I have long layered hair and needed a trim/shaping plus touching up my roots. My hair is previously highlighted and I wanted to keep the highlights but cover up the gray hairs that had come in. She did a great job! Siri has a very friendly, upbeat personality and she did exactly what I wanted. Her shop is very clean and nice. Have been going to her for over a year with my family members as well. She is good at straightforward haircuts & making hair "pretty." I have short hair & at the last session was unhappy with how she cut it. I had even brought photos of how I wanted it to look & made sure to communicate with her what we were doing that day & she turned my cool short hair into a mommy bob." I let her know in a kind way but she was stressed out with a waiting area filling up. She tried to fix it but ended up making it a lot worse & now I have weird inch long pieces sticking up along my part even though it's been 3 months. My hair literally sticks straight up in back now from how she cut it. I found a different salon that works better for me. She did a great job with both of my girls haircuts. read more

I just got done with the best hair cut experience ever! Siri did an amazing job on my trim/layer haircut. My hair hadn't been cut in 6 months, but she took the time to listen and create a beautiful haircut that not only works well for my face but is practical for my job and my life. I hope I was able to convey to her just how happy I am! I wish I'd gone much sooner than I did! I've heard amazing things about Siri but am pleasantly surprised by the care and pride she has in her job. The shop was so cute and clean, and my comfort was always thought of. She was so fun to chat to and it's obvious she really enjoys making her customers happy. Also she was so gentle while she worked and chatted that I practically fell asleep in her chair! Pretty expensive ($24 for what basically is a buzz cut and $14 for a neck trim). Don't get me wrong, if the haircut is good I have no problem paying premium for it. This however is not the case. Also her constant chit chat is a bit much. read more

I have a house in Wailea part time and didn't have time on the mainland to get my gray covered before this trip. Siri set me up the next morning after stopping in to scope things out. Cute little salon she owns and runs solo. I was very hesitant trying a local salon but after reading the reviews it helped ease any skepticism I had. Siri is great. Super sweet and takes her time talking through your concerns and needs. I ended up going with color, highlights and trim. I'm very happy with my hair and will definitely go back. Prices are fair- compared to San Diego high end salons. She's been at this location for 3years now and works Monday thru Saturday. You will be happy you went!!! read more

I wish I could give her less stars! I am so disappointed in my experience with Siri. I feel robbed and I look terrible. I was shocked by the price and extremely unhappy with her work. She charged me $400 for full highlights on long hair (mid-back length + wash & trim) AND I had to go back to have her fix her mistakes! I had obvious bleach lines showing around my face and now the color is too brassy in front and a different color than the back! Instead of offering some kind of refund she told me she wouldn't charge me to fix it! When I originally called for a quote and booked the appointment, I explained how long my hair is and she quoted $100 for highlights. Once everything was done, she charged me $350 because she "charges for length". This seems very deceptive and should be discussed before she started. This is double what I've ever paid for highlights and it turned out VERY brassy instead of blonde and had to be color processed twice to make it look half right. In the end, I HATE it. I have had to spend more money buying purple color corrective shampoo and conditioner. For $400 this should be PERFECT but I look like trash instead... read more

We came into Kihei on a Friday afternoon from the mainland and was able to see Siri as a walk-in. She did a fantastic job on my hair, good enough that my 14yr old daughter wanted to get her hair done by Siri too; we came back the following Monday and my daughter was very happy with the results. Siri's shop is cozy and very clean; she takes obvious pride in providing her customers with a quality experience in all respects. She is very friendly and also helped provide a couple recommendations for places to eat in town. As an added benefit, her prices were less than what we usually pay back in California. I had a bad haircut I needed to get fixed and Siri was fantastic. Not only does she know how to do a good haircut she actually combed through my hair when I sat in the chair. She studied my hair, it has a bit of natural wave. She even remembered what side I parted my hair when she was cutting. She came up with just what I needed. I am getting lots of compliments. it is the best cut I have had in years. Her shop is very cute and very clean and tidy. She is so upbeat and fun. I could not be happier. And after paying way too much for my last cut and color--more than I've ever paid, this cut was extremely reasonable. Can't beat the service and price here.
