A bonus is that I also picked up a really cute green Led Zeppelin tank top. The store has really unique items along with basics that you can mix and match in a lot of outfits. A lot of times at a Boutique everything is super expensive and this store definitely has some pricey stuff (pricey, not expensive b/c there's major value) but the basics are reasonable for downtown San Diego prices. I was In SD for a wedding recently when the temps reached crazy highs - 104 degrees on Nado in October! So the dress I had for the occasion was far too warm. Seasonality was a problem, summer sales all over, fall clothing on the racks. Could not find ANYTHING. Searched for almost two days - Bluza - not in Fashion or LJ where I had been shopping, was my last hope. Arrived about 11:15am and found them wrapping up a move out! I explained my (until then, unappreciated) predicament, and they offered to help me find something in the storeroom of their new location - Seaport Village, btw, Ste 118. No joke. Ada hopped in our car and directed us to the storeroom. And she helped me find something appropriate for the weather and occasion - a beautiful dress and coordinating earrings. I was out the door, thrilled, within an hour. And the price was very fair. To top it off, people literally stopped me at dinner to ask where I bought the dress. The kind of experience for which Yelp should allow 10 gold stars! Seaport Village is fortunate to have you in their midst!

I think they are mostly one size but have a variety of sizes for certain things. It's good material on most of the garments as well so it's long lasting. There aren't fitting rooms and nobody really greets you here or offers to help you with your shopping experience. Lines can be long but there are many cashiers to help you.

I asked an employee no mirrors? She shook her head and stared at me. I then went to the register to purchase my items, I asked another employee Sarah (whose name is on the receipt), no way I could look at a mirror with the items? (Literally there's a whole dressing room closed where workers are folding clothes) I only wanted to look in the mirror for a quick second and hold the items up to me) Sarah said "yeah, no" with so much disdain in her eyes, mouth, and speech. It was truly admirable and incredibly heart warming to be welcomed with this much disdain and hate from a store I've spent thousands of dollars at. I then went back to do a little holiday shopping, and have been back many times since. I am also happy that the shop continues to host a spirt stop on the stroll. Kiko + Sven is a tiny shop with a lot of cute items. Some appear handmade and other are just cute or unique. They probably have more jewelry than anything. It is mostly dainty gold and silver, some with long beads and some made from clay. They have a back wall that is full of greeting cards, and a section of toddler and baby items. There are usually quite a few candles and soaps, and a small amount of cocktail/cooking supplies. All of it calls out to me... and makes me want to spend money. They also have a rack of clothing in the shop, and usually a sale rack outside. I have bought a couple of tops and a cute shawl there in the past, but since the selection is so small, I often don't find any clothing that either is my size or style. I think it is a great shop to browse and find something unecspected. As it is very small, the times I went looking for something more specific for gifts, it has been a bit hit or miss. Their stock varies over time and you may or may not luck out. All in all, if you are shopping or eating on Adams, go check it out. It's really fun to browse and you may find something you like.
