I wholeheartedly trust Sandy and her expertise in terms of shape and color. Whenever I look back at photos of my eyebrows before Sandy, I cringe a little bit and needless to say I'm very grateful Sandy did her thang and gave me some eyebrows! For my most recent experience, I went in for my 24+ month touch up and Sandy was in the shop waiting for me. I told her I felt like I didn't retain as much color as I had hoped last time, and told her areas of my concern where I don't grow as much hair. Sandy listened (most importantly, she did not get defensive about my concerns) and when she was done with the touch up, it was apparent that she had addressed my concerns. The whole process took a little less than an hour and a half. The "most painful" part was when she outlines the eyebrow without the numbing cream. She describes it as feeling like little scratches, and I agree. This pain felt like a 1/10 - my partner's dog scratches me harder than that. Once the numbing cream is on, you can't feel a single thing. Sandy is very gentle and will check in with you to see how you're doing throughout the process. She is so easy to chat with and the time flies by. One thing she's always done every single time I've seen her is show me that she's using a new needle when it is still in it's packaging. After the eyebrows are completed, Sandy goes over the aftercare steps with you and then follows up with an email. She is very great at answering all questions. I texted Sandy in advance to see if she accepts credit card, and she quickly responded she accepts Zelle, or if I choose to pay via cc then there is a 3% processing fee. I opted to use Zelle and she had her QR code already printed out in the studio which I found very helpful. I could write a novel about how much I enjoy Sandy and her work. I'd love to gate keep her, but that wouldn't be fair to her!

Time: 3hrs (consultation: 30mins, shaping: 30-35mins, tattooing:1.5 hrs, final review 15mins) Total cost: $350 Emily was super welcoming when you first entered! Since this is my first time getting my brows done (minus occasional threading) I have to say this is 4/5 stars. Once I have my follow up in a month I'll come back to make any edits to my review if needed. The consultation was super helpful as Emily explained to me the difference between micro blading and ombré powder and suggested what would be better suited for my face. Afterwards, she took her time mapping out my brows so that it would be exactly to my liking. She was patient when it came to making adjustments and was happy to redo a brow if it wasn't to my satisfaction before tattooing. The process wasn't painful as she used a numbing cream and would ask a few times how I was doing (in case I was in pain). Thought tattoo needles doesn't hurt for me, I appreciated how she was considerate of my comfort throughout the process. After the appointment was over I noticed a brow that wasn't to my liking. Emily had no problem letting me come back the same day to fix it. She also texted me what aftercare was needed that way I could go back for references (I know some places just verbally tell you and hope you remembered everything by the time you get home). I forgot to ask if the follow up appointment for Emily to check how the coloring was and make any other adjustments cost so I'll have to get back on that.
