Dr Hahn and the team provide exceptional care and are super gentle, thoughtful during all the procedures, cleaning, x-rays and exams. After weeks of hearing nothing, I called my insurance company myself in July and learned that the authorization had never been submitted. From what I was told by Cynthia the office was planning to terminate its contract with my insurance and there wouldn't be enough time to complete the procedure. If she would've submitted back in May, we would've had plenty of time. instead of informing me or submitting the authorization as promised, nothing was done. Had they simply been upfront, I could have found another provider much sooner instead of waiting nearly two months in pain and uncertainty. To make matters worse, every time I called, I had to deal with Cynthia. Unfortunately, my interactions with her were consistently unprofessional. When I called to ask that the authorization be resubmitted because required information was missing, she argued with me telling me that there would not be enough time to complete the procedure before they no longer accepted my insurance and ultimately hung up on me. I've had several prior authorizations approved without any issues, so this experience was especially frustrating. Because of the office's lack of communication and failure to follow through, I now have to start the entire process over with a new dentist. Patients deserve honest communication and timely handling of insurance authorizations. Sadly, that was not my experience here.

Instead, the hygienist stood the entire treatment session my next two visits. First gaslight. Second gaslight, Dr. Mary expressed to me herself that she wanted and was always open to feedback, but this was not true. The Dismissive Response: I ended up canceling mid-treatment, deciding to find a different provider due to a lack of a treatment plan and transparent billing. When I tried to communicate additional patient care issues, I was met with extreme resistance. The office sent me a message listing Dr. White's credentials (USC, UCLA, 30 years of practice) and explicitly stated she "is comfortable with how she practices." Expertise does not excuse poor hygiene and retaliatory ethics. The Billing & Retaliation: I was balance-billed above my insurance network's contracted rates. After waiting two weeks for a refund because there was no confirmation until an email stating that it had been ready for some time came through, I went to pick up the check. Upon arrival to dental office, Dr. White flatly told me she was withholding my money because I filed a complaint with Delta Dental about the balance billing and lack of treatment plan/pricing transparency. While I was in my car calling insurance, a staff member waved me back in stating that Dr. White was offering the check to me. When I went into the office Dr. White showed the check and quickly pulled it away saying I could have it only if I signed a document. When I asked why she changed her mind, she said she wanted to ensure she'd never see me again. I left without the money to let insurance handle it from there on.

It is a breathing technique that calms me down. The way that she uses that scraping utensil and the water tool are truly minimally invasive. Prior to Stacey, when the scraping part is occurring it just sounds so loud. The sound is my equivalent to nails on a chalkboard for me. It was a purely god awful sound. Stacy's technique does not come with these awful sound effects. She is calm. She makes me feel calm. She has a TV in the room that is on. It doesn't have sound, it is a way to distract one's self. I don't even need to look at it anymore. When there are chances to chat, we chat about travel. We love hearing about each other's adventures. You are probably thinking, this place cannot get any better.. Well it does. I love the office staff. As I was leaving yesterday, I shared some really great personal news. When I explained I had been biting my tongue and my cheek, he told me "that's a soft tissue issue" and told me to go to a periodontist! From the minute he placed this bridge, I told him it was too big! It was uncomfortable and I felt like I had a wad of gum behind my front teeth, and it even flew out of my mouth at a Christmas party last year! I waited six months to see if it felt any better and when it did not, I went to another dentist for a consultation. He agreed the bridge did not fit well and even contacted Dr. Babbitt to see if he would refund my money so it could be done properly. Dr. Babbitt refused to give even a partial refund and believed his work was perfect. Now, almost one year later, I need a root canal on one of the abutment teeth because the bridge does not fit right and bacteria made its way inside. I have been in excruciating pain for two weeks now as I try to gather the money for a root canal and another bridge. Lastly, my roots were exposed and I noticed they were discolored. I was told by Dr. Babbitt this was caused by brushing too hard and that it was just discoloration. I was NEVER told that what was actually happening was that my roots were decaying due to dry mouth caused by daily use of Flonase! He even said that because you couldn't see my gums when I smile, it isn't something that needed to be fixed. Had he emphasized that my roots were decaying at an alarming rate and I would need to fix the problem sooner than later, I would have made that priority and NOT gotten the bridge that I really didn't need. Base your decision to see this dentist with whatever information you have, but beware that this could happen to you too, so choose wisely.
