I never had that problem to any significant degree prior. We're talking... big time. For months, actually. I've had others suggest that perhaps their instruments were not being properly sanitized. I can't say that's true or untrue. What I do know is: when I went in again to get my front teeth fixed, they were confused apparently, and tried to make a mold of my upper, left side molars instead. I let them know, well, fine, just a mix-up. Okay. So they did the mold on my upper front teeth, left it too long, and when they pulled it out, it really hurt and ended up breaking more of my front right incisor. That really upset me. That they have, typically (at least the 3 times I was there) an advertisement in their waiting room for a "chance to win a vacation if you give us a positive review" speaks volumes of their actual competence. That means a lot of the positive reviews here on Yelp. People just hoping to win something. It's pretty shameful. I would recommend finding an actual dentist who knows what they're doing and doesn't try to bribe you into giving them a good review here. I'd give them 0 stars if I could.

The office hours are Monday through Thursday AND Dr Hernandez has made a trip in for me on an off day when I needed it. This is a family practice and the service is very personal. Dr Hernandez stays current though he has been in practice for quite some time. I recommend this for the whole family.
