I purchased a mattress from Sit and Sleep maybe around a year ago...it was horrible so I sent it back for another(same brand) and that one was bad too...soooo onward to the store in Newport and picked a differnt one after a couple or 3 month that one had me laying in a hole just like the other one plus it felt like there was a pile down the middle and when I tried to get out of the whole I was on the pole and rolled right back over to the whole. A service person came over and checked it and yes there was an indentation of over 1.5". So off to the store to pick out another...(oh by the way every time I go back it costs me another $3-4 hundred dollars) So here I am AGAIN with another piece of junk another hole...I just called customer service and there are sending someone out AGAIN! I'm now wondering WHY DO I KEEP GETTING THESE DEFECTIVE MATTRESSES? I'm wondering if this company is purchasing seconds and selling them as perfect... Oh the last time I had to go in and chose and pay more I asked for my money back....,OH NO WE DON'T DO THAT.. HMMMMM maybe I should go to small claims court. Went in on the Sunday of Washington's Birthday holiday and store manager Chris helped us out. You are always a little apprehensive mattress shopping from past experiences, but this was different. Chris was amazing and made the trip worth while. Most imporatantly, he was very pleasant and engaging. He asked just the right questions to steer us in the right direction towards the best options. He gave us the right level of information and personal insights, and gave us penalty of space to test out without being overbearing nor disappearing. The customer service is really bad starting with the phones. We've had nothing but problems with our mattress and box spring purchase. Twice had to exchange and was given major hassles. The problem is still ongoing. I would NOT recommend them at all. We just want to return everything and go somewhere else. Watch out what they say. if I could go lower than 1 I would! purchased a $6000 bed was told it was returnable with a small restock charge. after my handicapped husband fell out of the bed due to its extremely soft sides and we had to call paramedics to get him off the floor we called to return the bed. surprise! only the mattress is returnable and only after 30 days; base is not returnable . this was written in small print and I did sign my name , my mistake to trust what I was told. I want to warn everyone interested in these beds pay close attention to the softness of the sides even when adjusted to the highest firmness setting. a bad experience from the product to the customer service! read more

The best mattress store in OC. I went to mattress firm in HB necause it was close to me. They have pushy salesman and not much knowledge in mattresses. I decided to look up on yelp and found these guys have great reviews. You walk in and they have cool technology to fit you with the perfect mattress. I chose the hybrid infinity cooling mattress and pillows. I sleep like a rock now and never wake up during the night. If you have trouble sleeping at night because you're hot like most men are. I bought my tempurpedimattress almost a year ago with a very high price tag which I'm still paying for. The guy who sold me the mattress was very pushy. My mattress caves in the middle and is very hot. Also even though it's supposed to be queen sized, all my queen sized sheets seem to be too big for it. I'm So sad that something I invested so much money in that's supposed to last me for many years, I'm not happy with. Update: after posting my review I received a call from the store manager Floyd offering me a mattress swap even though 9 months has passed. They didn't even charge me a restocking fee. This store gives excellent service. We bought two adjustable beds 6 years agoand we got great service from first to last at that time. They lived up to their promise to meet any legitimate price, and the delivery service was excellent. We love the beds but recently had a problem when the remote fell and broke. The Extended Warranty by Guardian provided no help at all, but the manager at SitnSleep went out of his way to help, spending a full hour finding the right remote at a great price and ordering it to be shipped. We got it 2 days later, got help on how to install it, and we are now happy sleepers once again. I recommend this store without reservation: great prices, and even greater service. We purchased a bed and adjustable frame from the Costa Mesa store. At the store, we dealt with Chris Miller, who was very knowledgeable and helpful in assisting us in selecting the mattress and frame. Unknowingly, we told Chris we had a king size bed that we would be replacing. When the crew delivered the bed, they informed us that our bed was a Cal King. We called Chris who took care of everything in about ten minutes. The delivery crew took away the bed they had with them and we had the correct bed delivered the next day (the problem was the headboard wouldn't fit on a king size frame). A very pleasant experience. I had the best salesman, his name was Chris and he actually took the time to explain how the mattresses were made the difference between certain kinds and I left there feeling like I was actually going to really like my new mattress. We've been sleeping on the same mattress for 20 years. So when we stopped into the Newport Beach, with our own pillows, at SitnSleep it was long overdue. We were fortunate to have Kevin as our salesperson. He expertly determined the best mattress for us. Kevin had us try the private label brand. While perfectly comfortable we insisted on the national brand (Beautyrest) we were familiar and zeroing in on a model. We decided to see if the price was truly the lowest as SitnSleep. Unable to find the mattress product name to compare, it became obvious I needed to call the manufacturer. They provided us with the manufacturer name. With that, I was able to research and found the mattress online for about 10% less. I was reluctant to go back to Kevin, but so glad I did. SitnSleep honored their "Larry" ad and not only matched the competition price, but beat it by $30. We returned the $30 to SitnSleep with a mattress cover. Kevin completed our order with a handshake and a smile. After one night of sleep it was clear we made the right decision trusting Kevin.
