Ick. I'm sorry but we spent a fortune here last week on take out and it was a disaster on all levels. It was suppose to be a fun girls night and we all opted for pizzas, appetizers, bread knots, ect. 1. The wait was extended about 30 minutes longer than predicted. But that's ok, things happen and if they are making sure we get fresh good, hot foods...we will wait. But they weren't! 2. The order was wrong. We got over charged and wrong food was delivered or made. Both were not in our favor in the slightest. There was no sense in ruining more of our evening by sending the kid back with the messed items so, he got a big tip and we sent him in his way. 3. This one is major and the reason we won't eat there again...all 3 pizza were raw dough, soggy crust that was undercooked and a pale whiteish tan color on the crust. It was flavorless, badly made, just ugly. That's petty sounding but pizza generally looks delicious but this looked like it had been dropped. Not to mention all 3 boxes were stacked on each other in the delivery drivers car and the stream of pizzas softened the cardboard boxes so they collapsed in on each other. How this kid couldn't see or resolve the issue before he brought us squished pizzas is beyond me. 4. But the taste, right? That's what makes or breaks a place. Broken, it's just broken. The dough, which is specifically the pizza and the garlic knots, was not even good enough to be used in the marinara sauce. The pizzas were doughy, gooey, flavorless, unsalted, not yeasty, no chew to the dough and it was not a good vessel to carry toppings. The cheeses were greasy, rubbery and waxy. That fake cheap bulk bought cheese that only the cheapest places buy...the cheap restaurants really seem to like buying a using cheap cheeses that the customers don't enjoy and that make any effort to prepare good food automatically hit below the mark consistently. It isn't that difficult to make fresh mozzarella cheese to use on your dishes. It's lazy. How lazy is it to be a real Italian pizza joint and everything tastes bland and like the place is doomed. The cook would seem soulless and depressed by what he or she is putting out for public consumption. So they got a ton of money for a bunch of garbage that was delivered in squashed boxes and we were overcharged for food we ended by throwing away. Everyone tried everything and no one enjoyed any of it. I don't recommend wasting money here unless you looking for expensive badly made garbage. We are all getting squeezed to death financially but I refuse to support a local small business that doesn't care about it customers anymore. read more

Came to eat a late lunch after apple picking and my family and I absolutely love Pizza and Pasta 22 !! The owner is so nice and the service was great ! The food portions are generous and made with love ! We got the chicken marsala with spaghetti, chicken marsala slice, pepperoni slice, chicken and bacon Russian slice and a white slice. The pizza was not soggy the crust was good ! And my daughter said the cheese tasted awesome ! Everything was so tasty ! We are definitely coming back ! read more

Our first time ordering from here... ordered two large pizzas, Chicken Marsala, Eggplant Rollatini, roasted veggies, garlic knots.... It was all very good! The Pizzas had a nice thin crispy crust, and plenty of topping. Nice tasting sauce - not too sweet nor sour. The chicken Marsala was excellent, with a generous portion of chicken breast, and plenty of mushrooms in the sauce. The Eggplant Rollatini was nice, ut more heavy on the cheese than the eggplant... would have liked to taste more eggplant, but still enjoyable . The roasted veggies were a nice side to balance all the bread and cheese. The main courses provided pasta with sauce as our chosen side.. it was good. Order was ready when predicted, and I was greeted with friendly smile and owner who wanted to know his customers. All in all, our family of 6 gave it great reviews. Definitely recommend! read more

Ordered off of Slice last night- we had garlic knots, calamari, chicken francese, and some pizzas. The food was very tasty. The calamari was crispy which was a huge deal since it's not often we find good calamari locally. You get a lot for what you pay for and it's not some tiny little rubber pieces! I feel things needed a bit more salt, but that's fixable. I can't negatively review their francese because I see this elsewhere too, but when you ordered pasta with francese, it's typically meant to go UNDER the chicken in the same sauce, not with red sauce on the side. But next time I order I'll call and see if they'll do this. Everything else was very good. They're still brand new, and busy as ever, so kinks are bound to happen. Fantastic NY pizza! Pizza was perfectly baked and flavors burst in our mouths. Loved the crust and the sauce. We had a large cheese, a large sausage & onions and large eggplant & garlic. The pizza was only outdone by the excellent service and friendly staff. Never have I spent close to a hundred dollars on a dinner where you are so interested of trying a new place because you never know of how great things can be and try their food but was so horrible! The pizza pie was so dry and so hard, the calamari was too crispy, couldn't even taste the seameat lol and the penne ala vodka was not cooked correctly with stinky of too much Parmesan! read more

My first time trying this place and my last. Ordered two wedges. The eggplant was fine. The meatball parmigiana was absolutely disgusting. The meatballs were flavorless. No seasoning in them at all. Our family has only recently gotten around to trying Pizza & Pasta 22 and I only wish we had gotten to it earlier. We have been hearing good things around town and I can now say that we agree as well, they are very good. We have now ordered from them several times and each time they have not disappointed. Their pizza is very, very good and they have many varieties to choose from. Their penne ala vodka is outstanding, everyone loved it. The chicken cutlets are done to perfection. They are one of our favorite places to get chicken cutlets now as they are nice and thin and not too thick. Their customer service is wonderful which is not always the case these days. They are very friendly and accommodating. The young man behind the register is very helpful and appreciative of your business which is nice. Lastly, they offered us some kind of special bread they make and it is out of this world. We will definitely be coming back for more of that! read more
