We purchased 3 mattresses and 3 platform beds yesterday. Javier assisted us and we felt no pressure to buy anything from him. He gave us suggestions on the pros and cons of all the beds and mattresses we're looking at. I'm a big guy and the Encore Cal King luxury plush mattress that he recommended was superb, it arrived today and I took it for a spin (nap time.) Never felt anything like this in years with my old mattress, no turning and tossing whatsoever, it's like sleeping on a bed of cloud. Javier will work on you with your budget, taste and preference. Overall the perfect guy to assist you. read more

I would like to say that from the minute I walked into the sit and sleep in Commerce CA that my family and I were treated amazing and helped us get everything we needed within our sleep needs and budget. A+ in store experience. The delivery guys from T55 (Jesus, Ronnie and Fern) were outstanding. They got everything delivered and installed really fast. Also all 3 were perfect gentleman while at my home. Very polite and respectful. A+ Delivery team read more

Thank you Jesse lucero! Our mattress has been delivered early this morning like you said it would! Went to sit n sleep on Thursday night about hour and half before closing time for store. We where greeted by Jesse, who at the time was helping a customer. He took his time to ask if we had any questions. And he would be with us a soon as possible. Which gave us a good vibe. We stuck around and when he came back to help us he took his time to answer all our questions. He was very knowledgeable, kind and was able to direct and guide us towards the best mattress fit for us. Thank you for taking your time to answer all our questions and actually listen to all our concerns From the moment we walked in until we walked out never once did we feel rushed. read more

All the sit and sleep staff were great from day one . I purchased a Nectar mattress months back after going back and forth trying to decide what to choose in my price range . I initially dealt with Javier , who never once got impatient with my indecisiveness. I also worked with John who was equally as helps and patient . A few months into sleeping on the mattress, I found it to be anything but right for me . I want back about a week ago to inquire about exchanging the mattress. Again John and Javier were welcoming and accommodated a very easy exchange . Sit n sleep are obviously big on customer service and it shows . My two deliveries were also prompt with great customer service from the delivery guys . Thank you guys for being so patient throughout my long stretched transaction. I now have a mattress I am very happy with . read more

Yesterday we worked with John Diaz. I let John know up front that I already had a predeal worked up with another salesperson and that I was only in the store to get more info on beds and adjustables; an opening statement that in my past experience has caused a salesperson to back off. Jesus thanked me for being transparent with him and assured that he would still help educate me on beds, frames, adjustable bases, provide his recommendations etc. In the end, I spent about one hour with Jesus. He never made my wife and I feel uncomfortable or pressured us into anything else. Respect, bro. The sale was never his, yet I honestly felt like he deserved the sale. This kind of integrity, selflessness, expertise and genuiness to help is what makes John Diaz a rockstar. I highly recommend him!!! read more

I like this place!!!! I went in afraid and intimidated because I usually go to this mom and pop shop for my mattress. As soon as I got there, Mr. Johnny M. Was quick to approach me and help me decide what to get. I really appreciated Johnny's advice, expertise and patience! I walked out of there VERY HAPPY and best of all, I didn't feel like I was being pushed into purchasing and I actually think I got a great deal for my beautiful, vibrating, bed! :) Thanks, Johnny! You're awesome... and funny!!!! read more

Absolutely loved this place. The salesman Johnny was very professional and not pushy. He gave us options and was there tti answer any questions. The Branch Manager Keith was also great. You get the feeling of being treated like family. My husband and I have had a horrible experience at Bob's Discount and it was refreshing to come here and get "the red carpet" rolled out for you. I would strongly recommend coming here for your sleeping purchase. They have a whole array of styles of beds to suit your needs. See Johnny or Keith, as they make you feel welcome!! Thank you guys for everything!! read more

John was the best. He was very knowledgeable and gave me a great deal!! Those adjustable bases are crazy good. I can't wait for mine to be delivered. Ask for him and you won't be disappointed!!. I will be back again to purchase a mattress as well. read more

Definitely buying my next mattress with Dennis. Great customer service. Knowledgeable and very polite. Helped me with my exchange with no issues. Spoke spanish and made it easier for my mom to communicate. Awesome service all around. read more

First of all, the sales staff is great and very accommodating. They offered many options/ We chose Nectar and received the same price as the Nectar website but delivery was much quicker. The only issue I had is that the delivery guys scratched my bamboo flooring at the top of the second floor stair case. I don't know why but only one of the guys pushed the mattress up the stairs resulting in the scratch. Other than that I am completely satisfied with the bed and frame. read more

A little late but better late than never. The customer service my husband and I received was so good here that it was heavy on my mind to post this review! I wanted to commend John Diaz for such amazing service and the great deal he got us. John was very professional and king and I really appreciate the fact that he wasnt trying to upsell. We went in there not having any idea really what type of bed we wanted but John. Helped narrow that search really quickly and made the whole process simple and easy! Hopefully we wont be needing another bed anytime soon but in the future we definitely reccomend this store to anyone! read more

