Very nice park. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We had site E 13 which was very level and spacious however, very close to the interstate which of course has noise from the traffic but it does make it easy to get in and out of the park. It has a swimming pool, Pickleball court and dog park which were all in very good condition. The bathrooms were clean as well. read more

Really liked this park. The sites were nicely spaced, level and well graded, and several nice trees for some shaded spots. We found the staff to be very welcoming and helpful. It has nice amenities including a pool and pickleball court, as well as a dog area. We had a deluxe site with table and chairs, Adirondack chairs and a nice gas grill that was clean. They thoroughly clean each site after people leave. I don't understand why some people complained about the freeway noise -- ridiculous when they booked the park knowing it is next to a freeway! Yes there is some noise but we did not find it to be overwhelming at all. Stayed here three days. Will definitely stay here again. read more

These guys were great. Very clean park. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our site was level and the rest of the sites looked equally nice. Yes there is noise because the freeway is right here, but this is a KOA JOURNEY and that's what they're here for. Compared to a couple KOAs we've stayed at recently the patio furniture, site, laundry room, restrooms and campground in general was kept up and modern. If you don't mind lots of noise from the freeway on one side and a distribution hub on the other... We had a nice big back in spot on the side away from the freeway. I thought, how nice! All night long we heard semi's coming out of the area feet from us. Loud!!! The freeway would have been quieter. Also at one point we thought a plane was going to crash into us. There's an airport here too?!?! Aside from the noise the service was incredible! They escort you to your space and will even assist in backing in if you want. There was a cement patio with a firepit, Adirondack chairs, picnic table and gas grill. We even had a clean talk wood fence for privacy the way our camper was faced. The bathrooms were spotless with soap and hand dryers and two clean showers. The office also had a shop with snacks, gifts and RV necessities. All that said, we wouldn't stay here again because of the noise. Sleep is important!!! read more

Great location, friendly staff, and a number of amenities including a small store for stock and a massive trampoline-like pillow to help kids burn off energy. It's nicely wooded to help shade the RVs from the sun with full hook-ups and easy, pull- through sites. read more

It's BS... We made reservations months in advance, told the lady needed pull thru and we have a "Tow". They put us in a slot E1 that was too small for our motorhome... oh course we were hanging out and the lady on the golf cart said "YOU HAVE TO MOVE UP OTHER RVs CANT GET BY" I said where do u want me to go? I just ignored her! Last time I am booking KOA. Also, extremely loud, next to the highway. read more

This is a KOA Journey, so it's designed to be easy to access from the highway and easy to get back on the next day--most patrons are here for just one night. The campground seems well-kept and showers, laundry, etc. are clean. Power and water are good. The reason for my two-star rating is the site they put us in. It has to be the worst one of the bunch. It couldn't possibly be closer to the highway and has no shade at all. If we were just here for one night, I wouldn't complain but our reservation is for four nights. I'm disappointed. read more

Great overnight stop! The only downer is there is significant freeway noise 24/7 due to the convenient location. We rented one of the premium pull through spots with pavement, a table and chairs, and a grill which was very convenient for minimal camp set up. Hookups were good. My only gripe was that the site was not level and we didn't bring anything to fix that, so that was annoying. The camp office closes at 5pm. We arrived at 4:45pm and they were already closed, but they had a pickup station with our reservation information, so that was fine. Playground was perfect for our toddler. She especially enjoyed the airplane. Lots of lush green grass throughout the campground. Best campground showers I've used in awhile. They are super functional. There are shelves in the showers to set your items. Water pressure was good and water was nice and hot. The dressing area in my stall had plenty of hooks to hang items, a bench, and the floor was graded to direct water away. Plus there was a mat on the floor to ensure you will never have to stand in water while getting dressed. And bathrooms and showers were VERY VERY clean, which is always appreciated! read more

This place is great! It is super clean, bathrooms too! All the staff was friendly and helpful. Laundry area, great price and CLEAN! Great little dog park and area to walk your dogs. Pool was nice, as well. The only negative thing we can say about this place, is we had to leave. It's super convenient, being right off the highway. Would definitely return!! read more

This review is for site D14 on July 6, 2019. Nice place. It's listed as a KOA 'Journey,' but seemed to have all the amenities of the other parks -- pool, laundry, bathrooms and dump stations on-site. The campground was well-kempt; the staff was polite and professional. We were only here for a night and enjoyed nearby Sioux Falls Canaries baseball and at Bread & Circus Kitchen (I've included reviews for both on Yelp). Would stay here again in a heartbeat. read more

This KOA is right next to the Interstate. I mean right next to it. Horrible traffice noise all night. Ohhhh well! It's a stop-over campground. The staff is where the 1 star comes in. Short, rude, uncaring, and offensive. We were told that a golf cart would lead us to our site. We waited a few minutes and nobody was around and the space was very easy to find. We drove to the space and parked and a very upset man in a golf cart came roaring up and yelled at us for parking ourselves. VERY aggressive. This is just not a friendly KOA! read more

