We had a good experience with Allegiance Water Services overall - everyone we interacted with was…read morefriendly, professional, and great about communicating. They were able to narrow down our water leak to the main irrigation line and brought out a listening device to try to pinpoint exactly where the leak was located. Unfortunately, they weren't able to find it with the listening equipment. My main concern was that injecting gas into the line to further localize the leak was never presented to us as another option. Instead, the recommendation was to replace the entire mainline, which would have been a fairly substantial project and required cutting through our concrete patio. Given the scope of the proposed work, we decided to get a second opinion before moving forward. The second company injected gas into the irrigation line, rapidly located the leak (thankfully nowhere near the patio), and was able to repair that specific section without any major construction necessary. Overall, Allegiance was very pleasant to work with and I suspect they're quite good for many plumbing and water-related issues. Based on our experience, though, if you have an irrigation leak they can't locate with the listening device and the next recommendation is a complete line replacement, I'd definitely get a second opinion and ask whether gassing the line is an option before committing to a much larger project.

Buyer Beware I hired this irrigation company to repair my…read moredrip irrigation system. During the initial visit, I was told that the water pressure was too high and that a regulator should be installed. I was charged $395 for the work, including the regulator. A couple of weeks later, I noticed that one of my drip lines was no longer shutting off properly. This had not been happening before the original repair, so I contacted him and asked him to come back and address the problem. When he returned, he told me that the issue had nothing to do with the work he had performed. He then said that he did not want to do the work and that he was not comfortable working for me because he felt that I did not trust him. I had given him no reason to feel that way. I simply wanted the irrigation problem fixed. He said he would refund $219, which he said was the amount I had paid for the regulator. In my experience, the way this situation was handled was very disappointing and unprofessional. If you hire someone to perform a repair and a related problem occurs shortly afterward, I believe the customer should at least be treated respectfully and have the issue properly addressed. Buyer Beware. I would not use this service again.
