The restaurant decor and atmosphere is really nice however, I felt extremely rushed by our waiter. When I asked him, was it time for us to leave because I know that there is an hour and 30 minute seat limit at the tables. (We got there at 10:45) and it's only 11:12 am. He replied no you still have time then he proceeded to say that she put us down as a walk-in and it slow so we're fine. That's when I told him no I have a reservation for 11 AM. We only got here 15 minutes early. I proceeded to let him know that that's why you're rushing us then apologize and offered me a free mimosa which I declined at this point it's not needed. I feel unwanted, however the beignets with the lemon custard was good. My boyfriend got the chicken and waffles. The chicken was extremely good. The waffle on the other hand was hard. The pineapple I had was OK. I could've done better. Beignets 10/10 Chicken 10/10 waffle 0/10 Pineapple mimosa 5/10 Atmosphere and decor 10/10 Service 0 he was very attentive however he was rushing us. Melissa I went to the store after my nieces dental appointment. The store was very clean and set up nicely. You can tell that the food on the hot rollers was fresh and not still which is always a good sign. The employees were extremely quiet but they did do their job. I enjoy this location as I've never had an issue coming here and the place is actually clean which you can't see it for most gas stations. I have never had a bad experience at any maverick I've ever been to. With that being said Maverick is still one of my go to places to get gas and to just quickly stop off and get a drink. They also offer a reward system that helps you get discounts on gas which is always a plus. I really enjoy this travel stop and will be going again. read more

Aside from the riff raff that likes to hang around and the the robbery attempts this gas station is legit. Perfect location in the hood right across from waterworld. Probably the best gas station in the town of Federal Heights because they have the cheapest gas prices and the biggest selection of goods. This is always my stop before I head out to go fishing and camping. Great place to stock up on firewood, ice, snacks, gas and other miscellaneous items. We've won on quite a few scratchers at this location too. If you mosey on to the back of Maverick they have a Cinnabon back there with. I love to smell the freshly backed buns when I walk in. They also have a hot dogs, nachos, pizza, etc. read more

I also appreciate the fact that precautions are being taken to protect your health as well as your customer's health. Pumps scream techno in your ears first thing in the morning, food is never ready when they say it will be, regular drug addicts and homeless in parking lot. Rude staff, specifically the tall white gentleman with facial hair and tattoos, he always acts as though he is frustrated with dealing wit customer's, staff in not knowledgeable I always have to all but climb over the counter to show them what cigarettes I want.
