DOUGLAS! You are a phenomenal person. You made our experience here so easy and enjoyable. We didn't feel pressured to buy at all. You listened to our needs, you took your time and worked with our likes and dislikes. We are extremely happy with our shopping experience. Thank you for being you! read more

I came in here about 4 weeks ago and bought a new mattress. Sadly to say it wasn't a good fit. I went back to Sit'n Sleep and met with Ali who was kind and took all the time needed to find a mattress that was much better suited. I really appreciate his/the companies patience and time to ensure a proper fit. Thanks Ali and Sit'n Sleep. read more

Recently purchased our first mattress with my boyfriend and Ali (store manager) was amazing. He took the time to get to know us and helped pick out the best mattress for us. Keep in mind he had four other customers and was working alone. Amazing customer service! Wasn't pushy or frustrated by the overwhelmed of customers. I've already recommend this store to a coupe of friends. read more

Danny-Sleep Consultant! Make sure to ask for Danny when you walk in the door. He is not your typical salesman pushing the most expensive unnecessary items and bed towards you. He takes time to find and talk with you about what the best option is for you. He will give you a few options to try and will give you plenty of time to test the beds. He is fantastic and answers all your questions! He really wants to help! Thanks Danny!!!! read more

UPDATE: Long story short, after reaching out (read: complaining) the folks at Sit'N'Sleep tried to make nice and get me to re-order. While hesitant, eventually I did. While I obviously wasn't happy with my first experience (see below), in the end they compensated me for my troubles (read: their mistakes) and I wound up with a great bed and a very fair price. ******************** ORIGINAL REVIEW HERE: I thought I was going to have a pretty decent experience. Salesman was extra friendly, didn't seem to be hocking more expensive beds on me (I was already looking at $2K mattresses) and then made up my mind. He told me that the price at SnS was about as good as any other place around. (This is in Glendale, in the "Bed District") I was willing to believe him. But he tells me that the annoying thing is that the other guys will undercut their best price by $5 but then fail to be able to deliver anytime soon. OK, fine. I'll buy this mattress right here and now. Upon settling up I find out that, wouldn't you know it, SnS can't deliver this mattress for another week. I.e., the EXACT SITUATION HE WARNED US AGAINST with the other guys on the street. Well, you know what? I'm gonna laugh it off. Why be so testy, right? I've been needing a new mattress for weeks, maybe months, so what's a few extra days. I don't even say anything to Mr. Smooth Salesman. BUT THEN ... I get a call a couple days later, from Mr. Smoothy, who tells me, aw geez, it's gonna be a few days later than he promised (i.e., a few days later than the already long wait we agreed to). I'm not pleased. I consider cacelling right there, but I decide to just take a deep breath. Do I really feel like heading back to the stores and doing this whole thing again? No, I do not. So the day before delivery comes and I'm excited. The phone rings. Long story short, they can't deliver in the morning of the scheduled delivery day, only later afternoon. Well, I can't be home during those hours. I call the store, tell them the situation. They refuse to accommodate me. I cancel my order. I feel abused, subjected to terrible service, deception, etc. I will never shop at Sit N Sleep again. read more

Danny from SitnSleep was very helpful sales person. He was knowledge, professional and excellent service! I will definitely recommend him to friends and relatives. read more

Went in to purchase a matress. Danny Shebat was the salesperson. He gave me a "deal or discount" on a matress and an adjustable bed. Two days later its delivered. The adjustable beds were the display beds they use at the store. Both boxes we're open. And one of the beds was broken. After speaking with the General Supervisor, Danny claims that he told me he was selling an open box item, thats why it was such a great deal. Never did he say anything or signed anything saying it was an open box sale. The General Supervisor was able to help me out, but still upset over this sale. Still unfair. The store manager Joe was even there. Very unprofesional. read more

Unfortunately my box spring didn't fit through the door. Jesus the super nice manager was able to set me up with a split box spring with a discount because he read my review! Thanks again! I'm anxiously awaiting delivery. This mattress though is perfect and sleep is a dream! read more

