My family and I have been long time customers and come to this specific location every couple of years for our new mattresses sadly this year was NOT PLEASANT upon arriving I was approached by Angie she asked us if we needed help I told her what I liked she then showed us a few mattress but while we stopped and looked she became frustrated and said "she wasn't going to follow us around she was tired" so I continued shopping when I approached her to let her know I had made my final selection and was ready to begin the purchasing process she didn't seem pleased I asked her questions like how much will the box spring be she answered with attitude somewhere in the range of 199 and 299 I then asked about delivery and if it would be free she looked up and said yes feee delivery then began to Look away. It was not the simplicity of her answers that bothered me it was the lack of customer service it seemed as if we were dragging her to help us and with being a returning customer I would've thought I would be treated better. Sad to say I will NOT be returning to this location or business and I will notify friends and family not to return as well. He introduced himself and have me and my family time to look around without the uncomfortable following you around looking desperate to sell you something. Mattress shopping made easy. My wife and I rushed into the store 20 minutes before the store closed thinking we would lay on some mattresses and maybe find one we would both like. Robert Cueva, saw how lost we looked when we first came into the store. He then came over and got us started with identifying our sleep comfort color. From there he took us around to several mattresses based on our sleep positions. He ended up helping us out an hour and half after the store closed to make sure we really were buying the mattress we really wanted. He did rush us and suggested that we keep going back to mattress we really liked and comparing to a different we thought was comfortable. I knew what I wanted to pay for a mattress and I was determined to stick to my budget! I was shown a couple of mattresses that suited my needs to help me get a good night's sleep. I appreciated the fact that no one laughed at me as I laid down on the mattresses in different positions just to see if these would work for me. After tossing and turning on two different mattresses, I made my decision and purchased a queen size mattress. I really appreciated the fact that she did not try to persuade me to buy something that I wasn't really looking for. This made me feel comfortable enough to return to this location for a second purchase in the near future! I was informed that my mattress would be delivered on Tuesday between 10:45 AM and 2:45 PM but I was surprised to receive a phone call around 9:00. They were actually coming earlier than expected! They showed up at 9:30 AM!!!!! I was elated to have them deliver my mattress ahead of schedule because I didn't have to sit around all day long, waiting for them to show up! Amazing bed shopping experience. This was mostly due to our salesman Johnny Maldonado. Very knowledgeable and didn't pressure us to picking the right bed at all. We ended up buying one bed but changed our mind before it was delivered. He gave us a great price and made the changes with no issues. Never again!!! Bought our mattress about 4 years ago and now it has a lump in the middle. According to warranty it should last minimum of 8yrs.Well we have warranty and they sent a 3rd party to check mattress. They declined our request to repair or replace and now I know they bank on people either getting a decline or not bothering to call and exchange. I won't say or name the person who told us this but what a rip off! This was a very expensive mattress for what it lasted. I asked for the report and the report included a picture that was not our beds. My husband said forget them we will go elsewhere. DO NOT BUY A MATTRESS FROM SIT AND SLEEP! There Customer Service is AWFUL!!! We purchased a mattress and after a few months both me and my husband began to experience BACK PAIN! We called and they stated they could exchange mattress at a restocking fee of $400. We said no problem, went in to the center in COMMERCE, CA., the sales representative convinced us to have an inspection of our mattress. Went through this process, (It is an outside company, we rescheduled once, they no showed the next time and finally we got a date that they came and inspected). The inspection came back with needs more review in 6 months, and the only reason I got this information is because I had to CALL Sit in Sleep. This is not the problem, I am OK with the inspection being inconclusive, so I told the REP on phone that we would then like to pay the $400 to exchange mattresses as our backs still have pain. He (said NO because we did not take them up on offer which was given previously. I asked him to reconsider since we went in and spoke to a sales person at Commerce and they recommended the inspection. I asked to speak to a manager, she went on and on on how we took to long, I explained to her that the inspection took longer then expected do to scheduling issues with the company they recommended! She DID NOT CARE AT ALL! Not for our situation or our back pain! I was NEVER NEVER TOLD THERE WAS A TIME FRAME TO GET OUR MATTRESS EXCHANGED! Let me tell you this this isn't years this is all within 6 months of owning mattress! The Customer service Manager at Sit and Sleep is HORRIBLE, "ROCIO DIAZ"! Got a email the next day on the delivery date. The delivery department called and emailed me the day prior to delivery to confirm the information. No stars deserved. Last time I ever go to the Commerce location. Went during the Labor Day sale. Advised I was given credit for defective mattresses. Therefore, I was exchanging but upgrading by paying the difference. We selected the mattresses. Presented a $100 off coupon. The store manager Angie rejected the coupon because we couldn't combine the discount. So we proceeded with the transaction. She stated she couldn't finalize the transaction