. SFSL] boasts three fantastic wooden coasters--those being Screamin' Eagle, American Thunder, and The Boss--and a real crowd-pleaser in Mr Freeze Reverse Blast. Ninja and the River King Mine Train are thoroughly uninspired, but they're coaster credits nevertheless. Apart from coasters, the park has a giant drop ride, river rapids, SkyScreamer (a 200ft tall swing ride), giant ferris wheel, log flume, and the new-for-2015 Justice League Battle, an interactive dark ride shooter. They also have several 'carbon-copy' coasters that can be found nearly anywhere (Batman, Pandemonium, Boomerang), none of which are special. In fact, Boomerang was closed on my visit, but I wasn't disappointed in the slightest since it's a Vekoma shuttle that's likely a nominee for the "Most Unoriginal Coaster Award". I say this because there are literally 52 Boomerangs operating worldwide. As I was recovering from a mysterious insect bite (radioactive spider, fingers crossed), use of the waterpark was a no go for me, hence I cannot comment on Hurricane Harbor which is included with a season's pass but not with a single visit admission. The park itself is a little tough to navigate in and around; I got a wee bit lost several times but eventually figured it out. I found general ride operations to be fluid and the coaster dispatchers highly efficient. There was a great amount of camaraderie amongst the station attendants, many of whom were smiling or playfully cracking jokes. Care to guess what the longest lines in the park were? If you answered 'the food', go ahead and treat yourself to a $6 corn dog because you'd be right! I talked to one woman who waited upwards of 30 minutes for a BBQ turkey leg. To be fair, that thing looked delicious (she claimed it was worth the excruciating wait), but half an hour is waaay-hay-hay too long to be standing around for noms. I never bothered with eating inside due to the high prices and long waits; all I got was bottled soda from vending machines equipped with credit card readers--nifty! 3.5/4, but I feel like rounding up because all three wooden coasters were sensational and exclusive to SFSL. Workers were friendly and the park was kept surprisingly clean. This Six Flags property is more on the modest size (in line with SFFT in San Antonio), but I had a pleasant enough time to give them the benefit of the doubt. We kept asking where we can get our picture pass and dining pass, and we kept getting told different things. By the time we actually got our dinning pass it was close to 3:00 pm. So we went to eat at Johnny Rickets for lunch. Not Only did they over charge us by over $40 and I had To point it out to a worker and 2 managers. Then when they re rang the order we received over $60 back but all 3 employees had long hair that hung. One so long that it hung in the ice. I pointed it out tactfully but they didn't take measures to correct it. They actually ignored me and it took my husband to go up to correct the issue for anything to be done. I had a lot of fun riding the exquisite roller coasters. The near death experiences left a adrenaline that I've never felt before rush through my body. Though these experiences were life changing, they left me mighty parched and I sadly had no money for drinks because they were very expensive. The lack in beverage is would be fine if there was more seating in the shade. This however isn't the case as there is nowhere in the entire park that allows maximum booty comfort while staying away from the sun. Thank you and goodbye. read more

employees at the booth are terrible and rude to children .Don't allow you to park in the area you paid for the proceeds to scream at my daughter and her boyfriend while they try explaining they have preferred parking as it states on their pass . After they park far away then they are told the have to have their drivers license to gain entry into fright fest as they can't use their season pass to verify their age . To be treated so poorly by a place that charges unreasonable amounts of money for primarily children , teens and younger adults ,should at least hire employees that can have the patience to handle dealing with a younger crowd and treat people with respect as they are the only reason you are getting paid . without the customers you wouldn't have a job there . I'm a Six Flags fan. I worked there many years ago and I've always loved the park. I went back a couple weeks ago after a few years being away...and boy, was I surprised. The park is in desperate need of repair. There were weeds everywhere. No attention to grounds-keeping at all. Almost every surface was chipping paint and looked abandoned. It looked like nothing had been painted for years. Food service is really lacking. High prices for bad service and mediocre food. The rides are fine.