All I can say is: JACKIE MARTEL IS INCREDIBLE! I've bought a handful of mattresses from her and each purchase has been an easy and enjoyable experience. She is nothing short of warm, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. If you are looking to buy or even curious about purchasing a mattress, look no further and go straight to this store and ask for Jackie. She's your gal! First time at this branch and Javier Nunez was our mattress specialist. He was very patient with us and spent over 2.5 hours with us while we tried over 10-15 mattresses. He explained the pros and cons to each mattress and was never overbearing. He allowed time to make our decision and once we decided on our mattress he gave us an amazing deal. The stores has one of the most extensive choices for mattresses and has luxury brands as well as affordable ones. They also have many adjustable bases for your mattress as well. Overall wonderful experience and I would recommend any of my friends and family to Javier. read more

I waited 2 months to do this review, and now I can definitely recommend John Diaz as a knowledgeable salesman, in all aspects of the sale. I am one of those annoying, question & scenario askers, with an attitude, and I walked away feeling confident in my purchase with no buyers remorse (which I usually have with any purchase over $500). John asked me the right questions to know my perfect comfort level, and 2 month later, I still love my purchase! Thank you John! read more

DO NOT BUY A MATTRESS FROM SIT AND SLEEP!!!! There Customer Service is what I call AWFUL!!! When they finally decide to answer good luck because they will put you on hold and transfer your call until you are fed up and just hang up..We purchased a mattress and after 2 months my husband began to experience the worst BACK PAIN! We called and they stated they could exchange mattress at a restocking fee. Once you get to the store they tell you that the mattress is no longer available due to the company no longer making that style, Mind you when the mattress was purchased 2 months ago they claimed it was a new style.. We were forced to purchase another more expensive mattress otherwise we would not get a refund. SCAMMERS.. read more

They gave me a 3 hour window, smack in the middle of the day 1-4pm on a SATURDAY, and I had to call them at 4:15pm to find out where my delivery was??? Then they tell me that they are running behind and will be ANOTHER HOUR before they get here? Unbelievably disrespectful of my time. I had to spend my day off waiting for them and the customer svc rep just says sorry...NEVER AGAIN. read more

My boyfriend and I made an appointment for this store, but thankfully there were no other guests when we arrived so we were seen right away. Javier immediately helped us out. We explained what we were looking for and he showed us a variety of options. He had so much great advice for why we were experiencing issues with our old mattress. He did a great job explaining the products and why it was important to invest in a mattress protector. We ended up finding an amazing bed, pillows, mattress protector all within our price range! Our mattress was delivered at 9:30am the next morning! He's great and the prices of the other beds we were looking at were affordable too! read more

Walked into sit n sleep to look at a mattress after making the mistake of buying cheap ones from other furniture stores lol ! Was greeted by Johnny. I'm a picky buyer so I'm always gonna ask a hundred questions to learn about products and materials. Johnny had all the answers and patience I ended up buying a little more than what I walked in for because I realized sit n sleep prices are competitive I was able to afford an adjustable bed plus all the bedding for it. They gave me a discount and I got interested free financing for 24 months so if you walk in ask for Johnny the manager is very nice and will make it happen she through in a couple of free pillows now that's good old school service ! read more

We came in on a Sunday and was pleasantly greeted by the assistant manager Keith. We were handed some protective sheets so we can try out the mattresses. I was so impressed by his knowledge and how he answered our questions. We can't wait for our new mattress and adjustable base to be delivered. Thank you and we will definitely be back! read more

Awesome service. I went in just trying to look for something quick and not to expensive. I met a salesperson by the name of Mike Soqui. He was very polite and was able to help me pick the right mattress for my husband and I. We both took a test and found out that we were similar (mattress firmness). Mike showed us a couple of beds and all the ones we found were not only perfectly matched to our liking but the price was very good. My husband and I thought at first he would just be another sales guy trying to get us to buy a overpriced mattress lol (BTW Sorry) but Mike wasn't Iike that at all. Not only are we super happy with our purchase but we will definitely recommend this store and Mike to our friends and family. read more

We were in need of a mattress. Sit n sleep is the best. We went on a sunday and delivered on monday . Thank you

