I usually don't post reviews anywhere but i feel like after what happened today i need too. Everything was fine up until the guy doing my nails got to the design on my middle finger & cut a chunk of my skin off. I tried to stay calm and not make a big deal. It started gushing blood, he apologized which was nice, but then proceeded to put glue on it which I said I didn't want and I could just go wash my hands and put a cotton ball on it to stop the bleeding but, he put the glue on anyways. This was my go to place for a while now but, after today I'm better off finding somewhere else. I understand it was a mistake and things happen but it's a deep cut and this is the second time something like this has happened here to me with my nails/skin. On the other hand the receptionist was super sweet and apologetic about the situation and assured me she'd speak to the owner about it that's why I'm giving it a 2 star instead of a 1. read more

Sissy Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Daytona Beach, Florida

I have been a loyal customer since the place opened. The way my sister was treated is unforgivable. You are extremely unprofessional and uncaring. If you continue to treat your clients like they are unimportant your clientele will decline read more

I was really happy with my experience at Sissy Nails. My nail tech's customer service was on point. When I went in, I had a cut that was healing on the top of my foot. Not only did my nail tech do her best to avoid the area, after she hit it and caused it to start hurting again she went and found a band -aid for it. It wasn't bleeding, just sore. Also, she got me a bottle of water when I started coughing from the dust. I didn't have to ask. She just did these things. And, when I left, I really liked way my nails looked. She was great. The atmosphere was great. I was very happy with my experience. read more

Walked in and got served right way. I got a set of SNS. The guy, number 11, was nice enough, but my nails were so thick and chunky especially at the cuticle. I had to file them down myself after a week. They looked horrible. I had to go elsewhere and pay for a new set after two weeks. I usually get 3-4 weeks out of a $35 set. Also, I did not like there process for choosing a color. They did not have a nail swatch board. They had me chase from the jar. They did not have me wash my hands after to remove the dust. The guy also cleaned and scrapped his work area with me setting there. Acrylic flying all over me. read more

Great pedi and, since it was Tuesday, it was discounted. Highly recommend Sissy Nails!

Really nice nail salon & does great work but the wait time is ridiculous and the whole policy of them charging extra to take of gel paint is ridiculous read more

PLEASE READ BEFORE TRYING THIS PLACE. Got my nails done here a week ago and paid 80 dollars plus a 20 dollar tip, my nail broke off when I was tying my shoe LMAO then the lady upfront decides she wants to tell me it's not the poor workman ship but because I do some sort of manual labor when I literally don't even use my hands for my job. This place is a total rip off. I will never ever ever come back here again and I will make it a point to tell all of my friends and clientele off the rudeness and the lazy work ethic, if I could give this place 0 stars I would because they are a bunch of poor excuses for nail techs! I literally would not go here if it was the last nail salon on earth. Dirty salon and even nastier attitudes. The women at the front looks poorly put together and is rude onto of her sloppy attire. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE ! I am licensed in the beauty industry and this place should be shut down. read more

If there were a negative amount of stars, I'd give that. I get my nails done (elsewhere) on a regular basis, was in need of a fill, and decided to go to Sissy nails for my third (and now last) time because I was in the area. I hadn't been wowed the last two times but it was a basic decent nail job that was ok because I couldn't get to my regular salon in Orlando. Didn't have an appointment and the gentleman who was assigned to do my nails clearly has no business doing nails at all. Even after a repaint of a botched cat-eye attempt, the fixed nails an hour and a half later honestly look like my six year old painted them, which I communicated to the nail tech who offered to redo it a third time which I didn't have time for nor see the point in after having realized his ability was the problem. I expressed my disappointment and dissatisfaction to the guy who was taking payment and he offered to take $5 off and have someone fix the nails later on same day or the next. Not sure exactly what I was paying for but I really just don't think it's worth the aggravation to return so there's $20 down the toilet and a lesson learned. read more

See all

Tech was 20 minutes late for appointment. I asked for their upgraded luxury pedicure with an extended massage and gel polish French manicure. Very rushed! Entire process for both took less than 30 minutes. Very sloppy. Very rushed. If I could give 0 stars, I would. read more

When I first walked into the place they didn't want to help me then it took the lady 15 minutes to wax my eyebrows and the they didn't want to tell me how much I had to pay. let's just say I'm never going back! read more

The techs are great. Andrew is very rude and unprofessional. He talks to customers any kind of way. They have a policy where they guarantee their nails for a week. He chooses what he wants to guarantee. If it wasn't for the techs I would never come here again based off of Andrew alone. read more

I decided to try this store because of their awesome story of building their business. I really like to support local business. I checked their website and it stated they had a $15 express pedicure...which is great for me because I don't really like pedicures, but love the end product. When I got there they told me they didn't do it anymore? That it would be $25. After I spoke to the owner she stated the website hadn't be updated (not my fault, right?). They then decided to honor the $15 express pedicure which was the right thing to do, but then the tech didn't even scrub my feet and just emptied that water. I ask the owner again and showed her their own website stating it includes the foot scrub. At this point they are making me feel like I'm a cheap-o customer or something... They ended up scrubbing my feet after showing themtheir own website... I felt like everyone was watching me and it was embarrassing. On a good notes, the pedicure looked great and lasted well, but who wants to be made to feel like that. I tipped $5 anyway...like I always do. I don't think I'd go back due to false advertising and the customer service experience. read more

I am extremely disappointed with Sissy nails I went to get my nails done and first of all he ruins my whole nails doesn't listen to anything I ask and I continue to stick up for myself and request what i want , but he continues to mess up my nails doesn't shape them correctly whatsoever , i wanted them long , he cut them so short. continued to grab my arm to turn my FINGER NAILS . they look absolutely horrible and then peel off that same day i got them done. I complain and then get another appointment for them to be fixed the next day and I go back and they tell me that there's nothing wrong with them and that I would have to pay an additional 40$ to get them fixed KEEP IN MIND I ALREAY PAYED 30$ day before for SHIT nails. or you can just get them re painted it for free, not fixing the shape or anything else. I want my money back and I truly hope that a manager sees this and gives me a call and refunds my nails because they are horrible. read more

Use to go every month for a pedicure. I didn't know any better but they were using a process on my toes that was some type of acrylic where they used ultra violet light to harden the product. Well after about 3 times of this my toe nails were falling off! Literally took my big toe nails down past the quick. I had developed a fungus and I started to notice that their tools were never brought out in sterile bags, like most salons. They also used the same pumice stone on everyone . I don't think they are sterilizing their tools after each use. Will never go back. They seem to have gotten too sure of themselves and think they are above other salons. I also noticed a "clicky" atmosphere among regular customers with the staff. Seemed to pay more attention to them then new customers or one's that didn't spend their whole weeks savings. They are expensive and seem to like those clients that spend spend spend. read more

I am sorry to say that this salon has become a disappointment. I was very happy with a few visits and even referred friends there. The service has declined as they have become more popular, and I I can no longer recommend. I won't bore you with details, but the last two appointments were disasters. I left paying over $50 for a full set of nails that looked like a 5 year old did them. I tried one more time, because anyone can have a bad day. Nope. I even invited a friend the next time, and made appointments for us both with specific techs. We both left with no service. Rude. Disinterested, and completely unacceptable. I've been having my nails done from Manhattan to Washington D.C., California and internationally for longer than either of the operators have been alive, and trust me, while they have basic, average skills at some nail techniques, their business will not continue to grow if they treat their regular customers poorly. Entrepreneurship 101. You cannot continue to build a business based on online reviews unless you keep your loyal customer base. I, for one, will never darken their doorstep again. read more
