The self car wash eats quarters and does not turn on. You have to fill out a form and wait a week to get your $2 back.

Perhaps it's appropriate that my 5th stop (out of 11) at Seven-Eleven stores was middle of the…read moreroad. The very essence of a 'satisfactory' convenience store, this store offered one of the least memorable experiences of the day's adventure. As for all the stops on my voyage, I graded this store on five factors: Gas Prices, Slurpee Flavors, Business Flow, Service, and Location (with extra emphasis on the two final categories). Gas was $2.43 for a gallon of normal unleaded fuel, which is about average for the day. The nearby store at Bannock and Alameda seems to think they can charge six cents more, but this store's customers are hip to their scheme. Slurpee Flavors for the day were Pina Colada, Banana, Coke, Wild Cherry, the movie promotional Liquid Artillery flavor, and What-a-Melon. In the spirt of adventure that 7/11 entails for me, I decided to try a flavor I'd never had before (and seldom seen): What-a-Melon. Holy smokes, taste than uncomfortably sugary flavor! This place is packing the strong stuff, folks. I would not advise anyone over the age of 10 consume this particular edition of Slurpee. The store appeared to be jam packed (unsurprisingly on this date) when I pulled up, until I noticed additional parking spaces to the side of the building. Plenty of space to be had there! Although the store's exterior is nice and refurbished, the inside was pretty dingy, and with more stores to visit, I was happy to collect my frozen delight and head out. Before I did, I asked the clerks (as was my ritual), "Sir (or ma'am), do you have any more free Slurpee cups left?". The clerk kindly directed to me the stack of pink cups over near the drink dispensers. Just what I came for, thank you! The location of this store, and its aforementioned neighboring vendor, is frustrating, due to the lack of a left-turn light on Alameda. Not the store's fault, but I had to wait through several light cycles in order to turn into their parking lot. The additional spots adjacent to the building made parking (and turning) a lot easier, which I appreciated. Like I said, this store is the epitome of a medicore franchise: just enough positives to balance out the downsides, and make for an altogether fine visit. Just watch out for that watermelon Slurpee...or at least bring some insulin with you if you're of the mind to try it out.

This 7 eleven rips you off and calls you a bitch. Horrible customer service. Cussing and yelling to…read moreget out. Not until you give me back my money. Super rude and pissed.
