My wife and I went in to Buy a bed close to there closing time. Eddie Saiza the store manager took his time even though we got there kinda of late. He didn't rush us and didn't push any bed on us. He had us use the machine to tell us what we need and even after that he walked us through each bed we asked about. He was very patient and knowledgeable. My plan was simple: buy myself an affordable, soft, comfortable bed. But what mattress do I choose? confusion anxiety and fear of buying the wrong mattress sets in. Luckily,  Anita,  the  sales representative Had my wife and I answer a few simple questions. Next we lay on a bed,  a computer (that's plugged up to the bed) would gather information on our body mass,  and favorite sleeping positions. After the scan is complete we would know exactly what mattress/firmness we would need to get a full restful sleep.   Anita then did everything she possibly could to make sure my wife and I were pleased with our  purchase. My Wife and I spent most of a perfectly good Saturday and wasted it by shopping for a mattress. By 5:30PM we finally made it to Sit and Sleep. (must do due diligence.) Monica greeted us and asked key questions; and I swear she had our decision down to two choices in maybe 20 minutes. Literally; " I think you'll like either one of these". My Wife being more back sensitive then me took lead on this one. And it came down to two different Serta models. As we jumped from one mattress to the other, Monica explained in detail the difference of the two and their feature and functions. I was surprised to learn that Sit and Sleep doesn't carry their own branded mattress; which I'm not opposed to buying. They only carry the top 10 selling brands in the country. Monica is a wealth of knowledge, she not only knows Sit and Sleep products, but also knows the competition and a lot of industry knowledge, materials, how it's made, and most importantly to me; where it's made. We bought the Perfect Sleeper. I don't think Sit and Sleep was significantly less expensive for the same mattress else where; maybe even about the same but having a professional sales person like Monica makes all the difference. When we walked in we were greeted by Eddie and he guided us right through the steps needed to walk out the door with the mattress that fit our needs. My husband and I went to sleep n sleep and was greeted by Rich Pinnix. Rich is a fast talker but not in "I'm trying to bamboozle you"way. He's truly delightful. We felt very comfortable with Rich. After asking a few questions he goes right to work. My husband and I were placed on a special mattress that determines the best mattress for each of our specific need. After reviewing the information,Rich showed us several mattresses. The prices varied.Rich didn't try to persuade us in anyway. He's very knowledgeable. He told us about each mattress and the different bases and encouraged us to let our bodies make the decision. Sit n sleep was our first stop so we left and went to a couple of more places. Sleep Number was one of them. Sleep Number is extremely costly but putting cost aside the mattress Rich help us with was honestly more comfortable . Went in to purchase a mattress Labor Day weekend. Waited around 15 min before a salesperson helped us. A couple that got there after we did, was helped immediately, so that was annoying. The total ended up being $599 for a Sealy queen w/frame. The salesman, Ali, who apparently was also the store manager, said our bed would be delivered the next day & that the driver would call an hour before the delivery. Around 4pm on Sunday, we called the store to find out where our mattress was & apparently Ali called us after we left the store to tell us they could not deliver the next day because of the holiday & that it would have to be the following Tuesday. He claimed to have called once & left a voice mail & assumed because we did not call back, that it was ok for a Tuesday delivery. He also said that the reason he did not call the other contact number was because he missing a digit. I told him it was very unprofessional. He should have called the number that he had written down correctly, more than once. Most of us have learned that when you assume u make an ass of yourself. I told him that I wanted my matress that day, if I was going to receive it on Tuesday I wanted it at a discount, or to just give me a refund. A refund is what I got and when I went in to the store to get my refund, he was very hostile about me calling him out on how I did not appreciate the bad customer service. It seems that with the bigger chain stores, the care more about making money than helping the customer. As soon as I left the store I stopped at another mattress store around the corner, Sleep Pros, and they helped me out with a bed then and there at a better price, better quality & they even threw in a frame for free. Bottom line, I do not recommend Sit 'n' Sleep in Upland. read more
