I am beyond grateful with this dental office... Dr. Cohen and his staff are the best. Very friendly, attentive and professional. I highly recommend them!! After having terrible experiences with other dentists I'm so thankful to have found them in a time when I was in excruciating pain not being able to eat or sleep for about 2 weeks. I walked in on a Saturday morning with no appointment and they were able to help me. I was seen and given medication hoping it would help but a few hours later the pain was unbearable, "I was going insane!" So I returned to the office literally in tears and Dr. Cohen and team didn't hesitate to take me in and help me control the pain, he literally saved me, truly cares about his patients! I had a lot of work done on my teeth since very young and being moving a lot, i never had dentist that stick. So i have not been going to dentist past 5 years at least. Very anxious and have been postponing. Found Bella dental in my network, and so Happy i came here. The place is very Clean, equipment also modern. And you can do everything there. The 3D scan is neat. Doctor Cohen is great, explain everything and answer my many questions. Dr. Maria is great too. I had to do a lot of work, deep cleaning, filling, crown and implant and they do it very well. I am very happy too find this as your dental effect your overall health. This was my first time at Bella dental I took advantage of their first time patient deal. I was very impressed with their service they were on time the office was new. I was especially impressed with your technology especially if this machine that scans your mouth I can't remember what it was called so I could better understand what was going on. Way too expensive and the work is not very good I would not recommend this place. I'm definitely gonna go to a different place next time.

I've been coming to this facility for a little over a year. They take various insurances, even medical! Appointments in the county aren't easy, the wait for an appointment here is fairly quick. The staff, Habla espanol y es muy amable! The facility is always kept clean and they have new technology! Love their X-ray machine, it's very quick . This is a solid place to come get your dental cleaning. Not sure if they accept children though. Unfortunately I need my wisdom teeth removed and they don't put you asleep at this facility so that's a bit inconvenient. I do appreciate though that referrals were provided. I'll be updating my review when I get an update. read more

so far we have gone for x-rays and consultation. i am glad i didn't look at yelp first. (check google reviews for your own benefit.) i'm not sure what happened previously here but, from my own experience, the staff is incredibly kind and patient, both on phone and in person. the office is clean, modern, and feels comfortable. the dentist took his time with us after the initial exam to explain a treatment plan and answer all questions we had. ... and i usually have a lot... so for dr. cohen to take that time so graciously really said a lot about his level of consideration for how the patients are feeling. he recommended certain treatments and said level of priorities and explained why they were needed or needed but not as urgently.. and explained whether we go with him or another dentist we need to have these things done. .. so for me i seen that as a good doctor. showing concern for patients well being and not just padding a bill and using scare tactics. ... the lady that helped discuss treatment costs and options was also so nice. i was really impressed and grateful i didn't have that sense of cringe i usually get from dentist offices because i feel they are trying to abuse their power over vulnerable patients. so we are going back for treatment next. i hope everything will go as well! oh! also we have some issue with an upcoming surgery and they were kind enough to try to get us in to help out our scheduling. they're really a great office from everything i've seen so far. i'm grateful we found them. anyway, hope it continues as well. good job, bella dental! hope it continues to go as well! we are in your care. read more

My experience with Bella Dental has been outstanding! I hate the dentist in general, and just came from a particularly horrible year with Zak Dental in Ventura... I got an ad for Bella Dental in my mailbox and decided to give them a shot. They were so professional, friendly, and most importantly gentle. The space is pristinely clean as well. Everyone from the front desk staff to both dentists were great about explaining exactly what everything would cost, why the work was important, and beyond that Dr Cohen was exacting about the perfect fit of my crown. I even got a second opinion on my upcoming Invisalign treatment and pricing from Dr Cohen, which meant the world. last Thursday the October 6th 2022, I went to the dentist to deep clean my teeth, while he was injecting my gum I was shaking my entire body so hard with 189 blood pressure, which is very high. Dentist called 911 and took me into the emergency room, the emergency room was full of patients, my body was not shaking and the medication was wearing off , so I told the emergency desk I was not going in to see the doctor. I called the dentist office and told them I am not shaking and someone to pick me up at their office where I have my car parked. Dentist himself came to pick me up from the emergency office. Dentist asked me if I wanted to have half of my teeth cleaned, and he did. The next day I had pain in my eye and bad headaches, took Alive and kept thinking it would go away. It isn't getting better. Thursday the 13th I am also getting half of my face rashes where he gave me an injection. So I went to the emergency room again yesterday and saw a doctor and he told me it looks like shingles( shingles incubation takes 7 to 10 days) and gave me medication to fill at the drugstore. I never had shingles before in my life. Dentist charged me $700.oo dollars I paid half and I need to go back to clean the other half of my teeth. Should I continue with him or go to a different dentist? my medicare insurance paying him about $1,000.00 in addition to my $700.00. I foundout his price is very high and top of it his is also getting paid$1,000.00 by medicare. His office opened 6 month ago in Oxnard and he is a young dentist, I have emergency bill and emergency doctors bills I need to pay. and medication wasn't cheap which I already paid. I am getting recommend by the friends and neighbors not to go back to him and saying that he should test me for allegies before he work on my teeth. read more

Unfortunately, I found that the dentist at Bella tried to up sell me into a costly (for me) dental procedure, when I offered alternatives that cured the problem in the past, he was not interested. As I have experienced this particular gingivitis in the past and other dentists used antibiotics and pharmaceutical mouthwash to alleviate the problem, I was inclined to contact and seek the advice of another dentist. Super clean office ! They have big screens in each little room that you're seated in for procedures. The screens play beautiful scenery from all over the world so you have a relaxing atmosphere before during and after your appointment. I recently had a dental emergency and Dr. Cohen was able to see me almost immediately, he made sure I was out of pain as soon as possible and took care of my issue, this is my first time at Bella Dental, I was impressed as to how nice and clean the office is, everything is very modern and cutting edge.
