I grew up in ther Metro NYC area and have been eating pizza for over 6 decades. I've been to pizzerias all over Westchester NY, Bergen NJ and Fairfield CT Counties. Same goes for The Bronx and Manhattan. I've consumed pizza in Italy, UK and, Japan. Hands down my favorite is Sinapis. The crust is perfect. I usually have to ask for my pizza to have the crust crispy but I don't have to ask here. Love their toppings too. Last slice I had was eggplant and tomato with basil. It was excellent! Even though I am a fan of Kinchley's Taverns pies in Mahwah, I think Sanapi's is even better. read more

The crust on the regular slice is floppy mushy and disgusting . I also had a chicken Parm sandwich that was disgusting. After I ate, I went up to pay. They have one of those machines that asked for a tip before you swipe your card. I did not leave a tip and I got a dirty look from the -old lady that owns the place. read more

I really like this place plenty of room plenty of booths wide open a lot of choices for drinks. They have like three refrigerators maybe four well Doors but there's a lot. The pizza is really good too. I had the chicken masala. Oh my God I loved it. read more

The pizza is pretty good! Nice selection, tasty and speedy service and a nice ambiance. It was a great place to spend a few hours on a rainy afternoon. I liked this place until I paid. The menu prices are not correct. I was a disappointed about that. For example: The menu said $14 for a carafe of wine but we were charged $18. We were also charged a $1 topping fee but I don't recall adding any toppings. We will come back again because it was overall a good experience and the owners and staff were very nice, however I will definitely be sure to check the bill more thoroughly next time. read more

Had a wonderful car picnic here. Ordered the chicken Parm wedge, and a house salad with grilled chicken. Also got a couple of chicken marsala slices on the side. The pizza was crispy and fabulous. Excellent flavor to the chicken marsala. I could not believe the size of the wedges! Huge! The salad had more chicken on it than I could even imagine. It was tasty and the dressing was quite tangy. It also came with some garlic knots that were very crispy and delicious. The best part about it was how nice these people were. They actually told us to wait in the car, and brought our food outside to us when it was around 30°.! Everything was just perfect and delicious. I will be going there weekly. read more

I made the mistake of ordering Shrimp Scampi on a Sunday night. I've had it here before, it was okay. This time, the pasta tasted alot like spaghetti sauce. I cannot have spaghetti sauce. It never tasted that way before. The pasta was a bit too mushy as well. The had to have rinsed the sauce off the pasta, why else did it taste like spaghetti sauce. When bought to their attention, they lie and asked if I ordered it without sauce ??? They deny it and give us 12 garlic knots. Seriously??? The messed up part is that we were customers for years....frequent customers too. read more

Best local pizza. Wonderful wait staff. Old fashioned pizza parlor vibe. If you have a large part get there early but 4 or less the wait shouldnt be long during weekend dinner rush. read more

I've always loved this place. Friendly people and good food. I definitely recommend stopping by, you really can't go wrong with any of the pizzas or meals. My only desire is that they would be open later. Closing the kitchen at 8:30 is killing me. I need access to your delicious food till at least 9:30. Especially on Friday's and Saturdays ;-) read more

Best Pizza in Putnam County! This place is casual and the food is delicious. Their salad and chicken Alfredo is amazing.

Haven't been here in years and decided to give it another chance and went with a SMALL stuffed pizza. It was $30 and had a lot of grease that came out when I bit into it. read more

pizza is very good unfortunatly the girl serving at the counter has long hair bradid and as she was putting the slice in the oven her hair was right on the slice discusting and everytime i ask for sauce always get charged diff price sad they need to get the staff to put their hair up ughh read more

Honestly it used to be better when the original owner was alive. Pizza is kind of oily which I think means inexpensive mozzarella. Used to be every Friday in store dinner, not anymore read more

Friendly staff, amazing food, and casual atmosphere. Great place to grab a slice or enjoy a delicious dinner.

The lady that answers the phones is extremely RUDE!!!!! Then I walk in (few min early) tell her my name and she goes.... ha you just ordered and your here (10 min after I called).... ya, I'd like to get my drinks and pay... you lost us as customers you are externally rude when I was nothing but nice to you from the second I called.... probably shouldn't have someone front house with that attitude ....... read more

Went in on Father's Day 2018 to pick up an order. Order of a dozen wings came out greasy and dried out. I ate 2 and threw the rest out. I also took home 2 cheese slices. Very greasy as though they were sitting all day. Many other local places with better quality. Not likely to return. read more

Ok, I guess going there at 6:15 on New Year's Eve, was an unsure probability. Well, When I got my order, it was clearly overcooked shrimp parmigiana. I brought it to the waitresses attention and tried it. Not good, she offered to discount it, the kitchen was busy and missed the time of cooking it correctly. They also were closing early, ate half of it, they discounted my order 10%. I shall not return, there are several other Italian Restaurant's within the same mileage so thanks for the effort, but bad business usually correlates with bad food, case in point. read more

Awesome pizza by the slice. This place always has fresh pies out and I've never left hungry. Great service too.

I love the pizza here! It's very flavorful, staff is friendly and hospitable. There's been a couple times I've ordered pizza by the slice and could taste that it was reheated but other than that, it's usually fresh. When you take a bite of that fresh hot slice that's fresh out of the oven, and sauce drips down your chin with every bite, my god, that is the best slice you could possibly get. I've been to other pizza places where the slices are small and overpriced...not here, the slices are HUGE and the price is perfect for the quantity and quality, it's awesome! I've also had the chicken Parmesan wedge, I highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed. read more

Sinapis Pizzeria - Chicken Parmesan Wedge - Pizza Near Me - Brewster, New York

Very delicious food and very kind staff. The only thing that puts it down one star is that the food is a little overpriced.

