I almost always visit Sin Fronteras when I'm in this part of Mexico mainly because of the view and the relaxing patio area. The beer is fine, a couple are really good and the rest are just fine, I can't remember off the top of my head which ones are my favorite. Anyway they now serve food and have different drink options so if beer isn't your thing you'll probably be able to find something here that you like. You can order your beer upstairs at the bar where they also have TVs, or side at the outside patio downstairs with the ocean view. read more

Alright, it has been since 2018 when I last reviewed this place so it's time for an update. Sin Fronteras is just a true gem. And it has only gotten better with time. They now have food, wine, and liquor options. Add on the live music and that incredible view and you've got yourself a seriously great spot to enjoy a weekend afternoon! This place is trash and over priced the customer service was horrible and they definitely give you the gringo price. No local can go here and have a good time because they can't afford it. UPDATE: As we were walking out our car was broken into. Be mindful of where you are parking your car. Appears family owned or run- we had a waitress with an assistant who was probably 7, who was super sweet, and worked harder than your average server/bar back. We were there for beer, but food smelled phenomenal. This is definitely a spot to hit! Tons of surfers were stopping in K38 surf shop and making their way into the attached brewery. No longer Sin Frontera but transitioning to Eden's Sin brewing. We stopped mid day Saturday and it was open for beer, margaritas and tacos/burgers. Owner gave friendly service and suggestions for beverages and food. My husband grabbed the shrimp tacos on blue corn tortillas. It took quite awhile to get them but he said they were amazing. We also ordered the guac burger and papas Fritas-- nice and crispy small wedges. Delicious as well. Food We grabbed a table by the cliff side and just enjoyed our beers with the sound of the Pacific while we waited for food. Three starts because it's getting up and running- still a bit of a mess and patio getting some needed attention (assembled new umbrellas while we were there). Food came out 1 at a time so we didn't really eat together; but we went for a local beer and tacos at the shore and we weren't pressed for time. It was worth the stop for those reasons. read more

This is NOT a brewery! They do not brew there own beer nor do they have the capacity to brew beer on their property. Maybe only coffee. They only sell Micro Brews from other Micro Brewing companies. Aside from that it's a very cool place to kick back, with a great ocean view and they have a few food stalls. They regularly change the beers they serve, so call ahead to see what on tap that week. It's right on the water, the beer is local and fresh, the Thursday to Sunday music scene is awesome and there's food available via the Baja Pig as well. They are not making their beer yet. Great joint to just hang out at. Beautiful views and all around great atmosphere. It's a brewery so its understandable they have no standard beers, because they make their own. Some of the beers had an old taste so we stuck to the one that didn't, which was their ipa. They had also ran out of bottled waters, so that sucked. My friends and I are regulars to Rosarito, Ensenada, and Tijuana. This is a great spot with a great view and great beers. It was our spot for a beer after a surf session at K38. We unfortunately had a very uncomfortable experience with somebody's son. This boy was running around poking people minding their own business. He did This several times to us and other customers. He then would place his RC car on the table where we were sitting at and drove the car into our beers then even tried to place the RC car on our shoulders. I was confused as to who was looking after this boy. It seems like the boy was well known in the facility since he was running around the whole outdoor area and would approach the staff there and even cling on to them. I do enjoy visiting this tap house, however now I will probably think twice before visiting. read more

When to this establishment to hear a friend of mine's band play and even sat in on a song... We waited in line and got a table. My wife and I ordered drinks from Rosa (a good friend from her previous employer). After singing we paid the bill said good by to Rosa our waitress and was walking out through the tunnel when the doorman came running after us... my wife told me the doorman was running after us for some reason...I stopped to see what he wanted... He proceeded to tell me I didn't pay my bill and he wanted to see my receipt... I couldn't find which pocket I put it in so he wanted me to come back with him to the table... As we got in viewing range of the table he sees the Black Book sitting on the table and looks at me and says, "Oh okay"... So I ask him does he check every one's receipt who leaves their table or just people who look like me (African American)... He acted like he didn't understand me and went back to doing whatever his job was. We left feeling very embarrassed as this seen was in front of everyone waiting in line...I took a moment to watch his actions and not one of the next 3 couple's receipts were checked ...total BS... the racist comments that others experienced in my opinion are definitely legit ...come on Sin Fronteras... really ... it's that how your employees are trained... you'll never see my business... terrible business practice... read more

Definitely a cool little spot in Baja for a cold beer! Sin Fronteras had several different beers from local breweries and some north of the border as well. Would definitely recommend to come when the weathers nice and with a group of beer loving friends. Their outdoor set up was comparable to those of Aguamala and other local breweries in the area. The upstairs even had some games! Can't wait to stop by if they ever decide to brew their own beers. read more

Ig made this place look good.. it took about 5 minutes for someone to come take our temperature due to Covid. Once we sat down we order beer, noting better then having a room temperature beer. Stumbled upon since stayed at Las Rocas hotel. This place is great! Gives you the North park Brewery feel but with an upgrade since your view is the OCEAN. Gorgeous view, friendly staff and best of all TASTY BEER. This is a must stop every visit. They have 9 beers on tap and bottles as well. Look out for their house brew beer some time February/ March. Make sure to say hello to the owner RYAN and his adorable dog FORREST. read more

Stopped by about a month ago. I was curious to check this place out after seeing it on a TV show. I was a little disappointed. There doesn't seem to be much parking. We were told to park in front of what appeared to be someone's house. When we walked in through a car port on the side of the building and first thing we saw were two large roaches walking around. This has to be the coolest bar in Baja!! I had a couple different beers-Perro Del Mar and Vaquita Marina- and they were outstanding! Kris was insanely attentive as a bartender and the prices were right. I had a vegetarian deep dish pizza from the Baja Pig next door that was out of this world. I would highly recommend this bar if you are in Rosarito, it's right above the K38 surf shop. The view from the patio won't disappoint, and they have live music all the time. Stopped here with my boyfriend for our short stay in Rosarito and ended up coming back multiple times. You can beat the ocean view, friendly staff and surrounding food vendors (which they happily allow you to eat inside). Most importantly, they carry a wide selection of delicious brews from local micro breweries. We can't wait to return! read more
