I LOVE the square pizza. I had a small all meat pizza and it was plenty for 2 meals! They have the BEST homemade Ranch dressing.

1985 we are back. Immediately as you walk in you are transported to your childhood pizza joint. The ambiance is hometown, and the service is friendly. Sir Pizza is a unique (for NC at least) treat. This type of thin semi-crispy crust and loaded up topping pizza is so good and Sir Pizza is the best at it. The Dixie dr/hwy 64 location is my favorite as well. This pizza isn't everyone's favorite but if you like it, this is the best. read more

It's been years since I've had Sir Pizza and this location didn't disappoint. It still looks like the ones I remember growing up but it doesn't seem dated to me for some reason. Upon entering the place I felt transported back to the 1990s. Definitely needs to be updated and be a little brighter. Seat I sat in was very heavily taped back together. Pretty good pizza...I stopped by to pick up a handful of pies for me and some friends. Great quality, great price, and really friendly staff. The only negative if it even is one, is the pace could use a little remodel. It's old and outdated inside. It was my first time here while visiting family and what they lack in quality of food they make up for in friendly services. If I were to relate it to some where I know it would be like Cece's Pizza in Florida but with service. The Pizza is far from the best they use some kind of processed Peperoni on the pizza, has the consistency of diced jerky. The Salads were very large but all the dressings look mayo based with exception of the Italian. If you ever get to Florida stop at Moon River, Chicago Pizza, Carmines etc. All a much better pie and more authentic. But if your looking for a cheap meal with awesome service this is the place for you and if you loved this place don't waste your time with great pizza in Jacksonville go to Cece's Pizza more along the lines of Sir Pizza. read more

Okay. I'm not a fan of their pizza. It is different than I am used to, but I didn't grow up here. Everyone else LOVES it. I mean, I'll eat it, but it seems to be a regional thing. I love their chef salads and garlic bread. The staff is always friendly. They are reasonably priced. My kids and husband do like their pizza. read more

Love the food here. It's great. BUT the other day i ordered a Crusader sub. I have eaten these for years and loved them but apparently they changed it. The bread was hard and chewy. There was hardly any sauce or meat and it was so dry and bland. I was so dissatisfied. There was nothing about this sandwich that resembled a crusader. So why call it a Crusader? I swore I would not comment on a chain restaurant, but my family as well as myself like this place. We where so tickled when one opened 5 miles from our home.But no two restaurants are the same. So we drive 13 miles for the better pizza. A clean place and good service plus plenty of toppings on my pizza keeps us coming back for quiet a few years now. I love their chef salad large or small.I think the eggs.ham,cheese plus tomatoes piled high is a meal in its self. I've never tried a sub or their spaghetti but I've enjoyed the pizza for at least 25 yrs or so. Some times we slide down to the one in Siler City. Was hungry after the NC Zoo and wanted something that was not fast food so we came here. Looked nice and smelled good when we came in and the waitress we had was sweet. The breadsticks were alright but pretty low effort and the "marinara" was basically a tomato purée and tasted like tomato soup rather than marinara. Got a 12" pepperoni pizza--it was extremely oily and had pepperoni akin to that of a bagel bite or Totino's and looked very cheap. The absolute worst part was the "Chopped Chicken" if you can even call it that, it was a sorry excuse for a sandwich; extremely dry, sauceless and flavorless chicken, tomato and lettuce on a hamburger bun (a chopped anything should come on a proper hoagie or at least a hotdog bun) with only a drop of mayo. I've genuinely had better chicken sandwiches at a school cafeteria. The cherry on top was a bag of RUFFLES! They didn't even take them out of the bag and put them on the plate! Just disrespectful for an $11 meal! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw her serve it, like I thought I was hallucinating . Overall the atmosphere was okay and service was good but wow that food was terrible and not priced accordingly whatsoever. First Impression Review: After a LONG day at the zoo SIR Pizza hit the spot. Asheboro is not a place for "great eats" but I would definitely recommend SIR Pizza as an post-zoo dinner stop. If you want a classically good pizza and a little salad then this is your place. We ordered a Hawaiian pizza and Chef salad. The blu cheese dressing tasted homemade and had delicious chunky blu cheese--good choice! The pizza had plenty of toppings and tasted great. It's not fancy but if you choose to skip the zoo food (which we did) it definitely hits the spot. I'm not going out of my way to go back but it was a nice resting spot and the "locals" seemed to love it. Even though most of the seats have tears in the leather, there was a line of cars waiting outside for the doors to open at 4pm. Pizza is thin crust with flatbread-like quality to it. I'm 100% biased because I grew up on Sir Pizza but I love it so much. Their chef salad is fantastic (albeit not healthy) and their pizza isn't too heavy. It's a low key kind of family restaurant. The pizza was served cold. The toppings (mushrooms and meat) weren't even warm. The crust was super hard and crunchy. This definitely ranks up there with some of the worst pizza I've ever had. Anyone who says it's the best has never been outside of small town NC. I'm a teacher and this stuff definitely reminds me of cafeteria pizza with the chunks of pepperoni and little balls of sausage. As a matter of fact, my school's pizza might actually be better. And the price? Don't even get me started on the inflation they must charge for their subpar pizza. This is a pizza chain but different from most. The pizza is good. It is served cut into small squares. The super combo pizza is quite thick, especially in the medium size. The really different thing about the place, though, is that it serves hot sub sandwiches and spaghetti as well. Everything is tasty.