because my father was using his sit n sleep cc and my return was under my name. Understandable, so we would need to wait for her phone call the next business day to say it was approved. She added she'll "honor/ hold" the price since the next day would be after Labor Day holiday. Funny how it's been days after the holiday and they're still advertising the holiday sale. So Angie gives us the go but we go back & forth over the delivery date. I stated both my husband and I work so no one would accept the delivery. She called her delivery team and states they give me the go for Saturday delivery. Then she called back stating unable to deliver on Saturday. So she left me no choice but to accept Friday morning delivery. Mind you, paperwork was signed and ID was copied. Come delivery time, the attempt for delivery was precise. HOWEVER,,, delivery team stated I owed a balance. What the?!?! How's that possible when they were suppose to charge the credit card. Phone calls were made to corporate since stores open till 10am. They claimed there was a pending balance. I gave them the ok to charge.... No charges can be made over the phone. So the delivery team took back my new mattresses. NO DELIVERY!!! I finally gets hold of complaints dept at corporate. Gave them the back story and I sent an angry email to Angie the manager. I tried my best to be professional. So corporate retrieved the details stating the store failed to provide the paperwork next day which is why I showed a pending balance. They rescheduled my delivery to Sunday and honored $100. Mind you, this is pretty much the coupon I was trying to use. So I asked corporate for more of a discount since I lost pay from my job. She referred to the manager for further approval. So next day Angie replies to my email apologizing and stating they had nothing to do with charging the card. I replied by stating corporate mentioned her store failed to overnight my paperwork. So requested an additional $100 for Friday's inconvenience and now Sunday's inconvenience. She claimed she had no authority. How's that when corporates referring me back to her?!?! She was VERY argumentative stating I needed to understand. No I don't!!!! Your mistake you fix it!!! Corporate handling your error. She said she would call corporate to verify if what I was saying was true. So I'm a lier now!!! I told her, get corporate on a three way call.. She neglected to do so. Now corporate calling on her behalf offering $60 sheets and two pillows of $100 each. More than what I'm asking. I said no thank you, I don't know the quality of your sheets and I seen your pillows (because my mom had those) I can pay less and get better quality from Ross. I stand by MY request of $100 credit as a principle for the inconveniences and the fact the manager made me upset with her NASTY tone. Management will be contacting me next week. At this point, I'm still waiting for my new mattresses and my new request. Let's see how this goes. read more

Robert Cuevas was our salesperson when we made our first purchase on a mattress as husband and wife. Steer clear of him if you are making the poor choice of going with Sit n' Sleep. We sat on the bed machine, Robert matched us with the color bed we needed, and the size we wanted, a Euro King. While there, we decided on buying a bed frame too since we preferred getting a 24 month rather than a 12 month, 0% interest financing on a mattress that we felt was over our budget already. As promised, the bed was delivered the following week, but without the frame. When I discussed this with Robert, he said that the frame we wanted was on back order and wouldn't be delivered for another 3 weeks. This news was upsetting already because we had waited a week, and he hadn't informed us of this while we were making the purchase. A competent and knowledgeable salesperson, in our opinion, would have a clue about their inventory. We would've chosen another frame that could be delivered in a week's time if this was the case. To help fix his mistake, Robert gave us a loaner bed frame while we waited for our frame to be delivered at no cost, which to us, seemed the least he could do. We slept on our bed happily for the next 3 weeks. Now it's been 3 weeks, and their delivery men have taken our loaner bed frame, but when we confirmed the delivery, we thought we were getting our bed frames delivered too, not that they were picking up their loaner bed frame only, leaving us with no frame for our bed. When I discussed this with Robert yesterday, he understood the situation that he put us in and said that the frame wouldn't be delivered until the 21st. I made it clear that this wasn't acceptable to us and that we wouldn't want the frame at all if it couldn't be delivered today. He said he would look into it with the manufacturer, but never gave me a call as to whether they could deliver it or not. Obviously, they couldn't. I'm giving him a one for his poor customer service and poor communication skills. It is clear that what was more important to him was making the sale, not customer satisfaction. And since Sit n' Sleep employs sales reps like him, and cannot deliver on their promises, we will not be making further purchases with them and will be advising our friends and family to go elsewhere for a mattress. read more

Worst experience, bought a expensive bed and frame. But wasn't told frame had slated. They came and set the bed up I wasn't there my son was but I guess he assumed that I old the slates. Well to make a long story short I had to call explain that the slates kept coming off. They said to go and pick another frame out. When I spoke to the agent I told her I needed a evening delivery being I worked in the day. Today I get a call saying they would be at my home in 10 Minutes. I'm across town. I told her I requested a later time and it was requested by the agent. I had even confirmed with there delivery and customer service. I said I'd be there at 4 pm the said the couldn't wait the extra 15 minutes. 15 minutes that's all I asked but was refused. What a stressful and inconvenient purchase this has been.
