Anyway, I ordered a wrap and couldn't really understand the menu, it seemed to repeat fries, pickles and chicken in the wrap. Then when it arrived I understood. There is a mammoth amount of chicken, fries and pickles IN the wrap - fries inside the wrap. Fries. Inside. The. Wrap. I think I woke up 3 hours later from a carb coma. Go here. Be amazed by the fries in wrap. With pickles.

We appreciated the portion of chippies but they were drier than the desert of the jacoran and appeared older than the ghosts of benjamin past. The chilli dip didn't pair nicely with the chippies which is always a warning sign. The burgies tasted kinda yum but a little dry and could've used a bit more slop. One of the friendjamin ordered salad with his chicky but it came with chippie instead and the extra bread and garlic dip were deemed useless. It almost made him ascend into the hall of shadows and scream with anger...We even ordered the burger that Tayta himself designed...The Friendjamin 3 had never met a chicken man like Tayta to be so cavalier with his reputation...

It is a vegetarian platter but I think most of it is actually vegan so even better. Loved the hommous, potatoes, and fried cauliflower so, so much. Only fault is I wish they gave more of the cauliflower and perhaps took away from something else. It was a very small portion, probably only about 2 pieces from memory and it is one of my all time fav Lebanese dishes so I was a tad disappointed. But everything else more than enough made up for it, and I was actually really surprised with the falafel because I have had so many bad encounters with it I was just pretty sure I hated it, but here it was incredible! Like really really good. They also give you so much bread so you will definitely be full and satisfied by the end of it. Highly recommend this platter. The waratenib was alright, the lemon was very overpowering and hard to notice much else, but it wasn't too bad. Service was also incredibly lovely, so it really did make for an enjoyable meal and evening all around.

Offering panoramic Botany views to La Perouse and Kurnell, this bustling Grand Parade cafe specialises in understated and contemporary cool. Friendly and relaxed with a touch of sophistication, the outdoors have been brought inside by the understated green and neutral palette and abundance of potted and hanging plants. The new Mediterranean and European inspired menu stretches from breakfast to small and larger sharing plates, substantial salads, pasta, burgers and steak. But we have one thing on our minds when we smell the wood-fired oven from up the road: pizza. Two cocktails straight up while we peruse the menu: an elderflower spritz and a gin delight. Fresh and zesty aperitifs from the bountiful upstairs bar. We share a pizza capricciosa and the tempura oyster pillows with coriander yoghurt and salmon roe for entree. The pizza is wood-charred and beautifully puffy and crisp with a generous lathering of topping. The oysters are elegantly presented and moreish, with the sweet pop of fish roe to freshen the palette. The baby back pork ribs with sticky toffee basting is served with a side of steakhouse chips. The marinade is irresistibly sweet and the only thing holding the pork to the bone. We don't even need the usual rib provisions of wet towels as the meat morsels fall straight onto our fork. The BBQ grilled lamb and chicken breast skewers arrive with the perfect accompaniment, flat bread, cucumber yoghurt and a well dressed salad and chips. The Mediterranean inspired herbs deliciously coat the lean, succulent and perfectly cooked skewers. This is a very generously portioned meal. Neptunes utilises their new wood oven for dessert and we taste a house favourite: caramelised banana wood-fired donut with vanilla custard, banana, roasted white chocolate, caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. Definitely for those with a sweet tooth, the donut was beautifully crunchy and stuffed full of smooth custard. The chocolate lava pudding cake with crushed honeycomb vanilla ice-cream and berries was rich and decadent. We were excited to see a gush of chocolate lava and the tart berries provided a perfect balance to the sweetness of the ice cream. Service at Neptunes is warm and attentive with friendly and knowledgeable maitre'd and wait staff. The refurbishment includes an open galley kitchen and bar. Perfect for families and functions, Neptunes boasts a variety of menu options and is entirely ready for a busy seaside party season. Book now to enjoy the best from this great venue.

I organised a surprise party for my boyfriend here yesterday and they were very accommodating. My…read moreonly big draw back was that they told us to stagger our orders for the kitchen, which resulted with one side of the table eating and finishing before the other side of the table. I had a flat white, a Bloody Mary, and then I ordered two breakfasts (yes two). I couldn't pass up eggs, but I also couldn't forget their pancakes. So I settled on the healthy stack, which was two pieces of toast smothered in goat cheese, tipped with rocket, tomato, avocado, and a poached egg and the. I got the pancakes with ricotta, Caramelized bananas and hazelnuts. The flat White was good and so was the Bloody Mary. The bloody was oddly sweet with a kick to it, but I liked it nonetheless. I did not like is hefty price tag though, as it was 18 dollars for a pretty small drink. For the food everything was delicious. The healthy stack tasted exactly like it sounded and it was a huge portion with two huge pieces of toast. And the pancakes were equally delicious. The ricotta was awesome And the whole table was glad I ordered them. Overall I would be back and I wanna check out their bar. The place is so cute and homey so I would recommend. Just bear in mind they don't do split checks and only except two cards if you have a large group.

Matched by its wood interior and exceptional warm staff is a smile on anyone's face on a cold night. Unwittingly expecting something so different, this place hit all the right notes and needs. A Sunday night blackboard menu presented the whole main menu of the night as well as their specials. A Honey Risotto is the choice of the night for a warm filler with others selecting an equally choose dish of deliciousness. A quiet night meant the food is brought quick with all smiles warming our smiles as well as out stomachs with matching wine to each dish it's recommended too. The specials included the desserts where the trend of serving a Dark Lager Beeramisu in a clay pot is not all that uncommon. I happily named my dessert Groot. I'm reserving a star for a future date for testing out their drinks menu. I will be back. Mark My Words