We came here a few years back to get our Tempurpedic mattress. The older guy who helped us was very nice, immediately seeked us out and gave good attention, despite the fact I came in with a t-shirt and such (as opposed to across the street they didn't give us the time of day). Answered all questions and was very professional, and 30 minutes later we bought a very expensive mattress that we've been satisfied with for the last 3 years. read more

We had a GREAT experience with Steve Moreno!! He found us a mattress that my husband and I could both agree on and we are really excited for our new bed. We were across the street at Ortho first but didn't really see what we were looking for and there was a guy in there telling us "Bro,this is the only place to buy a mattress, bro!", so that was annoying. Nothing against Ortho but it also smelled REALLY heavy of strange cologne and Sit n Sleep smelled clean and neutral and that's a plus when buying a bed. Steve also sold us the pillows that have the cooling gel and they seem amazing. We kept laying down so we could rest out head on the pillows( I think they are tempurpedic, but I'm not sure) but they have some cooling gel and it was soooo nice. Long story long, we loved Steve!! Thank you! read more

I found this location here on Yelp and thought I would try it out. I was NOT disappointed. It was a Friday night so there wasn't anyone there, and I was actually surprised I was attacked when I walked in. I actually had to wait a bit for someone to walk up to me....a bit refreshing. I was in and out of there in about 30 minutes...was a breeze. Highly recommended. read more

From start to finish our experience with Sit N Sleep was 5 star. If you want someone who knows how to fit you to the right mattress it would be Doug Lunsford. Man! That guy knows his stuff! Asked my hubby and I questions about sleep habits etc.Kept it easy and fun.Gave us time to look around, helped us narrow down our choices, stayed within budget and came out with the best mattress we have ever slept on! read more

My husband and I went there to find a couple bed/ mattress. And Daniel or Danny (I cant remember exactly which name) there helped us to choose the most suitable one for both of us. He is very helpful and patient. Its almost a year passed and we still very happy with our choice of mattress. thank you Danny/ Daniel read more

I went in to just take a look at some new beds and was helped by Alejandro! He was very helpful and worked with me to explain all of the options that they have. Although I didn't end up buying a bed from here, the customer service was great! read more

We bought a mattress from Danny S. He is a terrific sales person. He cut right to it and answered our questions, gave us great advice and helped us select the perfect mattress that fit all our requirements. I don't like buying mattresses but Danny changed that this time. He really made sure we were happy and we appreciate it. I would highly recommend him and this particular store for a mattress purchase. Thanks, Danny. read more

Wayne Hargraves was super helpful! He found us a mattress at a reasonable price and was very courteous and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this store and definitely ask for Wayne! read more

This place has a really great selection of beds, but my experience with Joe was way too "used car salesman"-y. All the schticks were there- dragging on the negotiating process as long as possible to wear you down, throwing numbers at you to confuse you, deflecting or outright refusing to answer any questions you may have regarding prices/quality, and my favorite- the "you better take the deal now OR THE PRICE/BED WON'T BE THERE TOMORROW!!" schpiel. At the end I had to walk out of there because his pushiness was incredibly off-putting and I just couldn't TRUST the guy. read more

Danny and Rene were awesome! They were efficient in delivering our mattress and I would use them again!

GREAT SERVICE! WE'VE BEEN COMING HERE FOR A LITTLE OVER 15 years. This place is very accommodating. Wayne is super helpful, he is thorough with all information needed to know when buying the perfect bed. Wayne is veeeerryy patient with us and able to work within my budget. THANK YOU, WAYNE! read more

The salesperson never mentioned to us that there was a no money refund only Exchange. We bought a adjustable bed that doesn't even work properly spent over $1,000 and I can't even get a refund or an exchange on something else. The only thing that they will allow you to exchange is the mattress which doesn't make sense that I can exchange a mattress but not an adjustable bed. We are now exchanging our mattress because they fail to bring us the one that I picked at the store. Your return policy is a joke !! Shame on you sit n sleep after spending $5,000 on your store this is how we get treated. read more

I ordered a bed at the store located in Ontario,Ca but left unsure at the manager's assurance though I needed a bed as soon as possible. The next day, I came here to Glendale,Ca with my parents to look at some dressers that matched their bed frame (of which they bought a year ago in the same store) with the great help of Joe.( he's the reason why they came back) He seemed very helpful and I explained my situation. I couldn't be any more happier.. I Highly Recommend Joe Romero. Best place to buy a tress.. You can TRUST Joe, like I did! read more