Hi everyone, My wife and I are driving across united States. Its our first time to try camping. So we rented a dodge caravan which all seats folds and make the whole back seats a flat bed. We made our own bed with air bed withb6nimces cushion. We are very comfortable and sleeps very well. But my point is I wanna recommend KOA camp grounds , they are all over united States. Its easy to camp here and the price is not bad. All campers are very nice. And the places are quiet. We're onlyb1/4 ways of our trip, but definitely stay with THESE KOA camp sites. I will also add good good internet access. From amateur campers to experienced campers. KOA IS THE PLACE.. WE RECOMMEND.. It is literally on the edge of the interstate, an airport is nearby and some sort of distribution center with trucks in the other side. the roads are narrow and over sized rigs are parked into the roadway making it difficult to get in and out. We are staying here for about a week. It is full of activities mini golf, bike rentals, pool, playground, etc. conveniently located next door to Camping World. Washer/dryer on site. $2 wash .25 per 20 mins dry. Restrooms are very clean. Closed daily from 12:30-2:30 for cleaning. Nice gift shop/store with a few food items (necessaries). Just a heads up it is next to interstate and is a bit noisy. It didn't bother us. One of our favorite parts was the dog park. Very well kept and clean. We would stay here again. read more

This is a review (rating) mostly on the women's shower. Wow! You have to be 4'11" or shorter to fit under the shower head. The bathrooms are clean but remodeled back in 1972 (judging this complex based on the beautiful brown mosaic tiling in the stalls and the beige fiberglass shower inserts). The shower inserts are about 5'5" tall, and they decided to install the waterpik shower heads off a 3-4" long pipe aiming down, so, If you do the math, that's about where a 4'11" head would fit nicely. Easy on and off location from I-90 just a few miles from downtown and the falls park areas. The proximity to the freeway does generate quite a bit of noise at night from the engine brakes on the trucks and there is also an airport on the other side of the freeway. Even with a noise maker, we were awake several times a night. The sites and roads are gravel and most of the sites are pull through. The park offers the typical range of amenities for campers and kids. The restrooms, showers, laundry were all clean and functional. They have putt putt, basketball court, playground, game room and a play area for the four legged friends. The wifi worked fairly well, which is always a bonus. We stopped here for one night during a cross-country trip and I wish we had more time to chill and take advantage of all the amenities. The restroom/shower and laundry/game buildings were clean and tidy. The location is easy to find - it is right next to the freeway so you can't miss it. There is road noise but it didn't bother us. When you check-in, they lead you to your site so you aren't driving around aimlessly, which was really nice. Sites range from tent spots to giant pull throughs and everything in between. It was pretty busy but not full, but I would recommend calling to make reservations. read more

Really nice campground and management who went above and beyond. We lost our cat during our stay and they all spent the morning helping us look for him. They even made a welcome home sign when we got a call that someone found him and went to pick him up. Pool and playground were great and our spot was level and shaded. We've had no problems parking our camper van and other van we use when the spots are large enough. In the spot we have there is plenty of room, but alas it's a tent spot, though there are very long large trailers parked in these spots that fill the length allotted. I guess it's a way to make more money. I get to park the van we drive around in a parking lot. The staff is very friendly. I'll give them a star for that. And, it's right on highway 90, just not pleasant for sitting outside. read more

Decent place to stop for the night. Typical KOA, so you can expect clean facilities, and a clean and functional spot to pull in and hook up. This one is right off the interstate, so don't expect a quiet serene place to camp, more of a convenient place to stop and sleep for the night. This place had friendly staff, and clean bathrooms. Some mature trees so there is shade to be had. While I wouldn't want to stay here for an extended time, I would stay here again as a stopover point on the way to somewhere nice :) read more

We are new to the KOA chain and just learned they are on a tiered system. This location is a journey KOA, which means it is right off the highway and more of a place to stop than a nature experience. We were so grateful we choose to stay in a cabin (which had a/c) the tent sites are literally in parking spaces next to each other in the grass surrounding a child's play area...rude. There are bright lights around the buildings that shine into your sites. The pool has a chain link fence around it. Because we were in a cabin with the air running, the highway noise was significantly muted. However if that's not your situation, I'd seriously reconsider. The bathrooms were not up to the regular KOA standards I had come to expect. They just didn't feel/look clean. The bed was not terrible and we were able to get a good night sleep. I don't plan on staying at journey locations in the future unless absolutely necessary. read more

On a road trip using the back of my truck instead of a tent. At 1230 in the morning I'm watching Netflix and I'm parked maybe 20 feet from the main office with lights all around, laying in the bed. A guy walks up to my site and starts rummaging around my cooler. I sit up and grab my handgun and he takes my cooler and drives away in his car. I immediately called the manager who told me, "Sorry, there's nothing we can do about that." and just ends the conversation. Terrible experience. Just go to a hotel nearby. Paid 30 dollars to park in a well lit area and have my belongings burglarized. That was my dogs water source for the hot trip. read more

This place rules they were super nice. It rained there was a lightning storm there was even threats of tornadoes but they had a shelter for us and they were nice and it was affordable. There was a beautiful Meadow of perfectly cut Fescue under giant trees with water access and fire pits and a picnic table for the low low price of $27. I thought it was a bargain of a lifetime. we just wish we had more time to spend there swimming and enjoying the amenitie. We did take a shower and there was no one there so it was great. unfortunately it's rained and we coildnt sleep in that awesome Meadow until about 1 in the morning but I did and it was awesome waking up under the trees and seeing the birds party. read more

We stayed here in a 34' fifth wheel on our way out west. There was major road construction on the interstate that backed right up to the campground. This had an impact on our stay as it made getting in and out of the campground a bit difficult, but obviously was no fault of the owner. He was very helpful and actually called me on the day of our arrival to tell us about the construction and the best way to get into the campground. Laundry facility was very clean with no broken machines as often seen in campgrounds. I'd stay here again. read more