I look forward to trying their other foods. Coming from the Bronx and settling in Danbury CT. I've been pizza deprived, I'm use to NYC pizza. Luckily through word of mouth I've been led to Sinapis Pizzeria and I will be a regular from now on. Thank God!!!! read more

The wait was long and the interior was lacking but the food definitely did not disappoint. Everyone was happy with their food and the bread on the table was great. My family comes here regularly and is always pleased. If I was local I would be here weekly but prefer to do take out. It's a loud environment if dining in and not too enjoyable IMO, it's hard to hear the people you're with but that's really my only complaint. read more

I love their pizza! Especially since it comes in extra large. But mainly because it's good! The dough is amazing, definitely NYC style. Soft and crisp at the same time. They are not stingy with the cheese either. I'm born and raised in the Bronx, my husband from Brooklyn. We love pizza and will travel almost anywhere to get the good stuff. Good thing we don't have to travel far for theirs. read more

Great pizza place. Rob the owner has come a long way in his ten year at this place. The pizza is always good, the sauce is tasty and the food is always hot when it comes to you. He makes great buffalo chicken wings and some of the better soups around. It's a hidden gem. read more

Personally my favorite pizza around this area. They have the best crumbled sausage. I haven't had entrees but one of the last places to have Stromboli on the menu. Dough is good, sauce is well balanced and cheese is good. Can't go wrong with their pizza. read more

I love this place. Pizza is always fresh, sauce is amazing and their garlic knots are soft and covered in garlic which is the best way to eat them. Staff is always nice too! read more

I would give this place 5 stars because their food is delicious & always fresh BUT the woman that answers the phone for orders is so damn rude! I called to place a huge order for my friends bday party which i was hosting for 10 ppl. The woman who answered asked me if it was 'pick up or delivery?" I told her 'delivery' - She dismissively replies "THATS GONNA BE OVER AN HOUR!" To which i replied "ok ..." since i half expected as much. I begin to give her my location - she says "we dont deliver there" - Just last week i was physically in the restaurant and she herself confirmed that they do actually deliver all the way up to "HighView & FoxRun in Carmel" but for some reason she was very hesitant about it yesterday. So when i heard the hesitation and rudeness in her voice I cancelled my order and took my business elsewhere. Being in customer service myself, I understand people have off days but she made me fee like she didnt want to be bothered. read more

I frequent Sinapi's, most of the time I order from the train on my way home and I take out. Last night I ordered the Mussels appetizer special. OMG to die for. So good coo-dos to the chef. read more

This would have been a better review if I didn't get over charged. First the menu says 14.75 for a large pizza got charged 18.97. When I asked her she said it's 15.99 plus tax so still got over charged. Not hard to change the price on your menu. Not that big of a deal but maybe try to make up for it. No all she said was sorry about that. Really. Well the pizza was good but it was my first and last time there. read more

We were looking for a place to eat and decided to stop here. Best pizza I have ever had!!!!! We got a large-half ricotta/prosciutto and half hot pepper/prosciutto. So fresh tasting. Such a great find. We will be back for sure. Terri was great as well. read more

Pizza is very good/consistent. We take out only. Also, the pasta dishes are outstanding. Our favorite is Linguini w/clam sauce. Sometimes their take- out packaging is a little messier than others, but considering the fresh taste of everything, not a serious hardship. No credit cards, an inconvenience. read more

We would order from them weekly, so they would make a LOT of money off of us since they knew we were steady customers and they would get at least one $50+ order a week (if not more). We live in Patterson and they are one of two places that will deliver to us. I'm not going to say the food is bad because it's fine, but the woman who works the front is so unbelievably unpleasant and rude that I refuse to spend another dollar there. On the phone she's rude but we always figured she was busy and let it slide, but we took our family there for lunch in person and she was astoundingly rude to my face when I got up to pay our bill. Nope. Not worth the money. I hope the managers/owners read this and address this, maybe we would consider coming back; but doesn't seem like they are responding to anybody's complaints about this woman so they value her more than the business. read more

Pizza and all dishes are made with fresh ingredients and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Seating is limited but never extremely crowded. Fantastic pizza and pasta. Cozy and laid-back atmosphere.

We love Sinapis!! They have the best Chicken Marsala I have ever tasted!! Great pizza and a wonderful staff!!

If you're going to take out from here, be sure to count your change! This place is notorious for handing back much less than what is on and overcharging on credit cards. I used to think it was a mistake, but after talking to many people and my own experiences, it is clearly not. Their food is delicious though, so that's why they got one star for me. read more

The one thing I always missed about moving out of Brooklyn was the the great pizza and Italian food. It took almost 10 years of going to different restaurants around the Danbury, Brewster area to finally find one that doesn't disappoint and Sinapis is the winner, no other restaurant comes close. read more

A very distinctive sauce with a unique flavor that leaves you coming back for more. The staff are very friendly and down to earth. The main dishes have large portions and the garlic knots are scrumptious. Friday nights can get a little crowded but the tables turn over quickly. Also a good selection of beers and wine by glass or carafe. My favorite dinner is Chicken Scarpariello, hmm hmm good. Oh and they are now taking credit cards, so no more looking for cash if you come up short. read more

Best pizza in town closest thing to a real NY slice around here! Service is always great!

By far, the Best Pizza in Brewster. They have a 2 large pizza special on Monday nights, 2 pizzas for $20.00, can't beat it!

This place sucks, the locals and friends of this place only write good things because they don't know what real pizza taste like. I went there to get a slice, tasted like it was sitting there ALL DAY LONG, greasy and disgusting, gave me an upset stomach. And the man at the counter was handling all the money and touching the food. NEVER AGAIN..don't @ me or try to change my mind. read more