We got to the store 15 minutes early but they let us in. Joe Romero was immediately at our service with answers, details and suggestions. He wasn't pushy when we told him we'd be back after looking around. He made us a great deal and ultimately we chose to take it and are very excited to go to bed at night and sleep on our new mattress. Pure bliss. read more

Did a "comfort exchange" here rather than Pasadena - service was significantly more knowledgable and friendly. Ask for "Chris". More integrity than Abe Lincoln and sweeter than a box of chocolates. Answered all of our questions for a good 45 min, knew and compared every aspect and detail of all the beds we were interested in, down to the gauge of the springs in every mattress, incl. warranties! Dare I say awesome all around? read more

Had a great experience here with Joe. Originally I was only planning to come in just to check prices, but he was so helpful and gave a good enough deal that I decided I'd go ahead and get it that day instead of waiting. I will definitely go back next time I need a mattress. read more

This matress store is the greatest, not only the great beds but also the great people who work ther. We were lucky enough to be helped by Kent, a real problem-solver with can-do attitude, who made us feel right at home. We didn't have the right matress before, and he did an awesome job taking care of us, getting us just what we needed, and handling all the logistics himself so that we did not have to wait around. Two thumbs up from my fiancee and me!!! read more

Bought a Beautyrest mattress on Memorial Day. Got a pretty good deal. Chris was the sales person who helped us. I would recommend you ask for him by name, as opposed to Joe. read more

By far the worst customer experience! Came in here obviously to purchase a mattress. Javier V "assistant manager" assisted me and he was just completely rude, and kept giving me the run and around "come back when you are serious about purchasing" HELLO, obviously there to do so, he was getting aggravated as I was asking questions about pricing! Bad customer service, never getting my business! read more

I thought Danny was excellent, and I liked the whole experience. Their computerized bed type evaluation isn't hokum. I did an independent bed test online (which had MANY manfacturers) and the exact same bed that he recommended came up on the website. I am NOT reviewing the bed - or hasn't been delivered yet. I'm reviewing the STORE and our excellent, informed salesperson. Highly recommend. THEY matched the price we found online (ironically on their own website, which was lower than the store price). read more

My husband and I have been sleeping on the same ikea mattress we bought the year we were married.....8 years ago....not ok We recently decided to redecorate our room and buy a "grown up" bed. You know, the kind of bed that makes you feel your age. Haha It was Labor Day , we knew there would be sales and we had a sitter! We started at another store around the corner and high tailed it out of there in under 10 minutes. We walked into sit and sleep and met Javier Villalpando. Great guy. He got my husband and I to try a mattress test program ( I can't believe he got my husband to do that) and off we went looking for the mattress that was the best fit for us. My favorite thing about the experience was that Javier didn't push us to try the most expensive beds. He showed us 3 great fits in various ranges. I am a big fan of the soft sell. He was busy enough to give us some space ( Labor Day) but not so busy we didn't get personal attention. We left with a brand new mattress, adjustable base AND a bed frame. We are super happy with our purchase and appreciate Javier for his guidance! read more

Chris Hyland, awesome person very helpful and personable.... Love it pls stop by and get your new mattress here.

After shopping for a mattress all afternoon on "Mattress Row" here in Glendale we decided to check out Sit n Sleep just to make sure the deal we had lined up across the street was THE BEST. We walked in and meet with Danny. Told him what our requirements were and the budget. He showed us an amazing mattress that was perfect for both of us. 15 minutes later I was giving him my credit card and out the door to buy new sheets. I highly recommend coming here while hunting for the best deal and great customer service. Thanks again Danny! read more

We've been to almost all mattress stores in Glendale and Pasadena looking for the perfect match for mattress quality vs cost.. From the minute we stepped into the shop, Vicky welcomed us with a big smile and lots of positive vibes. She was able to guide us through different kinds of mattresses and find us the perfect match within our budget in less than 15 mins. This was the most pleasant mattress shopping experience ever. Highly Recommended. Mare sure you ask about Vicky! read more