After putting it off for several months, I decided to purchase a new mattress. I upgraded from a full size bed to a queen size bed and needed a new mattress STAT! The mattress that I was using in the meantime gave me serious lower back pain. I'm not old so I didn't want to walk around hunched over complaining about back pain! Therefore, I walked through the doors of Sit N Sleep with the look of determination in my eyes! I was greeted by a friendly sales person. However, before she could show me some fancy/expensive mattresses, I told her exactly what I was looking for and the price that was quoted on their website. I knew what I wanted to pay for a mattress and I was determined to stick to my budget! I was shown a couple of mattresses that suited my needs to help me get a good night's sleep. I appreciated the fact that no one laughed at me as I laid down on the mattresses in different positions just to see if these would work for me. After tossing and turning on two different mattresses, I made my decision and purchased a queen size mattress. I really appreciated the fact that she did not try to persuade me to buy something that I wasn't really looking for. This made me feel comfortable enough to return to this location for a second purchase in the near future! I was informed that my mattress would be delivered on Tuesday between 10:45 AM and 2:45 PM but I was surprised to receive a phone call around 9:00. They were actually coming earlier than expected! They showed up at 9:30 AM!!!!! I was elated to have them deliver my mattress ahead of schedule because I didn't have to sit around all day long, waiting for them to show up! I'm satisfied with my purchase and the professional nature of their representatives. Now I can FINALLY get a comfortable night's sleep! read more

Walked in yesterday afternoon looking for a new mattress to buy. Was instantly greeted by a nice guy named Keith. He provided my fiancé and I with some covers to put over the mattresses so we can try them out. He didn't hover over us like some salesman tend to do when shopping around but was also close enough to where if we had any questions he was there to answer them. We ended up purchasing a new mattress, pillow, and mattress cover for a great deal! We'll definitely be back to this location for any future purchases. Thanks Keith! read more

We know the importance of a great night rest and thanks to Robert, we can finally experience that. We appreciate every bit of assistance and patience! Sit 'n Sleep - Ask for Robert!! - Mattresses Near Me - Commerce, California

My mother purchased a mattress from this store last weekend from Sleep Consultant Javier Nunez. He went through the entire sales pitch and matched her with an expensive memory foam/tempur-pedic mattress. My mother told Javier that the mattress was too expensive for her to purchase. Javier told my mother that she could purchase the same mattress at a discounted rate. Javier told my mother that the discounted rate applied to certain mattresses that were found in defective packaging. NEVER DID HE EXPLAIN THAT THESE DISCOUNTED MATTRESSES WERE USED PREVIOUSLY BY OTHER INDIVIDUALS. My mother purchased one of these discounted mattresses and to her surprise she received a mattress that was labeled used BUT sanitized. She received this mattress the next day, after she purchased it at the store. I must note that the mattress my mother received was NOT THE SAME as the mattress she tested and chose at the store as it was HORRIBLE QUALITY and it was USED. I must also note that my mother's receipt DID NOT indicate that the discounted mattress she purchased was used. Also, her receipt DID NOT indicate that she was receiving a discounted item. The only thing her receipt DID include was the fact that Sit N Sleep was waiving the "Comfort Trial" warranty. A few days ago, my mother and I went to the store and met with Javier to inquire about exchanging the mattress my mother received because my mother no longer felt comfortable keeping the mattress she received for two main reasons: (1) the mattress was used, AND (2) the mattress did not feel the same as the mattress she tested in the store. Javier told my mother that her mattress did not have the "Comfort Trial" warranty because it was a discounted mattress and therefore, she could not exchange or return it. She was stuck with this mattress. After speaking/arguing with him for a few minutes, he did tell my mother that he would ask the store manager the next day about whether anything could be done. The next day came by, Javier DID NOT call my mother. I felt so bad for my mother because clearly, Javier took advantage of my mother since he DID NOT properly disclose to my mother that the mattress she was purchasing was a USED mattress. I believe, under California Law, he MUST disclose if the mattress he is selling is used. As I mentioned above, my mother's receipt ALSO DID NOT disclose whether the mattress she purchased was USED. Since Javier decided to NOT call my mother, I got in contact with Sit N Sleep's corporate office and I explained the situation to them and told them that Javier was WRONG in every aspect regarding this mattress sold to my mother. He DID NOT disclose that the mattress was used. He DID NOT indicate in the receipt that the mattress was used. He DID NOT follow up with my mother when he told her he would (horrible customer service). Corporate office agreed that the manner in which Javier proceeded was WRONG and "allowed" my mother to exchange her mattress. My mother and I decided to go to ANOTHER Sit N Sleep for this exchange because I didn't want her dealing with Javier. Sit N Sleep NEEDS to retrain some of its sales associates to ensure that they are complying with the law, with company policies and also to ensure they don't take advantage of their clients. Javier NEEDS to ensure that he makes the appropriate disclosures when selling mattresses. In addition, I strongly suggest that Sit N Sleep START disclosing the TYPES of mattresses sold to clients on their receipts. It is RIDICULOUS for their receipts to NOT indicate whether a mattress is USED or NOT as clients do not know what they are purchasing. Their receipts make for very subjective purchases allowing the Sit N Sleep stores to pick and choose which mattresses they will honor under their "Comfort Trial" warranty. This is WRONG. Javier's dealings with my mother and her mattress purchase is an example of this. read more
